If they trained them, or hired so.eone with a more sense of urgency, this food joint would rock! Ambiance: A small, strip-mall style hole in the wall. We gave this local place a try and it was woth the trip. Very common 4 top tables with 2 pull-chairs and booth seating along the walls. Over all, we would go back. The pricing was par for the industry, wife and I had the above listed items and fountain drinks. The total was $85. This location is above average due to the freshness of their seafood. We don't go to seafood boils often but when we do its for sure here. Their lunch specials are so worth it!! If you have not tried it you are missing out. I got their lunch plate with the peeled shrimp and it was BOMB. The flavors was the right amount of spice. Husband got their fish and chips and devour it ALL. Their bag boils are just as delicious. Service was great every time we went. They are fast and courteous. Food comes out in a timely manner. They checked on us several times. No complaints to their service. I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience here. Parking is in plaza shared with other businesses. The place is clean and cozy. The service was fast, friendly and attentive. Their menu is extensive, not just seafood boil but creole food as well. Everything we ordered was delicious and well worth the price. The gumbo is a very big portion, the lobster is fresh and the fish & chips is also very good. The fountain drinks are refillable. A big plus is the complimentary dessert (fried oreo with ice cream) It sounded very sweet but it actually wasn't. It was just the right amount of sweetness and not greasy at all. We've come here as a group a handful of times and have never been disappointed. We usually come after a group meet up in the middle of the week so we tend to arrive after the dinner rush so even on this particular weeknight with a party of 10 for a quick last minute birthday celebration, there is little to no wait. The parking lot can get full and there's dedicated spots for pick up , but at the hour we usually go , we have no issues with parking. The prices are fair , we always get the head on shrimp which is delicious . If you enjoy spice , anything more than mild will be sufficient. Even at mild , it's got quite a kick, but the stinkin special sauce is what makes everything so flavorful. I believe it's a mix of the garlic butter and lemon pepper. We love the ambiance of this restaurant because while small, there's lots of TVs to enjoy a game and the family style seating with the bibs, seafood shells-a mess-on the table adds to the experience. And finally the reason I came to write this review, the service . We've mostly seen the same server every time we've come but today she was accompanied by another server. As a team , they made our experience great; they were personable , kind, knowledgeable and quick. I felt a little bad coming in about 90 mins to closing with a large party, but they made us feel comfortable. The free fried Oreo and ice cream dessert is also a plus! I really enjoy the seafood boil here. I prefer this restaurant over boiling crab. I am always welcomed with nice smiles and great service. Yes sometimes the wait is tedious especially when you know you're in for a delicious meal but it's so worth the wait. I can see them locating to a bigger space in the future. This restaurant is much smaller than other seafood boil spots (probably around 15-20 tables total), but the food and service we got were great! The interior itself is clean, and the staff were nice. We went on a whim one weekend and had to wait for about 30 minutes for a table for three. We ordered the Seafood Lover combo (1lb shrimp, 1lb clams, and 1lb mussels) and added 1lb of crawfish. The combo also comes with corn, potatoes, sausage, and 1 sauce - we opted for the stinkin' special sauce at a mild spice level. The seafood was delicious and the flavor was great! We shared everything and our server checked on us diligently. Really great and amazing seafood boil, but I wouldn't recommend bringing a huge group of people unless they can do reservations. The restaurant offers a variety of boiled seafood in its own bag and sauce. We tried the crab legs with potatoes, sausage, and corn in their special Cajun sauce. It was very delicious and the spice level was just right. Dishes go really good with white rice on the side. Service was a bit slow at times and it took a while to get our check and pay the bill. I had to walk up to the cashier in this table service restaurant. They forgot to bring out our garlic bread order but eventually it was resolved. We know the area, but never thought of trying this place. We thought it was only the kind of restaurant where you eat in the boiling bag (which I really really don't like doing). But I looked over the menu and say plenty of other options not from a bag! I have to say it was PRETTY GOOD! We ordered catfish, fries and oysters & it did not disappoint. They rarely check up on us The only time they came was when they brought the food and to bring us the check. For starters, we ordered the jalapeño poppers and calamari. Unfortunately, the calamari was chewy and lacked the crispy texture I was expecting, so I wasn't a fan. The jalapeño poppers had a unique twist--pickled jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon. While they were good, the pickled flavor threw me off a bit, so I'm not sure I'd order them again. For the main dish, we shared the tiger shrimp bag with sausage, potatoes, corn, and a side of rice. This used to be one of our favorite spots when it first opened, and after not having it for a while and needing to satisfy a craving we swung by Stinkin Crawfish and we were disappointed. We ordered 1lb each of shrimp with the stinkin special sauce, and sadly there was nothing special about the sauce anymore. It was really watered down and would barely hang on to the shrimp. The bags came out piping hot which is good, but when it's that hot it continues to cook the shrimp and the shrimp was way too overcooked almost as if we were chewing on rubber. Something about a shrimp boil makes it not half as good if you try to reheat. It was like a party in mouth with butter and garlic as invited guests, and shrimp as the birthday girl. Came here as an alternative to Boiling Crab since their waiting was over 2 hours!! There was only a short wait time (15 mins) here for nearly the same food. It was busy once we got there but once we ate it slowed down. I wanted to get a to-go portion and the staff kindly advised me to order it towards the end of my meal so the mussels wouldn't get overcooked in the bag. My friends and I all got 1lb of shrimp with the Make It Awesome which has potatoes, corn, and sausage. I think this is the best supplement to add to your bag as you get a better variety! This place is a good alternative to Cajun competitors and a good meal to eat with friends.
