This new location looked so nice compared to the other locations. The tables were so close to each other, which was a bit annoying. Even the staffs had a hard time getting thru to deliver the foods. We were seated pretty quickly. Right when seated, the staff brought out the veggies and tea. Once we placed the order, the foods came out fairly quickly. The broth was a bit salty, but it was good. The pho was not overly soft or chewy. The meats were huge and way too thick, imo. This made the meats somewhat dry. Not sure what happened to the other locations. The quality went downhill. If you want phoholic, this one would be the better choice.

I was craving some pho & wanted something quick so I decided to come to phoholic. The first time I tried it, I wasn't a big fan but I decided to give it another try & it was a lot better than my first experience. I usually only ever order pho tai so I've tried a variety from different establishments. The broth was very rich & flavorful but had a lot of fat. The meat was just alright. It didn't taste or have the texture of the tai meat slices that I'm usually accustomed to. It was all clumped up and required some breaking apart before I could eat it. Overall, I had a better experience than my first time dining at phoholic. I'm not sure if I would come back since there's so many other great pho restaurants.

At first I had my doubts, a restaurant named Pho-Holic can't be taken seriously. But then I was seated. Ordered their Pho "Holic" and a side of Beef Back Ribs..... And then the food came... And I started questioning if I really knew anything about Pho. The soup, a glistening golden color, clear, crisp with very deep deep bone marrow aromas just dispersing from the steam of the soup. Absolutely stunning, just gazing at the coloring, nothing overpowering, peppers, fennel, coriander, anise evenly distributed in the body, all extremely subtle, no hints of one herb or spice trying to take the spotlight ...... this beautiful fusion of fats, spices and Umami intertwined in the soup had equally steeped into the meats. And I took a bite, then sipped. The earthly tones, subtle sweetness and again just this blend of herbs and spices rich, deep, Alot of bone Umami, dancing a ballad on your taste buds. What a treat. For a second, I almost tasted hints of Chinese Angelica Roots, the soul of Bak Kuh The 肉骨茶 (Rou Gu Cha) ribs.. Every bite further into the Beef Back Ribs, there was just this surprise of that medicinal property. I don't know... maybe my mind was playing games with me. However, I definitely felt like I traveled 100-150 years back to an early Teochew (潮州) village in Vietnam, and this was some sort of long lost recipe from the early Fujjan Teochew Settlers in Vietnam; the soup base is Alot different here having that Cantonese Fujjan/ Teochew influence. Which begs the question...maybe the owners are Viet Chinese. But that's not the point. This is undoubtedly some of the best Pho I think anyone will get. And to be honest and fair, I last reviewed Pho & Broth in Ontario, it was closer to the style of Pho Ive come to enjoy in Denver Colorado at Pho 555. But now, I think if I had to throw in a list that included Golden Delight, Golden Deli, Pho & Broth, Pho Hai, Pho 79, Pho Ha, Pho Bamboo Vietnamese, Pho Anvi West, Pho Rowland, (Yes I Have indeed patronized all these places), Pho Holic gets my pick for Best Pho overall in the two counties of Los Angeles and Orange. Before my review, I honestly thought I was going to write a very mid review like "bleh, it's whatever, service is slow" but yes other than being seated and no one came to take my order for ages, the Hype is well deserved. Wait-list understandable. This review was strictly based on one dish: The Dac Biet Pho.

Phởholic is the perfect spot for anyone craving a comforting bowl of authentic Vietnamese pho. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon, and despite being busy during our visit, we were seated right away. The restaurant features a modern, stylish interior with a clean dining area, and the service was friendly and efficient. **No. 15 Pho: 5/5** This was everything I look for in a great bowl of pho. The broth was wonderfully light yet deeply flavorful, delivering a rich savory taste balanced by a subtle natural sweetness that made every sip incredibly enjoyable without ever feeling heavy. I opted for the fresh flat noodles, which had a silky, pleasantly chewy texture that soaked up the delicious broth beautifully. The generous portions of meat were exceptionally tender and plentiful, making the dish both hearty and satisfying. It was served with a fresh platter of basil, bean sprouts, jalapeños, lime, and pickled onions, allowing me to customize every bite with layers of freshness, acidity, and heat. From the rich, hearty broth to the quality ingredients, every element of the pho reflected the care and craftsmanship behind Phởholic's reputation. It's the kind of place that leaves you looking forward to your next bowl before you've even finished the first.

I have been to their other locations but was my first time for this location and the ambiance inside is so pretty and their service was friendly and really quickly too. My friend and I both got the number 2 with small noodles and the broth tastes so refreshing and delicious. I also got their thai tea and was really good too, I would definitely come back again!

Located right next to Meet Fresh. Honestly perfect spot cause people can get pho here and then Meet Fresh next door for dessert lol. Walking in, my first thought was that the restaurant was quite modern for a pho restaurant. Definitely a lot nicer than a lot of pho restaurants i've seen. We came for dinner, so there were still plenty of seating around. Service was efficient and friendly. They also offer free tea too! I was surprised how they only just have pho here. Pretty sad they don't offer eggrolls here or anything, cause that would've been perfect! Although, the pho itself was already pretty good. Broth is very clean, and portions were good! Solid pho joint. Pho only.

I finally got to try the pho restaurant that everyone's talks about and I see why. All of us got the holic pho and wow it included so much meat and was very tasty. Service was fast and accommodating with our party of 7. Place is very clean and in a very great location since meet fresh is right next to it for dessert afterwards. Can't wait to come back!

This is a legendary spot from Orange County that finally made its way closer to me. Back in the day, I would literally drive an hour and then wait another 2 hours just to eat here. The hype is definitely still real. I came once on a weekend and the wait was easily 2 to 3 hours long. For pho. That's commitment. That said, I also came on a weekday around 5pm and there was no wait at all, which was a much better experience. The pho here is really good and has become one of my preferred spots. The broth is flavorful, the quality is consistent, and it reminds me why people are willing to wait so long for it. These days I've figured out a better strategy. Instead of waiting in line, I order it to go and ask for the noodles uncooked so I can prepare everything at home. Overall, I'm just glad Phoholic finally opened closer to the SGV. If you've never tried it before, it's definitely worth checking out. Just plan accordingly if you're thinking about coming during peak hours.

First and foremost, the decor of this place is simply beautiful. Secondly, the service is exceptional. The staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive. Lastly, the food was absolutely delicious. I had tried pho before, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. Today, I decided to give it another chance and visited this place. I was satisfied. The broth was incredibly flavorful but slightly salty for my taste. The noodles were perfectly chewy, just as the waiter had recommended. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning. Thanks!

Plastic in Food: 0 stars Service: 2.5-3 stars (some were 4 stars, while some were 2.5 stars) Food: 4 stars Plating: 2.5-3 stars My first and only experience to PhoHolic was an interesting one... For months, I have heard about PhoHolic and the anticipated opening for this restaurant. I was finally able to visit this past weekend and I will elaborate below on why my review is so much lower than other Yelpers. #14 Brisket, Flank, Fatty Flank, Tendon, and Tripe Pho w/ flat noodles $16.60 For a group of 5 on Saturday morning, we were able to be seated as we walked into the restaurant, which was a huge surprise. Even though there are tables and chairs directly straight, they sat us at a half booth, half table with chairs. It was not the most convenient or most comfortable as the backs to the booth were a bit far, but there sure was plenty of room. Even the chairs were spaced too closely, especially to the kitchen and I worried every time an employee walked by with bowls of hot pho... It just takes one misstep and the hot pho will be poured onto us at the table. Since it was everyone's first time there, dining in, PhoHolic sure has their own take on service. Once you sit down, sauces are delivered to you, along with the condiments. We mentioned 5 people, but they placed only settings for 4 so had to ask them for an extra setting. After ordering, they brought 3 bowls of soup, which confused the rest of us as there was 5 of us. We flagged down a server to ask, and apparently, it was complimentary. We had to ask for 2 extra bowls as we are not a family, and even if so, the 5 of us are not going to be scooping out of 3 bowls. As I was drinking the complimentary soup, there was plastic in my soup (attached picture). I mentioned it to the server, he just said "sorry" and nothing else. I don't think management was even notified. With the way that the booths are set-up, delivering our hot bowls of pho to each of us was also a bit dangerous. Again, all it takes is one mistake and I would have had pho spilled all over me as well. Other than the sauces brought to us, along with the complimentary soup and pho, our water was never refilled (and these are very small cups) and no server came to check up on us. When we requested to-go boxes, the server was not calculating it correctly prior to bringing the containers and we had to ask another server for 1 more. Also, one does not ask for the check, one goes to the front of the restaurant and mentions the table number, which we did not know because it was our first time there and no one told us. They also do not split checks, as mentioned on the hostess stand. There are also no paper menus for to-go, so make sure to take a photo of the menu! The soup and flavors were great, and can tell there was not much MSG in the broth. It was clear and refreshing. The tendon cut (or lack of a cut) was very generous. Would have preferred a bit more refined portion and more within the soup as some may have chewing issues with the thick tendon. The tripe was very thinly sliced and soft. I do like how one can choose between small noodles or flat/fresh noodles. For service, I would not expect to be tipping them the normal as I felt service was very minimal. Although there were many servers around, I felt they were standing around more than anything. Management was not notified of the foreign object in our soup. Food-wise, besides the plastic, it was good but I don't know if I would frequent PhoHolic often for my pho fix. There is plenty of parking as PhoHolic took over the previous Corner Bakery section of the building shared with Meet Fresh.

This place is the only pho place in the HH area that has lines during the lunch rush. The stopped by around 11am and was able to avoid the rush. There is only one thing on the menu...PHO. They do have a lot of premium meat options. I didn't really like this pho, like maybe it makes my top 10 in LA list. But it wouldn't make the list at all if I include OC restaurants. The broth is dark and rich, but I think it has too much of the dry spices. It tasted like the spice pouch was left in to cook for too long. I should mention that the service here is better than the service you will find at any other pho restaurant in LA or OC. They also sometimes give you a free bowl of meat trimmings cooked in their pho broth. This wasn't really my thing, but I can see how many people would come just for that.

Two adults and two children enter PhoHolic of Hacienda Heights, CA. The Vietnamese pho chain is a modern, bright, and trendy noodle shop. Waiters are busy, but they work well with each other as team and friendly. The menu is super simple, one page of drinks. One page of pho only! Phoholic really focuses on the pho experience. We ordered #15 PHỞ CHÍN, NẠM, GẦU, GÂN, VỀ Brisket, Flank, Fatty Flank, Tendon, Crunchy Flank Phở, #4 Pho Chin which is just Brisket Pho. Basically all the soup base is same, you can select thin or flat noodles. All the pho have different type of meat. The ingredients are fresh, meats are tasty. Size and portion is good. They offer free kids pho and all noodles come with choice of hot tea or iced tea. Price is same for all pho except of oxtail ones (two of them) are higher in price. Overall, the soup itself is on the sweeter side and we kind of get thirsty right after. The taste is good, plenty of meats! It's a good pho restaurant to visit if you have small kids. Easy menu and pho is consistent. First time here, so I am looking forward to future visits.

Wins on service alone. When I mentioned to the server that I had to leave in 20 minutes, I got my food in less than 5. The brisket pho was perfectly nourishing and large but not overwhelming. There was a good noodle to meat ratio and the broth was spectacular. The ac temperature was perfect for the heat outside, and made the eating experience even more enjoyable. So glad I was able to stop by!

Guilin Rice Noodle vs. Taiwanese Rice Noodle…read more This was totally different from what I had envisioned when I first walked in a couple of months ago. At first, I was a little skeptical because the inside was quite dark, and the ambiance wasn't really what I preferred. But since I was already there, I decided to give it a try. I ordered a soup-based rice noodle dish that day. It was okay, the texture was more like regular noodles and not quite like the Southeast Asian-style thin rice noodles, I was familiar with. Then last Sunday, with the weather being so hot, I started thinking maybe their dry rice noodle would be a better choice. I looked through the menu, but some of the ingredient combinations were unfamiliar to me, so I decided to play it safe and ordered the crispy pork and beef dry rice noodle. It turned out to be a good choice. The portion was generous, a big bowl that even came with two small quail eggs. And a small bowl of chicken broth on the side. $12.99 When my order was ready, I picked it up and was guided to the sauce bar, where I could customize the flavor myself with hot sauce, soy sauce, chopped green onions, cilantro, and even dry peanuts ... etc. The DIY sauce bar was a fun touch, and the dry rice noodle gave me a completely different experience from my first visit. In the end, I enjoyed my lunch and took some leftovers home.
