At 5:59pm I was instructed by text to meet the driver at a specific pickup location. I arrived there shortly afterward, but the driver was not present. I received multiple texts stating "take me about three minutes to get there," "3 minutes," "I'm coming," etc. Yet the vehicle did not arrive until approximately 6:40pm. As an older traveler with mobility concerns, I hired a limo service specifically for peace of mind and reliability. The vehicle itself was fine, and I did ultimately get home safely. However, the delay and the inaccurate arrival estimates created unnecessary anxiety. When I contacted the company the next day to request acknowledgment and adjustment to their charge, I was told I had only waited three minutes and was informed I am no longer welcome to use the service. I'm sharing this experience for travelers who prioritize reliability and clear communication when arranging airport transportation.

Now it may seem crazy to use a private car company, however Uber in Boulder isn't always reliable. It is also the same price so it made perfect sense. As a parent it truly eased our anxiety. All we can say is that they are amazing, professional, personable, reliable, and dependable. They have been amazing these last 4 years. When I called to talk with the owner Carlos to explain my needs he said," Do not worry we got you and your son"! He and his company have lived up to those words over and over again. Using Boulder Transport is one of the best decisions we every made.

Calling to speak to a human was equally frustrating, because no humans answer the phones. My call went to voicemail. After leaving a message, no one called me back. Hitchhiking would have been more effective. (NOTE: Do not hitchhike; this is very dangerous). Seriously, my experience leaves me wondering if this company is actually still in operation. If it is, then Eight Black is in serious need of some customer service training. Note to competitors: HUGE opportunity here. Jump on it!

She got delayed several times, pushed to 6:50am despite the poor weather conditions. She figured she might be the last pick up; they were supposed to arrive to the airport by 8am. Instead, she got driven all over creation, down 2-lane rural farm roads to pick up just one person in Erie, then dumped off at a transfer to a completely packed shuttle from Boulder. They didn't arrive to the airport until 8:20am. You can read in my reviews and check ins that Eight Black has been consistently declining, pretty rapidly over the past year especially. Their relatively new habit of carting Longmont passengers around for excessive amounts of time to pick people up all over creation has got to stop. Just freakin' take us to the airport in a smaller vehicle and have someone else take the Boulder/Erie folks to the airport. Or make those rural folks park in a P&R or hub like RTD passengers do, like we have the option to do in Longmont (used to be standard for this company). There are so many better options than what this business is doing now. Longmont passengers are absolutely getting the loooooooooong end of the stick (and that ain't the good end) from Eight Black these days. If we can no longer rely on Eight Black to get us TO the airport on time, I won't be sending anyone in their direction at all. I have vouchers to use up but once those are gone, my time with Eight Black is almost guaranteed to be over unless/until I read reviews about major changes.

I brought my whole family and it was enjoyable for all ages from 12 to 77- There is a bit of walking and standing but some chances to sit down. Totally more interesting than walking around the area without information. The fun part (all of it is fun) was going inside Union Station and hearing the history that has been glossed over by historians trying to attract visitors to Denver. As the tour progresses, it gets better and better. By the time we exited Union Station, it was dark and the area was lit up with people enjoying the beautiful evening- you see pedicabs and bicycles, lit buildings and a fountain with lights in addition to the story weaver guide. This is the authentic tour to take.

The one exception was the Chinatown massacre; but there was a meaningful historical omission: how local white-owned businesses and residents hid and protected over 100 Chinese people during that riot. The entire narration was full of Marxist-ish moral evaluations that were truly eyerolling. The real facts of Denver history in its full context (and, yes, the fun and eerie ghostly aftermath) are fascinating on their own. Falsehoods and innuendo are actually quite boring.
