So as a person who was in need of renting lights for a teenagers birthday party, to get an email talking about 2500 deposit or 10000 in insurance policy, etc. for a light kit I found at several other places for $80 a day and not all this drama and tension. Glad she turned me off with her rude ass. Now.. the way life works.. I do work in the entertainment business for one of the largest networks. Very nice people but the conversion job was less than satisfactory. They gave me a hard time about…read moreit- blaming the age of the media and not their fault. They say they tried hard and made me feel bad saying they tried it on multiple machines and still the quality was poor. At that point they should have called me but they did not. She claimed it was 1 in 1000 that had this issue. I did the research and pointed out a possible fix; they sent my VHS tape over to their Torrance store and the result was noticeably much better. In the meantime, I missed my deadline and the poor version was not acceptable for the event we were planning to show it at. So I WOULD recommend this business but ONLY the Torrance store with the better equipped deck. I was made to feel bad for insisting on better quality- this was not a good feeling so I do not think I would use them again. (I imagine they are not going to cry about losing me as a customer) In the end, they gave me the fat file so we could do professional corrections on the file so I can still recommend them but they did say up front at the end, that they don't do this usually. And they did NOT charge me extra.

Each time, the person I dealt with or spoke with on the phone was very friendly, personable, and professional. They all couldn't have been nicer. The time it took to convert each set of filmstrips was reasonable. The quality of the converted videos turned out excellent! I am very pleased with how they turned out and have been sharing the links with many friends and family. The videos are truly treasured keepsakes. DVD Your Memories was recommended by one of my cousins and it certainly worked out that this location was very convenient. I can't recommend this place enough!

I gave them 10 vhs tapes. They were able to convert 9/10. Despite me writing my name out for them and also despite the vhs tapes being labeled, they misspelled my name on 5/9 dvds. When I asked if anything could be done verad gave me attitude and told me "I'm money hungry"??? What's this about? Extremely unprofessional service and truly embarrassing. It saddens me that people conduct their business in this way. I was also pressured and forced to pay online in full the night before I was to pick up the tapes or else I couldn't retrieve them. I had to stop what I was doing to pay on my cellphone while being out at a dinner. What a joke. Super unprofessional and horrible experience. I do not recommend.
