I'm not usually a review person but given the situation being so special I felt it necessary to warn potential brides that this particular consultant, Jordan will in fact ruin your experience. I brought my sister to Grace Loves Lace expecting a special and memorable experience, but what we got was the complete opposite. Before the appointment, I spoke with two different people to make sure everything was set, yet when we arrived, our bridal consultant was completely unprepared, disorganized, and honestly, a mess. She seemed far more focused on pushing a sale than actually helping my sister find a dress she loved. From the start, she barely listened to my sister's preferences and kept picking dresses that didn't match her vision. Instead of making her feel special, she made her feel pressured and dismissed. My sister--who should have been having one of the most exciting moments of her life--ended up leaving in tears because she felt unheard and rushed into a decision she wasn't comfortable with. What made it even worse was looking around the boutique and seeing two other brides having wonderful experiences with their consultants. They were smiling, laughing, and clearly being listened to, while my sister was treated like an afterthought. It was confusing and frustrating to watch because it proved that the boutique is capable of delivering the kind of service we expected--but unfortunately, not with the consultant we were given. And let's talk about professionalism--because there was none. Our consultant showed up looking completely disheveled, with dog hair all over her clothes which made it impossible to take her seriously. First impressions matter, and if she had carried herself with even a little more effort and professionalism, this experience might have gone in a completely different direction. At the end of the day, we left without a dress--not because my sister didn't find one she could have loved, but because the consultant made the experience so uncomfortable and impersonal that she didn't even want to say "yes" to anything. I truly hope management takes a hard look at who they have representing their boutique because no bride should be made to feel like this on such an important day. read more

I had my first appointment in Seattle with Grace loves lace & i was very impressed by their professional service! 10/10 I had a personal stylist Erin for my complementary appointment and she was so helpful and created such a great atmosphere!! I was so satisfied with my first experience!! All the gowns are so comfortable and made out of very quality fabric, when I tried them on I felt so easy to breathe and move around ! My experience here was great! The girl who helped me, Mandee, was so helpful and wanted to make sure everything was going well for me. She helped the dress and asked personally if I wanted to share the dress with everyone which had never been done before but made me feel more in control which was nice! I ended up finding my dress here and she made the process so easy with explaining how payments work, the timeline it needed to be done and what alterations I'd most likely need to determine if I needed to buy the dress pre-altered to my size to reduce costs. 10/10 would recommend trying on dresses here for your big day! COVID review: I was super excited that Grace Loves Lace opened a Seattle location in late September 2020. I scheduled my bridal appointment about a month before and it was super easy, I just filled out everything online. I was able to bring 2 guests with me. Upon arrival, the store itself is very chic and modern. I love how personal a bridal appointment is here. They offered us champagne and tea during my appointment. You also have your own dressing area that is completely blocked off from other people with long curtains. I was able to try on 6 different dresses and I would say that their dresses are extremely comfortable. Most of their dresses are form fitting, but they are tailored for your exact body. I didn't need any clips for the dresses, as the fit on each of them was almost perfect. They took a bunch of different measurements because when you order a dress, they make a dress specifically made for you in Australia and then it is sent to your home. The lace on the dresses was pretty and delicate looking. The person that helped me was the store manager and she was very helpful. I was able to also try on my two favorite dresses with a veil. When I left the store, she provided me with my exact measurements and my favorites of what I tried on. Overall, I had a great experience here and would recommend coming here for wedding dresses. read more

WOW, what a fun hour of my day this was. I had an appointment to try on wedding dresses with my maid of honor (it also happened to be my very first time trying on wedding dresses so I was a bit nervous!) and our stylist was Karina. From the very start, Karina was so kind and genuine, and made me feel confident and at ease. She brought us each a glass of champagne with the most beautiful little rosebuds floating on top--it was so fun to toast to the occasion! The appointment time was one hour long and included five dresses; I was able to try on one or two more because the dresses were a lot easier to get into than I had anticipated! As others have noted, GLL dresses are nice and stretchy, and they were a breeze to put on. During my appointment, I was pleasantly surprised to find a number of dresses that I could seriously picture myself wearing on our wedding day, even though before I would have never thought to have considered those styles. I really liked that this salon feels intimate and private; not as "on display" as other places. Everything is clean and safety precautions were followed. I could have totally walked out with my dress that day, if I wasn't already going to be looking at dresses with my mom in SF at a later date. Who knows, maybe I'll come back to the ones here! We had the most lovely morning with Analise. This was our first time trying dresses on and she made us feel so comfortable and confident. By the end of the session we felt like she was part of our family. This salon has so many gorgeous dresses, the designer definitely has a defined taste. Most of the options were tight fitting, Lacey, low back. The salon itself is so pretty and spacious. Overall a wonderful experience!! read more

I chose Grace Loves Lace as my first bridal dress appointment because of the great reviews, and I wasn't disappointed! They have an interesting dress making process where they make it to order. They size each part of the dress (the bust, the waist, the hips) as a different standard size, which usually fits their clientele relatively well but may need additional third party alterations (which would be covered by your own dime). The dress is made in Australia so it takes a bit longer to get here (I think they said to allow 6-8 weeks between ordering and receiving). They gave us champagne with a cute flower inside which helped made the experience so great. The sweet person who helped me was never pushy and was helpful without being overbearing. I actually put on and took off most of the dresses by myself because their dresses don't have any zippers and minimal buttons! Super comfy/stretchy dresses and not heavy at all like I had imagined from watching videos of other bridal salons. They gave me a card with my measurements and my top choice dresses at the end, with absolutely no pressure on buying anything from their shop. Loved my experience here and would recommend to anyone! read more

I had a great experience trying on dresses here. They had dresses available in my size, which at other places, doesn't seem to be common. It was great being able to try on dresses and see how they would actually fit me, rather than trying one on 3 sizes bigger and clipping it up. The girls at Grace Loves Lace were welcoming and offered me champagne or tea. I definitely recommend coming here as part of your dress hunting. The dresses they sell are more lace, fitted dresses so if you're looking for simple, flowy, poofy dresses they don't have many of those options. However the dresses they sell are soft, comfortable and look beautiful! I haven't decided on a dress yet but I'm definitely keeping these ones as a top option. read more

I had such a great experience at Grace Loves Lace! My stylist Melissa was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and talented and helped me pick the perfect dress, veil and earrings. I never felt pressured and felt totally supported the whole time. I was even able to come back a second time in the same day to try my favorite dress on again and make absolutely sure it was the one. My experience here was one of the best! The shop was beautiful and the girl I was working with (Haley) made me feel so special. She was so personal and fun- it felt like I was shopping with a friend! She gave me, my mom, and my sister a glass of champagne as we shopped for dresses. Their mirrors and set up were so beautiful and really made it possible to picture yourself in some of the dresses on your big day. I didn't end up finding my dream dress here, but they were all so beautiful!!! Maybe if I had a larger budget ;) I'd definitely recommend this place to a friend because I loved it so much! read more

I will say Bailey in Seattle is very sweet and my time in person with her was nice. This review is not about her but for the dress company and their customer service and lack of care about the supply chain/ production issues. I purchased my GLL dress in March and finished my final measurements in April. My dress should have been sent last week but I received an email on 8/7 that there is production delays and my dress would "still arrive four weeks before my wedding." Knowing that my size would shrink after a baby and shoulder surgery, myself and the manager in Seattle planned for a few weeks of alterations needed prior to my wedding in October. Once I received the email that I wouldn't receive my dress until the week of September 5th, I called local seamstresses and none had altered a GLL dress so I still planned to go with the recommendation in Seattle. The seamstresses also stated it was a holiday weekend (Labor day in the US shuts down deliveries and shops) and it would be really hard to get in that week especially with the current wedding workload. I sent a message to GLL customer service and they were extremely unhelpful. I have no less than 7 emails back and forth to them right now. I have now asked for production stopped (since they said it was delayed anyways) and a refund as by the time I receive the dress and get it in for alterations, It will not be completed in time. Once I asked for a refund, the customer service team completely discounted anything I said about timing and my discomfort in last minute alterations butting right up to the wedding date. After going back and forth with their CS team, I received an email tonight telling me that they pushed up the production 3 days and that would ensure that they sent the dress within the time frame of their terms and conditions. This would warrant no refund. But they stated that "If we pass that date, and are no longer within our terms and conditions, we will of course revisit your refund request." They clearly moved production up so that they didn't have to refund me at all while the production is CLEARLY not done, this would allow them to reuse the materials, however, they just want their money. I have now sent another email stating that I want production stopped and a refund for my purchase because im not going to cross my fingers and hope it gets here in time, and THEN the liability falls on me versus them for not producing the dress by the time frame I was originally told. I am EXTREMELY upset and as I look at the reviews here, I should have read them before going to GLL. Im running out of time and GLL is doing everything they can to get the dress out of their possession so they dont have to refund me. The email tone is the same. its not for me to have my best day, its for them to get the dress out of their factory "in 6-8 weeks prior to your wedding date and within our terms and conditions." This is extremely unprofessional and I asked for production stopped 11 days ago and they are speeding it up versus stopping so they meet their 6-8 week terms and conditions and not providing a refund. I am disappointed in the customer service for such an expensive gown. And I will continue to post feedback on social media platforms until this is fixed so other Brides do not have to have this added stress to their special days again. read more

If you have bigger boobs. Absolutely run. The attendant helping me even stated "we have nothing for you here" after very disappointingly trying on several dresses. The whole experience was Awful. We felt rushed, no connection, no fun, and absolutely worst of all, too much just waiting sitting around on them. Not ideal experience at all. They have very little selection out on the floor so I couldn't actually see or feel my choices, I felt limited and really like they have no selection beyond one kind of dress for a very specific body type. I would not recommend coming here. Experience was awful and not what you want when trying on a dress for your special day. read more
