From the moment we walked in the waiting area the office was so cute and more importantly clean! Ms. Shaughnessy got us checked in and was so sweet and professional. Ms. Mila brought us back and explained everything in detail to my husband and I. She prioritized making sure my daughter was comfortable and happy. Dr. Elle was such a breath of fresh air. She spent a lot of time with us asking questions and playing with our daughter before even trying to start the exam and cleaning. She was able to get the appointment done with very minimal tears and our girl walked out of the office smiling! She got us checked in quickly and helped put us at ease. My son needed to be sedated through an IV for his dental procedure due to his sensory needs, and as any special needs parent knows, that can be incredibly overwhelming. Dr. Paris was absolutely amazing. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answered all of my questions, and never once made me feel judged. Because of my son's sensory challenges, brushing his teeth has always been a struggle. Unfortunately, he needed eight crowns and three extractions**. As a parent, it's easy to feel like you've somehow failed your child in moments like these, but not one person on this team made me feel ashamed or uncomfortable. Instead, they treated us with compassion, understanding, and genuine kindness. After the procedure, Cindy, the recovery nurse, was equally incredible. I'm a single mom and didn't have anyone with me that day. She was so patient, caring, and even helped me get my son safely to the car. My previous dentist from North Decatur Dentistry ended up moving back to his hometown, so I had to…read morelook for another one as I had a chip in my tooth for a while that I've been neglecting. It's safe to say I found a great dentistry here. I was referred to this dentistry by my friend Fateemah, who knows the dentist at this practice, and also recommended her to my family as they preferred someone that spoke Spanish. My family said great things about the practice, so I decided to go for it. I called the office and was able to get an appointment very easily. I didn't know what exactly I needed done except for a cleaning, but the receptionist (sorry for not remembering your name) suggested for me to get X-rays taken, only if I knew when the last time it was done or if my insurance had records of it so that I knew it'd be covered by them. Luckily I had that information and knew it'd be covered. When I arrived, Nandi (spell check) was very sweet and professional when taking the X-rays, she made sure I was as comfortable as possible throughout the whole process. My cleaning was done by Jessica. Five stars just for the cleaning! She was very thorough with the cleaning, going the extra mile to explain what she was doing and informing me of things that can negatively affect one's oral health. She reminded me so much of Fateemah, as she too was thorough when she did my cleaning. Jessica gave me tips on what kind of ingredient to look for in toothpaste to ensure I take good care of my teeth. After the cleaning, I met with Dr. Febo-Cuello to discuss the X-rays taken. She gave me the bad news of cavities, but assured me it's not that major. She also was able to give me a referral to another doctor for an implant, as I never got around to getting one after my extraction. She gave me good news that the chipped tooth could be filled in instead of going straight for a root canal, so I was happy about that! I went to her again for the fillings and I gotta say it was painless! Once the procedure was done, she even told me of the slight possibility of needing a root canal, should I have sensitivity on one of the tooth she filled in, but again, reassured me that that shouldn't be the case. To summarize this essay, I can safely say I was recommended to a great practice. Dr. Febo-Cuello and her team are amazing and I appreciate the thoroughness they all exhibited during my visits. You know it's a good sign when your kids cheer about going to the dentist. We moved away from the area and started seeing another dentist and although that was a good office it just wasn't the same as Dr. Hogan's office; thus, we make the 35 minutes drive (in good traffic) back to Suwanee for her care. It is well worth it!
