There are numerous voids where the coating did not adhere to the pool shell. Those sections are now discolored, and calcium flakes are forming where air voids exist behind the coating. Best Florida Pool and Spas acid washed the surface earlier this year. This would have been an opportunity to identify the adhesion problem, but the issue was either not recognized or not communicated to me. Separately, Best Florida Pool and Spas installed a heater a few years ago that remains under warranty. The circuit board has failed. I have requested the purchase invoice needed to file a warranty claim, and they have not provided it. My recommendation to anyone considering this company: put a formal written contract in place before proceeding, so that you have clear documentation and legal recourse if problems arise.

My pool was remodeled about two years ago, and I have used Aaron's on several occasions to locate leaks. On 5/7/2026, their technician quickly located and repaired a plumbing leak with minimal disruption and no mess. Most recently, the technician returned and discovered a crack near my skimmer that extended vertically down into the pool shell. He explained that the repair would be a temporary patch and, importantly, provided referrals for contractors who could complete the permanent repair. This service call was also covered under the company's warranty from the previous repair on 5/7/2026, which I really appreciated. If you want a company that performs a thorough inspection, knows what they're doing, stands behind their work, and provides excellent customer service, I highly recommend Aaron's Leak Detection. Hands down, they are the company I trust for pool leak detection. Update 5/7/2026: Aaron's Leak Detection came out again after my pool remodel. Cody did a very thorough job, answered all of my questions, and successfully located my plumbing leak. I have used other leak detection companies in the past, and I have found that Aaron's provides much more value in actually locating and identifying the source of the leak. Update 2/28/2025: I spoke with Christian by phone about a possible leak after my pool remodel was completed in May 2024. He told me I could return it for store credit. When I came back today, I stood at the front of the store for several minutes without anyone acknowledging me. After repeatedly calling out for assistance, Joey finally came out. I explained the situation, showed him my receipt, and provided the filter. He immediately accused me of bringing in an old filter and repeatedly insisted it wasn't theirs, despite the receipt proving otherwise. A manager named Mary came out and confirmed that the filter was in fact sold by Leslie's, but she and Joey continued insisting it looked "years old." Of course it looked dirty--I had installed it in a dirty pool, and the entire reason I was returning it was because it caused my system to stop working. I explained that I had no reason to try to deceive anyone over a $56 filter, but instead of handling the situation professionally, Mary began yelling at me and even pointed her finger in my face. At that point, I started recording because the interaction had become hostile. She then told me to leave the store, even though I had been the one treated disrespectfully throughout the encounter. Eventually, they issued the store credit that another manager had already approved, but because of the chaos I wasn't even able to complete the rest of my business, including having my pool water tested and purchasing chlorine. I expect better customer service and professionalism, especially from management. Questioning a return is one thing, but yelling at customers and treating them as though they are dishonest is completely unacceptable.
