DELISH! Took my sons out for brunch around 12-1 on a beautiful Saturday and although the outside seating was full! The inside was still cozy. The staff were all super friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The little details like the glass water jugs and the overall decor was also super cute! Now on to the food! We ordered two grits bowls and a hash brown bowl! I customized mine with two egg whites, the house made pimento cheese, mushroom, kale, and onions. Sooo good and so fresh! I was also offered hot sauce which I couldn't pass up on. To my surprise it was also house made OHMYGOSHH! Love the freshness! LOVE this place - where has it been all my life? Stumbled across this Gracious Plenty on Yelp when a friend and I were trying to find a good halfway point for us to meet for brunch. It did NOT disappoint. Willingness to drive 30 minutes outside of the city should be enough of an indicator that it's good. After two times of going, I think we've crossed off half of the menu -the go-to is now the hashbrown bowl - which you can customize with different meats, eggs and add-ons (10/10 would recommend adding avo & mushrooms!). I DREAM of the hot sauce they give you on the side, probably need to buy a bottle to go next time I'm there. We've gone on both a Saturday and Sunday around 11:30/noon and have never had to wait for a seat, which is a plus! Plenty of parking located right in the back parking lot, making it super easy! I live in Roswell, and have been meaning to get here for quite some time. The reviews have been good as far as food goes, and it was just a matter of finding the right day - Thursday it is! So my wife and I planned to swing in for a late breakfast/brunch kind of thing and check out what the hype was about. We barely managed to find a parking spot at 11am on a Thursday, so be aware - that's apparently busy hour. Likewise, they're apparently very anal about people "saving seats" since they have very little seating. My wife tried to grab some bar seats while I ordered, but was chased down and told she couldn't do that - there were people in front of us that apparently were going to get those seats no matter what. Guys - I saw your sign in the front that said "no saving seats", but you could really do a way more effective job inside by just putting up a sign (not too hipster, I know) that says "Please wait to be seated". It's worked for decades. It'll work here. Bar usually doesn't apply, so... there. So about the food - it's fantastic. Really, their food is just killer, and I can't complain at all about the quality. I got a hash brown bowl, with cheddar, fried egg, and some bacon. All was amazing, although don't make the mistake of thinking this comes with a biscuit - there's no biscuit in the bowl option. K ordered a BLT biscuit, and it was amazing too - I ate some of her biscuit because I got no biscuit. Some homemade hot sauce and homemade blueberry lemon jam helped all of it. Killer. However - overpriced for sure. I'm sure you could argue "organic" and "farm to table" and "small business" and any number of other things. Still, two dollars for a bit of avocado is ridiculous. Our bill, over $25, was insane for what we got. Yeah, yeah, refills on coffee. It's still sort of ridiculous. Giving this 4 stars because the folks were delightful and the food was good. However, I'll never be a regular because I can go to Waffle House for a ton of food and refill coffee for less than $20, and I don't have to haggle for seating. Guys, you may appeal to mindless millennials for a while on this, but some of us are not going to be blindly paying these prices for a biscuit sandwich and some hash browns with an egg. read more

It honestly makes me sad to have to give just one star to a place we regularly eat. We normally order the hash brown bowls for breakfast but decided to venture outside the norm this morning and ordered the avocado toast and Bruce's plate for takeout and my husband and I were both beyond sorely disappointed. The avocado "toast" actually comes on a very thick piece of focaccia loaf with a standard side of greens. A) not even close to being worth the $12 charged for it and B) while the avocado spread tasted fine I definitely do not want a giant thick piece of bread in the morning for 'toast' (not even close). I've had an incredible avo toast at nicer places in Atlanta, Savannah and even Charleston for the SAME price that was twice the size and/or came with eggs on top or other veggies and was on an actual piece of toast. I'll never order that here again. But the real disappointment this time was the breakfast my husband received as Bruce's plate (for $11.50). Listed as 3 eggs, a piece of bacon, a piece of sausage, avocado and a biscuit, you'll see in the picture that what we received was more akin to a children's plate worth about $4. The piece of 'bacon' was no bigger than my pinky finger and even in the tiny takeout box this meal barely filled half. It's literally the smallest portion of food I've ever seen at that price. I've never even seen half a piece of bacon be as small as this piece was and I have to say that's a problem we've complained about even in the hasbrown bowls we frequently get. Food quality can't save you if you're ripping people off with what you give them. And lately the quality hasn't even made up for it. Looks like our weekly visits to Gracious Plenty are coming to an end. read more

The food is good but the service and unwillingness to substitute anything as they charge you another excessive fee is some of the worst service I've ever seen especially considering the prices. One bacon and egg biscuit is $11 or $14 with tax and tip. Save yourself a lot of money and get much better customer service and go to Biscuits and More or as the owner of Gracious Plenty suggested to me go to Chick Fil A when I requested NO CHEESE due to dietary issue during the drive thru time during Covid. Tried to give them another chance but when they told my husband he could not substitute grits for fruit but could add a bowl of grits on to a $15 breakfast plate.. just a bit ridiculous. Where to begin: we found this place on a whim. It's on Canton Street so it's in the middle of all that makes Roswell go, but it is tucked away enough that it feels a little intimate. But I had to be convinced initially to check this place out. Boy was I glad I did. Pick your poison, their brunch is insane. Their breakfast staples are insane. Their burger is the best in Roswell...deal with it Moxy. What really makes this place go however, isn't the amazing food, it's the folks behind the counter. The owners are husband and wife and they are rockstars. It's very evident they love what they do - food quality comes out consistent, and their staff clearly enjoys being there and supporting them. Wanna support a local Roswell establishment? This is your spot, and these are the people to support. But don't everyone come at once, it's not a huge place and lines already can get pretty large. I discovered this place yesterday after seeing it in the Atlanta Dining Out magazine. All I needed to hear was that they had a biscuit BLT and we decided we would go for breakfast the very next day. And I hate getting up early, so I must have been excited about it. I went directly to their actual website to look over the menu and check the hours. Everything looked good and they listed their opening time as 8 a.m. on Sunday. Drove 28 minutes there only to discover the restaurant closed at 9:30. I was the only car in the parking lot until the family pulled in and she walked to the front door to see a sign saying they were closed until the 9th of July. She was livid and she said she was on their website and found the same hours I found. I also called in the morning and their voicemail said they would be open at 8. I just don't understand how you could treat customers that way. Some random guy instantly replied to my check in photo claiming to be a big fan of the business, but I'd wager was someone affiliated with it trying to claim it was a fake picture of an empty parking lot and that they posted all over the place that they were closed. If you're going to post information anywhere, your actual freaking website would be the place to post it. Somebody really ought to be fired for that. read more

Finally got to try this place. It was just as good as my expectations! I had the smoked pork tamale. The tamale was moist and had just the perfect amount of sauce to where you actually can taste the tamale. My husband had the the classic biscuit, egg, cheese and bacon sandwich and said it was one of the best biscuits he has had . The place was packed but worth it.
