4-egg. omelette with goat cheese, peppers and mushrooms, plus a side salad.
    Carol K.

Met three friends here for a Saturday brunch/lunch, and I would definitely say the ambiance is the star attraction. Tucked upstairs (enter from Canton Street next to Roswell Provisions) you enter a dining room that must date back to the late 1800s. Parking cost $10 across street, and paying for parking was best option because the whole area which is lined with restaurants was an ant farm! The menu leans toward lunch items (all French-inspired) and there's a wide selection of cocktails. The quiche got rave reviews from our table. The omelettes are made with four eggs and massive. Mine was very good and paired nicely with a simple salad. The only thing standing in way of five stars is that the service was a bit less attentive that I would have liked. I ordered coffee and had to remind the server halfway through meal that I had not yet received it. It was pretty busy, so allowing her some grace on this. All-in-all - a good place for conversation. There's no loud music to compete with. Always appreciate that. The Canton Street area in Roswell is definitely worth exploring. All eateries that look amazing and Le Bistro is no exception.

This is one of my favorite places in downtown Roswell, and a favorite brunch spot overall. 100% recommend! So many vegetarian options and crepe selections! I typically order their goat cheese quiche and a side of ratatouille. Together it's a perfect portion. Took my mom and sister here for dessert once and also took my family here for lunch another time. Great salads and more! The coffee shop downstairs at Roswell provisions also serves great lattes.

La Crepe de Poulet et champignons

We decided to stop at Le Bistro for brunch on Sunday. The service was excellent, the building is awesome and has so much character and charm. The food seemed reasonably priced considering the area. However, after receiving the food, we were not very impressed. I had La Crepe de Poulet et champignons. The menu states the crepe has sautéed chicken, onions & mushrooms topped with béchamel sauce. Unfortunately the chicken tasted as if it were from a can, no flavor like one would expect if it were sautéed, plus the texture was like the chicken from a can. I was disappointed. It needed at minimum a bit more salt, but there were no salt shakers on the table. As for Le Croque Monsieur, it was good but nothing to write home about. On the bright side the Cream of Spinach soup was very good. Would we visit again? I would say yes, but it would be to try a dessert item and coffee. If the food matched the service and atmosphere, we would have given 5 stars.

My family and I opted to dine-in for brunch on a Sunday afternoon and there was no wait and ample seating. We were immediately greeted by our server and he was very friendly and helpful. The brunch menu consists of "create your own" crepes, omelettes, and Challah French toast with a variety of sides. I opted for the create your own omelette with Swiss cheese, spinach and mushrooms and it was delicious. I also got a side of bacon and it was deliciously cooked and a very generous portion. My family went with the omelette and Challah french toast. The French toast was so thick and rich, covered in fresh maple syrup and came with a side of cheesy hash--amazing! Definitely try the cheesy hash if you're here for brunch. Their menu offers an assortment of salads and sandwiches for lunch. The Croque Monsieur and French dip with roast beef are the most popular choices. 10/10!

French Onion soup and chicken salad sandwich

A cute place in downtown Roswell. We sat on the balcony overlooking the street and we enjoyed the view. A perfect spot for people watching. French Dip is my all-time favorite sandwich so I was excited to try it on a nice fresh baguette. Unfortunately, it didn't make my list of favorite versions of it. My daughter tried the au jus and said it had no flavor, just salty. She said Arby's is better! Although the meat on the sandwich was plenty, it was pretty flavorless and not super tender. Not bad, but nothing special, especially for the price. The French Onion soup was quite different than any I've had before - the broth was thick, almost creamy. Great flavor! The creamy spinach soup was also quite thick, almost like creamed spinach. Similar flavor, too. I really enjoyed it.

Bouche a la Reine with ratatouille

Cute, charming atmosphere in the restaurant on the 2nd floor with a terrace overlooking Canton Street. Our server was very professional, the food was good and it made for an enjoyable lunch date. The Bouche a la Reine was similar to chicken pot pie with a creamy sauce. It was very good but I would say the chicken tasted a little dry. The ratatouille was also very good. They have side rooms for private events and a bar.

Charcuterie board and French Dip Sandwich with Ratatouille soup ! Yummy

I am all about the ambience and great food ! This place is definitely giving me "french" vibes. The decor is french rustic I absolutely love it! I came for lunch with one of my girlfriends and she ordered the charcuterie board as a meal and had the "Other Whiskey" drink (she loved them both). I ordered the French Dip sandwich with my side a cup of ratatouille soup! I could have licked the bowl it was sooo good ! Everything is freshly made - we sat on the porch which was perfect ! When we walked in we were pleasantly surprised by the decor - you have to try this place and come ready to take instagram pics !

    Upstairs bistro croque Monsieur

I've been downstairs several times for coffee, bought bread. Today I went for lunch alone and decided to go upstairs to the bistro. It was empty except for one other table. The décor is lovely and I can't fault it. The service was great also and it always has been. The deserts downstairs have always been great also especially the truffles. Today's review is based solely on my lunch today and the taste. I ordered a croque Monsieur and it's my favourite sandwich in the world. I've eaten it all over the world and today's was the most disappointing and quite sickly. Tasteless and sickly and just a complete fail. I loved how it was served but even the salad was just not good. The menu in general looks great and the location is great but today was not worth the $25.00 I spent on one sandwich, an espresso and a bagette.

I've been several times and always enjoyed everything i've had. The restaurant has a lovely ambience, kind staff members, and the outdoor seating is homey and has a great view of downtown Roswell. My favorite thing to order is the jambon-beurre with tomato bisque. It's a simple concept but they pull it off so well. I would say the jambon-beurre is quite authentic in comparison to those I've had in France, and the tomato bisque is creamy and delicious. The strawberry shortcake is great as well. The attached store, Roswell Provisions has great coffee and desserts if you're in a rush. I definitely would recommend if you're in Roswell.

take the stairs up to restaurant and you feel as if you have been transported to an apartment on the Ill River in France with dinning on a balcony overlooking the street. The service was spot on and so was the food. My wife did mention the crepe was a little too thick, more like a pancake than crepe. My Flammekueche was a good interpretation. Never less, your tastebuds will thank you! la creme brulee and la mousse au chocolate were light and full of flavor. The strawberries added a nice spring touch to the creme brulee , while the raspberries were great compliment to fresh a whip cream and perfectly balanced chocolate mousse. enjoy

/TL;DR  All the charm of a Parisian cafe. /ATMOSPHERE  If you're familiar with Roswell Provisions, the stairway next door leads up to this interesting Roswell restaurant. The upper deck dining is very quaint and charming with views of the restaurant row. /FOOD  The ratatouille is hearty and delicious as was their salads and the classic croque. It's not exactly cheap here so prepare for a bit of sticker shock when you sit down. If you're not hear for the food, necessarily, grab some dessert and order up some coffee. It comes from the excellent coffee shop below. /SERVICE  No complaints. We were treated like royalty. ;-) HOW TO READ MY REVIEWS: 1 Star - Does not approach edible. Enter at your own risk. 2 Stars - If I'm in the area, I'd pick something else. 3 Stars - I would stop by if I happen to be in the area. 4 Stars - I would pick this place out of other places nearby. 5 Stars - I would go out of my way to dine here.

Chicken and mushroom crepe with the bechamel sauce....delicious

Delicious crepe. Amazing service and a really cool ambiance especially on the balcony.

Such style and grace under one little roof. The wait staff is very polite and attentive the moment you land inside. The seating space is French country chic and charming especially the swinging bench outdoors on the balcony deck overlooking the square. Along with the friendliness, the food is impeccable. Pierre was great all around. He made recommendations for food and even Roswell activities. I went with the Bailey Cream Cake. It's a shot of the coffee liqueur, cream cheese pound cake, and vanilla ice cream with a dollop of whipped cream. I added strawberries and chocolate drizzle (instead of caramel drizzle). The first bite was heavenly! I was floating through velvet clouds; it was merely joy in every bite. I returned weeks later for this very dessert and an hour d'oeuvr and entree. It was time and money well spent. The dill, horseradish sauce, and smoked salmon crostinis were flawless along with bouche a la reine, a puffed savory pastry that's reminiscent of a (fancy) pot pie with chunks of white chicken and tasty thick béchamel sauce. It was the highlight of my weekend. I'm anticipating the next visit.

    The $10 cheese board.

From what we…read morethought it would be, to what it actually was, the whole experience felt like it was set up to be a scam. We were sat inside, in the way back corner, farthest from the door and, in a 90-minute span, we killed at least 10 fruit flies/gnats between us. It's a nice place too that looks very clean, but they had the front door open the entire time. At first, I was trying to be subtle about it, but about halfway through, I was clapping my hands in the air and wiping bug guts on the white tablecloth. They may have been coming from the window next to me, but it was a little off-putting to say the least. The server did pick up on this, but didn't offer a different table or to at least close the front door. We didn't make a big deal about it, but by the time the wine bottle was open, we were shooing critters off our glasses regularly. Our server, who was clearly not French, kept calling us monsieur and madame and the accent was so forced, it became real cringe real fast. Please stop making the servers pretend they're French. And to be fair, our server was great, none of this was on them, but the fake French posturing HAS to be derided by the staff, so this complaint is for THEM. Unless they are a.) FROM France or b.) fluent IN French, native English is fine and preferred. This is not a place for improv and you wouldn't make an Olive Garden server speak like Mario and Luigi. Maybe our server was into it, but it became extremely painful as the dinner continued to go downhill. For entrees, I ordered the rib-eye (which includes comp refills) and SO ordered the filet. When the filet came out, it smelled loudly like a barnyard. After a few bites from each corner, it was sent back. The smell could only be compared to cow poop, and I honestly can't believe the kitchen sent it out. $64 filet and I wouldn't have given it to a stray dog. No aging on the filet also--just a bad piece of meat they tried to pawn off on a guest. My rib-eye was small (understanding with the whole "free refills" thing) and not steaming hot, but the filet's odor was a bigger problem when the plates hit the table, so I just went with it. SO couldn't/wouldn't order anything else and I don't blame them. The meat was clearly bad, and it resulted in some minor gastro issues the following day, even after just a few bites. The manager did come to the table to apologize and offered a replacement, but SO was uninterested. Going back to my entree, the "frites" that came with my ribeye were a frozen product: those battered/orange fries you get from the drive-thru at Checkers. Gross and disappointing and this is where I felt like I was being scammed. I think they claim somewhere "twice fried in beef tallow" but I know a fast-food-style fry when I taste it/see it. Also, the plate presentation was just the ribeye and fries. No garlic aioli, no ketchup, no parsley, no lemon, no garnish. Chef clearly doesn't know the 3-color rule and considering the size of the cut, it looked like something you'd get at a diner with fried eggs (and the entree has a $59 price tag also). The refill was hotter and closer to medium, and I enjoyed it more than the first one, but I wasn't risking a third helping and didn't want to have to wait anyway with my SO sitting there with nothing in front of them. Ultimately, we grinned through all of it and stayed for dessert. How hard can that be? Well, the creme brûlée was either over-whipped or too eggy. More like a flan. Not awful, but it's didn't help the dinner at that point and it was the only item the SO was interested in after the filet debacle and it was just ok. You'd think the brûlée at a French bistro would knock your socks off, right? It was meh. I followed up with a call to the restaurant and left a message to speak with the manager who touched our table regarding the filet. Not looking for a refund and you couldn't pay me to revisit, but he should know that there were multiple failings that night, not just their attempt to sell spoiled meat.
