Although I'm sad my graduation ceremony is postponed until next year, I'm very happy to have received such a beautifully well-made lei by Kim. The amount of detail she puts into these leis really shows how passionate she is about providing her customers with the best quality and style. The pattern of the ribbon shown in my picture is very unique and intricate. The dollar bills are folded very well. The lettering is also sturdy and clean. I love that there's so much room for customization. The process of ordering her leis also couldn't be any simpler. She uses Google Forms to accept orders so the process is just going through a list of very straightforward questions. You can tell she put a lot of time into developing a user-friendly order form that makes it as easy as possible for the customer to understand what they will be ordering. I especially enjoy her use of Google Forms because my family members who aren't as tech-savvy had no issues navigating the order process. Kim has many styles of leis as seen on her Facebook and Instagram pages. I recommend checking out her social media pages often to see all of the possible options you can choose from. It seems like she's always experimenting with new and unique styles to make sure her customers stand out on their special day. On top of everything, Kim is wonderful to work with. I am so glad I found Kim's yelp page for her money leis. I placed a last minute order ON THE DAY OF my boyfriend's graduation, because I was planning on making one on my own but I underestimated the time it would take to learn how to make it and buy materials. I didn't want to buy a regular flower lei so I took my chances upon Yelp to find something more special at around noon on a Saturday during graduation season and I am so glad I did when I found this. Kim's service definitely saved me and I appreciate the beautiful lei she made especially in such short notice!! I paid around $40 which includes the rush fee and money butterflies on it and she prepared it within 2 hours for pickup. I loved how the ribbons were in the school's colors and the butterflies looked great on either a guy or girl. I recommend this place if you want something different than a traditional flower lei, especially since it stands out on the graduate. read more

Good for last minute! If you're a last minute person like me, you can definitely count on Kim! She caters to exactly what you want even on short notice. She does charge a late fee but that is understandable. The payment method she has available is Venmo. Once you send your payment through Venmo, she will start on your lei and will send you a picture of the finished product after. History

Established in 2017.

Kim's Creation was created because of my love for crafts and also the joy that comes from doing what I love. When both of my kids graduated from high school I wanted to make each of them a money lei so they can keep it as a memory. I felt it would be something special that they can always cherish since it was made by me. I had several people tell me how much they liked them and for me to make one for their kids so this is how Kim's Creation was created. I enjoy making crafts and want to share my work It's wonderful to see that others have also appreciated my work and have encouraged me to share it with a wider audience.

The shop also offers crochet flowers so customers can put together their own bouquets ($10 or $15 depending on which flower). We had a view of the refrigerator case with the most gorgeous huge roses and other beautiful flowers. There are other fun things to buy in the shop if you need a gift. The lady who helped us was super sweet and brought us some tea leaves of popular teas so that we could smell them to help decide on what teas we wanted to enjoy with our tea service. I ultimately decided on getting the chicken pesto sandwich with salad, blueberry scone, chocolate chip cookie, and the California Persian tea (hot). My friend got the chicken salad sandwich with salad, classic scone, lemon bar, and earl grey creme tea (hot). The first things to come out were our tea pots. We were given tea timers so that we could take out our tea bags when time was up depending on how strong we wanted our tea, but I normally just leave my tea in the pot to brew forever and just refill with hot water (I'm so Asian). I did noticed that we were not provided with milk or sugar for our teas like at other tea places, but I was fine with that because I normally drink my tea plain. Maybe they provide it upon request but I didn't ask. My friend and I shared our tea items so that we could taste a bit of everything and it was all great! Both sandwiches were good, both flavors of scones had a tender crumb and were great with the cream and house made jam that came with it. My cookie reminded me so much of the Levain chocolate chip walnut cookie - soo good!!! The lemon bar was also perfectly tart and sweet. If you don't want a tea experience, don't worry, this is honestly a full service cafe and there are other items you can order like salads, sandwiches, flatbreads and even chicken pot pie! There's even a full coffee and matcha menu with so many different varieties of yummy looking drinks like Rose Espresso Latte, or Cloud Matcha Coconut! Who would've thunk in a little flower shop!?!? With so many Art and articles and just Hawaiian fun things/souvenirs, I was shown by Arlene behind the counter, a "Cook Street" Hawaiian print shirt of great value that for sure will fit me. It was a real pleasure to have visited Konishi Plumeria and I know we will return. Hmmm, good to know that Konishi Island Fair is on 28th September.
