It is served on warm onion bread with roast beef, turkey and ham, with a side of ruffles chips! Been eating this for roughly 30 years. The pizza is awesome too. We always go for the meat lovers sub the Canadian bacon with extra Italian sausage. Yes, yes y'all! Service is always pleasant and speedy! Yes yes and yes! This place has been around for YEARS !!! I have to get a pizza or grinder when I'm in town. I always go for the meat lovers if I have pizza. I have been going to Grady's for years because they have great pizza. But after today I am contemplating on returning. I first ordered a large meat lovers pizza. After driving home (25 mins) I opened the box and ate a slice. The pizza was very doughy and not even fully cooked through. The toppings were sliding off and it did not taste good and hot. I called and told them what happened and they allowed me to come back to get another pizza while bringing back the last one as proof. Once I received the second pizza and went home, the same thing occurred again. I don't know who they have back there cooking these pizzas but they are NOT FULLY COOKING THE PIZZAS! read more

Rating: 5 Stars As a St. Louis resident, dental educator, and gooey butter cake lover, I know a thing or two about a great St. Louis Gooey Butter Cake. One of my students--thanks SDr. Morris--knows that I eat this on the regular, and he was kind enough to bring me back two slices of this excellent gooey butter cake from his recent trip to his hometown, Little Rock. Let me start by saying that I hate this place but for all the right reasons. I have blood work tomorrow--including blood glucose--so I wanted to avoid all baked goods today. Sadly, the second I decide to just take a small bite of the St. Louis Gooey Butter Cake slide and Brownie St. Louis Gooey butter cake slice, I was UNFORTUNATELY hooked and had to finish both. Naturally, this is a major party foul with impending blood work in the morning, but I don't care. The two varieties of St. Louis gooey butter cake were that good. Perfect texture, perfect sweetness, and just plain perfect. While the St. Louis Gooey Butter Cake was amazing, it was topped by the Brownie St. Louis Gooey Butter Cake. This was one of the best desserts that I have ever eaten. The brownie component complemented the gooey butter cake component so well, and the chocolate was not overpowering. If you are from St. Louis or eastern Missouri, you have to try this version of gooey butter cake if you are in Little Rock. If you have never heard of gooey butter cake, you must try this amazing dessert. You will love it! read more

We love their pizza. If you have never gone to their place, it is on 12th/Kanis Rd. The building looks like a "hole in the wall" place. Don't let that bother you, it is a clean place. I have eaten about everything on the menu except green peppers. The customer service is wonderful! read more

TL;DR Review: Kind of a dive, but GREAT food/service. I see some reviews knocking the service but that wasn't my experience at all. We didn't want for anything (except apparently they keep silverware under lock and key?) and our server was friendly but not intrusive or overly conversational. She wasn't conversational at all. I like that in a server. The food was fantastic. I think probably better than the other stand-alone local pizza restaurants in the area. I had the muffuletta and it was great, but I wish I'd have gotten pizza after I tasted the kids' pizza (ham and pineapple). My wife had one of their salads and raved about it. I do have a little gripe about the sandwich: it got soggy. Usually a muffuletta is served on Sicilian sesame bread (called "muffuletta"), which is where the sandwich got its name. This sandwich wasn't on that bread, and it got soggy by the time I got to the second half. I wouldn't order that sandwich again but the pizza was *so* good. They have cold beer too. Man, they're not lying, the service is tough here. It's kind of a divey atmosphere (hot water leaked on me from the ceiling) but at least dive bars care weather or not you're sitting with an empty glass of beer. The beer selection is limited to the bare basic domestic light fare. Hey if that's what you like, you'll love the beer list. The thing is, the food is legit. Toasted raviolis were crunchy and pouring out ooey gooey delicious cheese. Wings were cooked perfect and damn the grinder is a helluva sandwich on warm onion bread. Pizza is super good, sort of like US Pizza but with some interesting spins on the recipes. It's great bar food but I don't think the servers give much of a shit. They have their regulars which keep the lights on. I'd still say give it a shot, they really do have some tasty grub. read more

After reading some of the reviews, family decided on take out from Grady's. Ordered Club Salad with dressing on the side. No dressing. Ordered chili mac (standard is chili over macaroni, this was spaghetti which would have been okay if it had not been cold and swimming in pasta water). The chili mac was to come with a side salad with blue cheese dressing. Didn't get that either. And the "homemade" chips that came with the muffuletta were Lays! Won't order take out again and won't bother going there. Bet this one doesn't last. Pretty tolerant but this was awful. read more

Our family held a mini-reunion for our daughter at Grady's. We order three large pizzas and several salads and beverages for around $90. Grady's allowed us the use of their side room which easily fits larger groups of about 40. Even though the restaurant was busy with takeout orders, we received good service and well timed food and drinks. (Personally, if they were truly a 2-star place as someone earlier rated them, they wouldn't be so busy on a mid-week night. They're popular for a reason.) Tuesday is also senior discount night and per the front door the discount is 25%. read more

Grady's turned out to be nothing more than a very slow a lackluster dining experience, both times. I had to try this place twice before I could write an honest review. My coworkers really talked this place up. Well, their mufaletta has much to be desired and is actually very bland and not satisfying if you are looking for a REAL mufaletta. The potato salad was just a cold, flavorless blob... the service is very slow. After my first experience, some other co workers said I have to try the pizza and I agreed to give it another go. They called the order in 30 minutes early to make sure we got it in time to eat there. Well, as expected the pizza took an additional 30 minutes to get to our table. It was just okay. The hambuger/meat product tasted like typical vendor fare and really threw the pizza off. Overall, not worth the time for pretty low end food. read more

Do not ever eat here! If you have allergies of any kind, don't ask for them to be removed from your food because there is a reasonable expectation that you will have to pick each of these things, individually, off of your food. And then, when you call management to explain that you paid for something to not be on your food and it is there, it will be treated like an inconvenience to them. It doesn't matter whether or not you have food allergies, according to the owner, a very sassy individual who answered the phone, It only matters that you called to complain and you will be asked never to dine there again as opposed to, I don't know, being considerate of the fact that you have an allergy. Although Grady's may not be in the best neighborhood, I love this pizza place. The pizzas are fantastic and priced well. The service is also quite pleasant. It's personally my favorite local pizza joint (but then again I'm biased living down the street). This place doesn't try to do anything too fancy...the pizzas are just plain good. If anything, the salads and desserts could use some work...but then again, who goes to a pizza place for salad? not me... Oh, and if you're a fan of beer, they do sell beer by the pitcher as well as have chilled mugs available. Switching out to a new glass after ever refill is also an option they don't mind. Hung up and called back, the next person, was very rude, said I was being difficult and I needed to hurry up, I informed him I was a new customer and was wanting to inquire about the menu items. Even though he was not pleasant, I ordered against better judgement. Sent my daughter for the pickup, and the same rude man who took my order stated there was no order ever called in for that name. He finally found my order ticket, which he never turned in to the kitchen, stated in front of my daughter, "oh yeah that was the crazy lady." Needless to say I told my daughter to leave. i've been eating at this location over 7 years & today i recieved the worst customer. i stood at the counter waiting to be greeted while to making eye contact with two employees that thought it was better to fidget with to go bags. idk if it was prejudice or ignorance but they will never receive any of my dollars again. ill go to us pizza where they greet their customers. theres a problem in america where white tend to not see black people and that was confirmed today. i know if i were white i would have atleast gotten a hello and i was the only customer at the counter. very sad and disheartening because i enjoyed there food. never again! read more

Do not eat here. Our food took a hour and a half and we were the only people eating. The servers response was it was only his second day and only two people were working. No one got salads before their meal. I ordered a Mediterranean salad and most of the lettuce was wilted. The pizza and pasta is decent but you will have to wait a hour to get it. read more

Stevie's favorite cheese has been a favorite of mine for years, and the last time I was there they told me the ingredients for the cheese blend (but not the ratios). Overall, this is a great little casual pizza place with reasonable prices, and it has been a local favorite for decades. read more

Hadnt been here for probably 20 years, UNTIL today. It was all i had remembered. Got the muffaletta and it was the bomb. That onion bun is tasty and its stuffed with all that makes for a good one. I got the chips with it which they make themselves and they're super good. Friend got the pizza and gave it rave reviews. Waitress was super friendly and very efficeient. The service is terrible. The staff is incredibly rude to customers. We tried several times and had many issues ranging from sitting at a table fifteen minutes before a server took our drink order to it taking forty-five minutes to get a bowl of lettuce to being unable to get a refill on a drink. This used to be a every week family favorite. I ordered a chef salad to go, it was nothing like it use to be, even the ranch dressing was different and it was almost $10. Went back the next week ordered calzones and they were both made incorrectly, sent one on them back and after waiting almost an hour (and business was slow) it was still wrong.
