The slices of pizza are not even fully cooked. They are doughy and the toppings were sliding off.

I have been going to Grady's for years because they have great pizza. But after today I am contemplating on returning. I first ordered a large meat lovers pizza. After driving home (25 mins) I opened the box and ate a slice. The pizza was very doughy and not even fully cooked through. The toppings were sliding off and it did not taste good and hot. I called and told them what happened and they allowed me to come back to get another pizza while bringing back the last one as proof. Once I received the second pizza and went home, the same thing occurred again. I don't know who they have back there cooking these pizzas but they are NOT FULLY COOKING THE PIZZAS!

This is our favorite Pizza from Grady's.

We love their pizza. If you have never gone to their place, it is on 12th/Kanis Rd. The building looks like a "hole in the wall" place. Don't let that bother you, it is a clean place. I have eaten about everything on the menu except green peppers. The customer service is wonderful!

Slice of Brownie St. Louis Gooey Butter Cake!

Rating: 5 Stars As a St. Louis resident, dental educator, and gooey butter cake lover, I know a thing or two about a great St. Louis Gooey Butter Cake. One of my students--thanks SDr. Morris--knows that I eat this on the regular, and he was kind enough to bring me back two slices of this excellent gooey butter cake from his recent trip to his hometown, Little Rock. Let me start by saying that I hate this place but for all the right reasons. I have blood work tomorrow--including blood glucose--so I wanted to avoid all baked goods today. Sadly, the second I decide to just take a small bite of the St. Louis Gooey Butter Cake slide and Brownie St. Louis Gooey butter cake slice, I was UNFORTUNATELY hooked and had to finish both. Naturally, this is a major party foul with impending blood work in the morning, but I don't care. The two varieties of St. Louis gooey butter cake were that good. Perfect texture, perfect sweetness, and just plain perfect. While the St. Louis Gooey Butter Cake was amazing, it was topped by the Brownie St. Louis Gooey Butter Cake. This was one of the best desserts that I have ever eaten. The brownie component complemented the gooey butter cake component so well, and the chocolate was not overpowering. If you are from St. Louis or eastern Missouri, you have to try this version of gooey butter cake if you are in Little Rock. If you have never heard of gooey butter cake, you must try this amazing dessert. You will love it!

Always love the pizza but the hidden gem are the meatballs. To die for and often get them to go as well.

We started with the beef carpaccio which was a very generous portion and great...probably the best value I've ever seen for that dish! Next time we'd order without the tomatoes on top (kinda seemed like canned, crushed tomatoes and not a traditional part of the dish), but it was a great start to the meal! Then my husband got the pappardelle bolognese, and I ordered the pork chop. We probably should have known not to order pasta after seeing their version of "carbonara"...penne instead of spaghetti, peas, cream, AND chicken on top...my Italian husband was getting hives just reading it. The bolognese had huge chunks of undercooked onions and just wasn't a traditional bolognese at all. The pork chop was fine, but kind of dry even though I ordered medium and with no char on the outside. The Brussels sprouts as the side veggie were good. If we go back, we'll just get a bunch of carpaccio!

As with almost all my races, I wanted pasta the night before (Cabo load ) and Capeo was very close to my hotel. I was in a t-shirt and running shorts so I stopped by to order the food to go (website wouldn't let me do a web-based pick-up but no biggie). I sat at the bar (and saw a couple people in jeans so I probably didn't need to worry). I ordered the linguini with seafood. It came out fairly quick. The chef saw me and actually asked about my shirt (it is an ultramarathon called Barkley and I explained rat jaw and rat bites to him). I brought the food back to my hotel room (thankful the bartender asked me if I wanted utensils). Came with some bread that had really good flavor. The linguini was cooked perfectly - still a little al dente). The seafood broth was excellent and it had a lot of seafood (2 or 3 shrimp , 5 clams , and 2 mussels). Flavor was excellent even though it was take out. Because of the race I wasn't drinking but the bar had quite a selection of spirited (and I saw plenty of bottles of wine around.) Atmosphere was nice and I found free parking less than a block away (saved my legs for the marathon).
