The location is great, especially after a walk across the big dam bridge or a run near the river. There is almost always convenient parking available also. Seating options on the patio when the weather permits is our favorite option although they have booth and table options inside The service is prompt and super friendly every time we have been there. We love the food. Reliably consistent, the pizza tastes the same every time we order it so no surprises. Several options to choose from including sandwiches, Italian options, salads and of course the fresh oven baked pizzas which is our favorite option. Every now and then you stumble upon a restaurant and you don't know what to expect. This is how I felt going to The Pizza Cafe. It is smaller than I expected BUT the food was quite tasty. You get all the flavors in every bite! I would have ordered a full size pizza but the bake time is between 20-30 minutes and would have take my entire lunch break. You also have the option to dine on the patio. The only reason this gets a 4 star rating is because there seemed to have only been one server and it got very busy so getting prompt service was a bit slow on that day. Passing through Little Rock, we decided to eat pizza for lunch. We found a gem The Pizza Cafe. Staff are very friendly, service is fast and we loved the food. My husband said the pizza was so good because of the good cheese they used, not just the usual mozzarella. We also shared a Freaks & Greeks salad. It was great and the salad dressing was excellent. It had a lemon base and was just right for the salad with all the veggies, olives and feta cheese. Next time we pass through Little Rock we'll definitely eat there again. read more

This used to be one of my favorite pizza places in town. Recently, the wheels have fallen off. The waitstaff is very unfriendly. While waiting for my takeout pizza at the bar, I heard one of the servers disparaging the customers - it wasn't about them being rude to her... she was making fun of the way the people were sitting in the booth. Seriously? Also, the gentleman who answers the phone for takeout shouldn't be dealing with customers. Incredibly rude. Pizza is mediocre at best. I live in Seattle now, but there was a time when I was living in Little Rock and this was a must go place for pizza, beer and a salad. So comfortable to be in the booth and drinking a Bud Lite relaxing enjoying the moment. This place makes me homesick for Little Rock and hasn't really changed. Every time I crave pizza it is Pizza. Cafe. Pizza. I grew up coming to this restaurant, a worn down super chill little pizza spot nestled close to downtown Little Rock. Not only is their pizza fantastic, but they have great beer on tap and salads that (to me) are out of this world. When making their crust they use honey and then give you packets of honey to eat the crust with. Possibly the best tasting thing on this entire planet. TRY IT and you'll have a great time. read more

Every time I come here I like it more. Great patio! Good pizza, fast service, good beer selection (and it comes in big, proper, glass frosted mugs!) The river is just a short jaunt away too, if you want to pop over before or after pizza. The patio also is sturdy fiberglass, so if you come in during the rain you get to listen to the sweet pitter-patter of raindrops. Definitely a good hangout spot for a rowdy group - when it's nice enough to be outside, the patio is great, but the indoor space is small and far less comfortable. Honey with the crusts is the unique feature of this hole in the wall pizza place - I never thought to do that until they served it with honey packets starting over a decade ago. Great thin crust, crispy on the outside, and good quality cheese. Craft beers available here too, most often I seem to get something from Boulevard brewing. At lunch, you can get pizza by the slice, and my favorite lunch is a slice of pepperoni and a side Caesar salad. (If I'm not working, I might add a beer...) This is not a trendy, upscale establishment, but a fun little pizzeria with a definite neighborhood feel that is clearly locally owned. You can sit inside or outside on a covered patio. The chicken Alfredo pizza is the best I have ever had and my kids looooved it!! I went to Pizza Cafe for the first time on St. Patrick's Day. It wasn't busy and was able to grab a nice table on the patio. My friends and I ordered the Meat Lovers thin-crust pizza to share, which was enough for us 4. my friends really enjoyed the pizza, but I was not a huge fan. I acknowledge that the pizza was fresh, but I personally wasn't crazy about it. the waiter was nice, but service was extremely slow, which was surprising since it was pretty empty. my friends and I also enjoyed Lagunitas beer and Stella Artois cider (the only cider they serve). we were a little disappointed that they did not offer pitchers of beer. If Yelp allowed half stars, then I would rate it 2.5 stars. read more

Solid Casual Option. The pizza cafe food is good and reliable, but not exceptional. Its a simple place - and they are happy to tailor their pizzas to meet your needs, but the service isn't fantastic. Don't judge, I'm from Louisiana. We drink during breakfast. Anyway, ordered cheese bread/sticks and a slice of pizza. Had to save room for my beer.
