My husband most likely ordered something vanilla. I was too engrossed in my own selection to even notice. It's nice sitting out by the fountain outside if it isn't too warm. I have been watching the forecast today, July 1, 2026, and your ice cream would melt in two seconds. Just stay inside to eat it this week. This place is amazing!! My friends and I came in during a weekday in the middle of the day so it was pretty dead. The weather had also just turned cold but here we were wanting ice cream. We came in and both employees behind the counter were SUPER helpful and so ecstatic! They offered us as many samples as we requested, they engaged with my infant daughter, and really just seemed so cheerful overall. The ice cream is great as well there are so many options you can do. You can also just turn one of those flavors into a milkshake or sundae, have a smoothie, or get a classic like a banana split. There is plenty of space with available seating as well. I was really excited to come to Graeter's because I've heard so many good things about it, but it was a pretty mixed bag. I really like the ambience of the spot because there's a really nice fountain and benches outside that are great to sit around and enjoy your ice cream and the shop itself is very quaint and clean. As far as the flavors go by far my favorite of the one I tried is s'mores. Usually my go to is graham central so I had to get the closest to that. I thought that was really good and definitely recommend it. The other two flavors I tried were the watermelon and the black raspberry. The watermelon was not good at all imo. I would not recommend. The black raspberry was pretty good however, but not as good as the s'mores. Overall, a good ice cream place, but not my favorite by any means. read more

If I am ever in the mood for ice cream, I go to Graeter's ice cream in Carmel. They have a great selection of flavors. I ordered the black Raspberry chocolate chip wheele and the vanilla chocolate chip wheele as a treat to myself from Uber Eats. I have gone to the store in Carmel in the past, and it has always been a wonderful experience. It smells heavenly like an ice cream shop should be, and the staff are wonderful and very accommodating. They are willing to assist you with anything you need from the shop. You can try samples of ice cream from the shop, but only limited amount from what I recall from my last visit. The salted Caramel is excellent and the variety of chocolate chip flavors are divine!! The ice cream shop is definitely a big hit during the spring/summer season when the weather is good, so I look forward to visiting the shop when spring arrives. We all scream for ice cream as the saying goes, and Graeter's ice cream is certainly no exception!! The wheeles are fantastic and you cannot go wrong with the ice cream. My only defense is: I'm not an ice cream fanatic and I've been away from Carmel for a very, very long time. Graeter's is welcoming and inviting, as are its employees and its ambience. For me, though, the ice cream is overtly creamy and rich - sometimes just too much for a pleasant summer day. I've heard that the fruit flavors are amazing, with black raspberry chocolate chip topping the list. I tasted my friend's order and was pleasantly surprised: the fruit, while dominant, is not overwhelming. My mistake must have been ordering more basic flavors as I usually steer towards cookies 'n cream, vanilla, cake batter, and cheesecake as my flavor palate. If you grew up on chain ice cream and prefer custard or frozen yogurt, this might not be what you're looking for. Then again, this might just hit the spot for you! read more

I went after work during the week and it wasn't very busy so I had a short wait. The ice cream was great - this was my first time having Graeter's. There is parking on the street out front but it was full. It took me a few minutes to find a place to park elsewhere and ended up having to walk but it was a gorgeous day and I didn't have to walk far. Next visit I will make sure I pay better attention to the parking out front. The woman working the counter was very friendly also! I will definitely be going back! read more
