    Custom color unicorn cake

I was a long timer stalker of Lesley's Cakes on Facebook before I finally drove to Eagle River to taste some of her goodies. The lemon bars are ON POINT and are by far my favorite item. The cream puffs are delicious and are especially good with the fresh berries. It's wonderful homemade whipped cream with a touch of sweetness. She does sell out of these quickly and they aren't made every day I don't think. For my birthday my family surprised me with a unicorn cake with red velvet cake inside. So good. Beautiful smooth frosting. The little girl inside of me was giddy. I've also called and asked for her to make a dessert box for Mother's Day with a budget in mind and she came through! Brownies are also one of her most popular and while I've never had one, my family has loved them. She does several varieties including a paleo brownie if I recall. She's very good about posting the brownie variety on Facebook daily so you can know when they're hot out of oven! She does quick carry cakes, custom cakes, cupcakes, brownies, lemon bars, cream puffs, summer stacks, eclairs, and sooo much more. Support local. Support DELICIOUS!

Nice little cup cake place in town!! I enjoyed the variety of flavor options and decorations. I wish there was more gluten free options of different flavors besides "chocolate" and "white". Good stop for desserts nearby the house. Will try some cookies next time.

Food over priced and empty display case. Only sold left over slices bundled with a mini cup cake for $15 a slice. Flavor is average.

Delicious desserts!! We were in the 5th Ave Mall and stopped by for some sweet treats. The…read morechocolate pecan bar was DELICIOUS! I can't wait to go back for another one. The chocolate chip cookie sandwich was also very yummy. It had chocolate buttercream in between 2 big cookies. Very tasty! We will be back!

To be honest, the cake wasn't all that pretty to begin with but it got worse as the day went on and it thawed out more. Picked up my cake around 4pm and by 7pm it was a tilted Mad Hatter cake. I assure you, it was not damaged during transport. When we cut into the cake to serve slices, an entire chunk of cake was missing from the bottom tier and "spackled in" with frosting. This caused the cake to collapse and the top tier slid off to one side. There was also no dowel support between to the top and bottom tiers. Just a cardboard round which slid on top of the buttercream. That probably would have been ok if it weren't for the missing chunk of cake. People asked me if I made the cake myself. Hahaha. It was pretty embarrassing. But luckily this was for a very casual elopement, not a big wedding, otherwise I would have been pretty pissed. My parents did pay a decent amount of money for this, roughly $275. I've seen far better from Walmart's bakery. The shop got stars for the following... Cake flavor: very good! I ordered the champagne cake with strawberry filling for the bottom tier and chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling for the top tier. All covered in white chocolate buttercream frosting. The cake and fillings were delicious. The frosting was a little gritty, I assume from using granulated sugar, but still tasty. A little too sweet for my liking but it was still good. The cake layers were nice and thick. Customer service: Great! Response time from the shop was excellent. They promptly responded to my emails on the quote and design request. I called the shop when it was about time to pick up my cake and didn't reach anyone at first, but they called me right back. I guess I could have called the shop to let them know the issues with the cake but I have a feeling once the cake leaves their shop in good condition, they would put the blame on the customer. I just won't use them again, for cakes anyways. Anyways, thanks for reading and check out my Mad Hatter cake.

Each tart had its own unique flavor, perfectly balanced and not too sweet, which made it way too easy to keep reaching for another. The chocolate raspberry cake was a standout--rich, moist, and layered with just the right amount of tartness from the raspberry filling. What really surprised me was how satisfying everything tasted without feeling heavy or overly sweetened--and even better, it didn't spike my blood sugar the way most desserts do. You can tell there's intention behind the ingredients and how everything is made. They also have plenty of other baked goods like cookies, brownies, and more, so there's definitely something for everyone. The staff are friendly, and the bakery itself is so cute--such a welcoming little spot that makes the experience even better. If you're looking for treats that feel a little more thoughtful but still indulgent, this spot is definitely worth checking out.
