Probably the worst experience I have ever had at a local restaurant. I ordeeed 20 wings and a fish basket. Believe it or not the fish was descent but the wings were over cooked and dry as the desert. Came here on recommendation of good Gyros, and yes indeed they are! I ordered the regular Gyro with a side of fried mushrooms for take out. The Gyro was huge, generous portion of meat, with fresh tomatoes, onions, and really good tzatziki sauce. Pita nicely toasted. The mushrooms weren't greasy, has good flavor and a thick coating. I ordered a hoagie from this restaurant for my 6 year old daughter. When I received it, it looked as if it was dropped and slapped back together. All of the toppings were gone and it was burned. (I posted a photo on here) I sent them a photo via Facebook and let them know that I didn't want my money back or anything, just wanted to let them Know what was coming out of the kitchen. Because things happen. My mother called and tried to have food delivered to her home yesterday and was told that she was placed on the "do not deliver list" because I had complained about the food that I had delivered to her home. So I asked that I speak with the owner. I received a phone call from the owner just now. As I'm explaining what happened with my order, she stops me and says she is going to be "straight up" with me. She has not been at the restaurant really for a year or so and her employees have been running it. She said that "it has actually been MUCH better since she's been gone because she "can't handle the stress and doesn't need this DRAMA" wait, what??? Drama? I'm a CUSTOMER who had a complaint about my food one time since I've been ordering food from this restaurant since I was a child! She went on to ramble about how "her restaurant is the cleanest in clermont county, they have plaques everywhere" and if I'm not happy with my food, then I should no longer order from there. Ummmmm okay? She also says that I "have to look at it from her perspective, her kids work there.. So I'm complaining about her kids" Unmm your running a business! I would give the pizza and salads (especially the greek dressing...Y.U.M.) - a Clermont County staple- a 5. I would give the service when I eat in at lunchtime a 3 (maybe even a 2.5). While the actual serving staff is pleasant enough, it takes FOREVER, drink refills are hard to come by and in general, it's really hard to make it happen within a lunch hour time frame.The service when I take the food to go is a 5, which is what my coworkers and I have resorted to (and is going much more smoothly than the eat-in option). So, I went with a 4. Make sense? . The owners are very passionate about their food and it shows. I've seen them, on more than one occasion, get fired up when an order isn't correct, there is a complaint, etc. However, part of my issue is that while I've seen their passion, nothing much regarding the service has changed. So, again, picking your food up is a really good option. Maybe a leisurely Friday night where I had plenty of time to spend might make me think differently about eating in, but for now, I'll call ahead and enjoy my food in my office. read more

I have purchased food from the Withamsville and Milford location at least once a week for a decade.Gyro pizzas,gyros,and many "large,1 topping lunch specials".I live in Batavia,and recently ordered the 1 item large special.I was asked if I wanted the special or the regular,which niether Withamsville nor Milford have ever asked me.I chose the special as always.As I was cashing out,I asked the lady what the difference was?She stated the special has less pepperoni. The pizza not only has less pepperoni,it was more thin,less sauce,less cheese and the topping is on the cheese,rather than under as it usually is.It did not taste bad,but I will never eat at the Batavia location again.I can pay half the price and get more from Little Ceasers.See Angelo at Withamsville or Gus in Milford for the real Grammas experience.See Batavia Grammas if you want cheated. read more

My husband and I stop here for lunch whenever we are in the area. It is the cleanest grammas around and great food and service.

I had the pleasure of sampling some of their cheesy delights. I recommend the Greek. The other pizzas that we had ranged from, "Would you like pizza for all that meat?" to the veggie. The big salad that came with it was nothing special so I'd skip that. I'm not in this part of town often, but for next time, at least I know where I can get my pizza fix. read more

After a long morning of running errands we pulled into the neighboring UDF for a quick gas up. The wife and I realized that it was a little past lunchtime and we hadn't fed the kids yet (talk about Parent Fail) and glancing over I noticed Grammas. Having driven by it a number of times , and always making a mental note to stop in for a visit but always putting it off, I suggested to the wife that we head on in. Wife seemed to like the plan, so in we went. Now before I begin, I have to admit that I had heard a great deal about this place from friends and acquaintances. And based on what I had been told I knew this was not going to be an authentic, gourmet Italian experience. I expected quick, easy, Americanzied-Italian, a greasy -spoon version that the kids would love, while those with more of a fine-dining taste, or those who are snobs when it comes to Italian food (guilty as charged) might not be all that excited about. I wasn't disappointed. We came in through the back entrance, and had to navigate through a bit of maze to find the main dining area. That was kind of irritating. It was after the lunch rush so the place was pretty much empty. As a matter of fact the waitress seemed absolutely flabbergasted to see us. She pointed us to a table and said she would be right with us. While we waited we looked over the menu and saw what I had expected; a combination of Italian and traditional American foods all kind of clumped together. When the waitress came back we put in our drink order and decided to start things off with Garlic Bread with Cheese. When it arrived a quick glance told me this was not going to be pleasant. The bread was overcooked, to the point that the cheese on top had that scabby texture to it. Not so good. For the main dish we went with the two topping Family Sized pizza. Again, I knew this was not going to be gourmet pizza, but I also knew that it was going to be exactly what the kiddies wanted and needed. In that respect, the pizza didn't disappoint. Despite it being greasy, gooey, and impossible to hold without all the toppings sliding off onto your plate the kids loved it. I have to admit it was tasty enough but certainly not something that I would recommend on a regular basis. Total cost was just over twenty bucks. Not too bad for a family of six. Added bonus, the waitress (whose name I never got) was wonderful. Very personable, friendly, and helpful when we were deciding what to order. In fact she herself earned Grammas that third star. While Gramma's is not the place that I would normally take my wife out for a date or would go to hang out with friends, the food is good enough for hungry kids ready to eat and needing to be fed quick. Love this place, if I am looking for a quick lunch, or a dinner I don't have to cook, I give'em a call. I went to UC and took a bunch of classes at the Clermont campus. I could always get in and out between classes with and the service is great. The delivery service is fast (but I just live a few blocks away, so it is just laziness that gets me to call for delivery). They show up on time with hot pizza every time, but remember they are always busy so tip, they are worth it. I always look forward to take out, delivery or dine-in eating. I love the salads, pizza and bread but I have hear great things about the chicken and shrimp too. read more

Pizza is usually pretty good. However, if you're in the mood for dessert, go somewhere else. They have a 7 layer cookie bar that costs $2.50 that tastes like cardboard. They should pay you to eat it. We've been in the area for just over a year. When we moved here, people told us Grammas Pizza is THE best. So we tried it. We really liked it. It's a thinner crust, which I don't normally care for, but they doubled the edges over and slathered the edges with an awesome buttery, garlic salty, Parmesan goodness. They were skimpy with toppings but the crust made it worth it! Fast forward to the present.... We've ordered from them 3 times in the last 2 months. And been disappointed every time. We've ordered once for dine-in, once for pick up and finally we gave them a third and final chance with a delivery order last week. That nailed the coffin in for us. They no longer slather their crust in that yummy garlic cheesy goodness. We'd hoped it was just a sloppy employee who kept forgetting it but we didn't get the yummy crust even once in three orders... Instead it was plain and bland. And so the crust doesn't make up for the skimpy toppings or the fact that the sausage on their pizza is soo finely ground, and hidden under the cheese, that you almost can't even taste it. This does give the added benefit that you can easily pass it off to your "cheese only please" kids as it being cheese pizza. They can't see or taste the sausage. But neither can us adults. So why did we pay extra for it? The nail in the coffin was our Wednesday delivery. When we ordered we were told "we're not busy so it won't be long." 50 minutes later we had to call them to find out where our pizza was. An hour later, it finally arrived (was it sitting on the warmer all that time and the realized it's been forgotten when we called?!?). Regardless of the reason, we will not order from Grammas again. So the search is still in for the best pizza in Clermont county. read more

I love the recipes this Greek family has put together for their joint..!!! The za is amazing... Fresh dough, sauce and cheese... would love more of the gyro meat to show up on it when ordered though... The calzones are so freakin' tasty too... I recommend ordering the pepperoni, mozzarella and double gyro meat calzone, it's not on the menu, but tell 'em Tim told you to try it... Sooooo dang good... read more

By far the best pizza joint in the area! I don't eat pizza myself but my children adore it. I always order the spinach calZone, which is marvelous. My husband is a huge fan of the hoagies and gyros offered, and often compliments the authentic taste of the sauce on the gyros themselves. I've always found the service to be prompt and courteous, and the serving siZes HUGE for the price. Even with three teenage daughters, when I order one large pie there are always leftovers. You just can't beat that! Do yourself a favor and skip the big chain stores and give Gramma's a try. read more

Food is good especially the hoagies but staff is rude. Also don't order delivery. It has taken an hour and a half numerous times to get my order then the woman on the phone pretty much called me a liar. After she said that's never happened she asked me if it was a Friday or Saturday night, I asked her what difference does that make if it never happens. They will never tell you even an approximate time to expect your delivery so it's no more ordering from Gramma's for me. My family and I live in Batavia and always order from Grammas 1-2 times a week... have never had an issue until last night. My mom ordered for me a Calzone with extra cheese and pineapple so I could have it when I got off work at 12am... what did we get? Barely baked Calzone (the dough was raw and flat) with about 6-8 pineapples bits and barely any cheese. My mom called up there and they were extremely rude and offered a $5 credit for my $10 meal. My mom took it up to them to show them and when she took it out of the box to show them they threatened to call the police, which she said she would wait for the police to show so she could also file a complaint, and they still wouldn't give back her money. She asked for a manager or owner and they told her there was no owners/managers to contact and were extremely rude when she was leaving. Never again will we go here. How hard would it of been to reimburst the money/make a fully cooked calzone especially when she actually drove back to the store with the proof of a uncooked calzone?? Gramma's how hard it is to take responsibility for your actions and fit it especially when you, not me, are running a business? And it looks like I'm not the only one that had made this almost exact same complaint!! read more

There are many Grammas pizzarerias in or around our town but the Batavia location is number 1! We moved away for several years and this place was missed and when we moved back this was for sure our 1st pick for dinner. Love the service and the food is ALWAYS delicious!!!
