I've had Grammas Pizza awhile back (carry out). I want to say 9 years ago. It's been that long! We were in the area and I wanted pizza for lunch. My Mr. mentioned this place. You walk in and seat yourself. Wow! Didn't realize they had a variety of items on their menu. Beer and mixed drinks however no wine. They offer-Wings, gyros, calzones, appetizers, salads, Philly Cheesesteaks, Hoagies, specialty pizzas. You can also build your own pizza. They do charged additional for each topping and extra cheese. You can pick traditional, thin or deep dish crust. Sizes are small, medium, large and extra large. We ordered a large (thin crust) which has 8 slices. Our toppings were ground beef, banana peppers, mushrooms and extra garlic. With our pizza we both got Fifty West IPA. We didn't wait too long. Pizza was amazing! We got a side of the garlic butter and it went well with the crust. Let me tell you that this place does not skimp out on the cheese. So much cheesy goodness and the sauce was really good. You can taste that garlic! FYI, they also do carry out and delivery (within radius). Overall the experience was great and I really enjoyed my lunch. I can see us definitely coming back! Grammas pizza is solid! Plus you can't beat the pricing! Very reasonable.

Nice seating and a cool bar area.

Sometimes you just want a classic, no frills, anytime kind of pizza, and that's what Gramma's does best. It doesn't have to be super fancy or pricey to be good. And is it good here? Absolutely! My lady and I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon because we were wanting some good pizza. My lady had their pizza before and said it was good, and of course, I took her word for it. The place itself isn't huge but does have plenty of seating with a laid back feel. The menu is what you'd expect of a pizza place; wings, salads, sandwiches, hoagies, and lots of tasty pizza options available in thin crust, regular crust, and deep dish. They also have beer on tap and spirits but no wine. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered two 50 West Coast to Coast IPAs (one tall and one short) along with a large thin crust pizza topped with ground beef, mushrooms, and banana peppers. We asked for extra garlic sauce on top too. You can never have too much garlic, right? We didn't wait long at all before our pizza was ready, and let me tell you, they did NOT skimp on the cheese! It was edge-to-edge loaded with cheese and toppings. It was absolutely delicious and paired very well with our brews. And it was definitely a great deal on price. My lady was right, this place is VERY good. Honestly, I'd rate it a five star if they had a good wine selection too. Just a few red and white options, nothing huge. I think it would help it there even more, just my opinion. Still, I'd go back for more.

We love grammas pizza! It a sports bar vibe with cold drinks and great food. Service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious. It's always a good go to to hang out and meet friends. Kid friendly as well!

Actually we had a really good meal here. Good service and good food my child loves the garlic bread so we have to hit this place up every once in a while. But this location was great!

This place is a no nonsense pizza place and I like it. Sure, I don't feel like I'm getting gourmet pizza or crazy-awesome topping choices but sometimes you just want good pizza...covered in garlic butter. Oh? Did I not mention that the entire pizza is brushed with garlic butter? This should probably be the only sentence you need to read before mentally deciding to run out and try this place but just in case you needed more motivation the price is pretty outstanding too.For instance they have an XXL pizza which starts at $17.00. When your pizza comes out, grab an edge piece...the crust is basically a bread stick. You're dinner companions will be so impressed by your knowledge of this place and the super delicious bread-stick-crust-situation that you will instantly leave will 10 more respect points. Also, the cheese fries were pretty awesome too...so keep that in mind. Fries + melty cheese + bacon = Yum. This location is clean and sparkly although I wasn't greatly impressed with our level of service since we were the only table in the place. Maybe grab it to go?

Gramma's pizza is a hometown favorite of mine. This new location left me feeling like I should have driven a few extra miles to get the real thing. Positives: - More like a sports bar, you can actually eat inside this one. - Nice patio - $1 PBRS! - Top of the line TV's - Super cheap as usual - only $17 for an XXL party pizza. Negatives: - The service was almost nonexistent and we were the only people in the entire place. We had to get our own silverware after waiting for her to come back and our pizza was getting cold. We wanted some ranch and she was nowhere to be found again, we had to go up to the chef counter and ask them for some through the pass. I found this kind of odd because she was smiley and friendly, but just never came back. - I hate comparing restaurants but this is not a franchisee it is still owned by the original Gramma's family so I need to let you know, the pizza failed by comparison. Where was the grease?!! I talked this up so much to my friends and I feel like that greasy goodness I usually get at the other locations was missing :( Overall - I would hit up this place for a pizza to go. If you want the pizza I grew up with and the pizza I am still standing by as my favorite of all time -- check out the Ohio Pike, or Bethel locations and see my review here: http://www.yelp.com/biz/grammas-pizza-bethel http://www.yelp.com/biz/grammas-pizza-cincinnati-2

My boyfriend and I were out and about in the area and decided to stop in for some lunch. I have had a couple beers here but it was my first time experiencing the food. He got a mushroom steak hoagie with cheese fries which he loved. The cheese was melty and bread nice and crunchy on the top. I went with a tall refreshing mich ultra to start on draft. I then decided to get the grilled chicken salad with banana peps and jalapeños on the side.. yum! The portion was huge and such a great price. Not realizing how much food you get for what you pay I also got their crinkle cut french fries. Super tasty, but definitely had to get a couple to go boxes so I'll also have dinner covered. Our waitress was a little brunette with really pretty long hair, she was on top of everything. Very knowledgeable about the drafts as well as the menu. She was always on top of our drinks and got our order out very quickly and perfectly. Indoor seating available as well as bar seating and really cute patio. Highly suggest you check it out :)

The crumbs count as a piece apparently.

Frustrating.. I ordered a large 2 topping pizza and 20 boneless wings, $30... There were about 13 normal pieces of chicken and the other pieces were batter pieces. The pizza was over cooked and the crust taste like cardboard. I called to complain and the manager was willing to give me credit for 5 boneless wings. The tone wasn't very friendly from the manager.. So, I declined and decided to just post this and flush $30 down the toilet.

I don't really have words to describe it. They only have one size pizza and, at first, I thought it was huge. However, the flavor was so amazing I kept wanting more. Hubs and I did a half and half pizza. His half was the Alms Park and my half was bacon and pineapple. I probably could have eaten a whole pizza by myself. The blend of cheeses and their sauce - so stinking good. We also got a house salad to split. Being that this was to go - they gave us the main salad in one container with their house made croutons in a separate container and their house made vinaigrette in a separate container - it keeps everything fresh and crisp! The croutons were so delicious and fresh! On top of that, the vinaigrette was amazing. We both fell in love with it. We walked in and ordered instead of placing online or calling. The service was AMAZING! We decided to wait in our car and they walked it out to us! They were amazingly friendly and wonderful. Their pizza isn't the cheapest pizza around but it was worth the money we spent. This won't be an every week visit, but definitely a new favorite. While this location is carry-out only, it was very welcoming. They also sell bottles of wine and had signs talking about them. It was a very neat little local place. I'd like to actually try their new location where we can eat in! Do yourself a favor and try this place.

We had better service here than most "normal" sit down restaurants. And the food...not one item we have tried was bad, the vast majority have been the best in their category. Best mozzarella sticks: it's obvious it's a higher quality mozz than whatever everyone else uses. Crispy perfection! Best GF/cauliflower pizza: lots of toppings to choose from (though somehow chicken isn't an option on DD) and again, from the mushrooms to the sauce, you can taste the difference. They make the sauces in house! According to my husband, best Chicken Parm he has had since moving here! You get a healthy portion. And...best cannoli in the area! Growing up in a predominantly Italian and Polish area, I have been lucky to have REALLY good Italian pastries...and their cannoli was reminiscent of those times. This has been the ONLY cannoli in the greater Cincy area that is worth consuming, IMO. All in all, we would dine in at Il Gusto constantly, if we lived closer. Glad they're on DoorDash though! If you are in the Kenwood area, and want a break from the chaos and crowds, Il Gusto is close by!

It was honestly so delicious, and oddly enough was even better reheated the next day! (Reheated great in a toaster oven) It also came out quicker than I expected. (With it being Chicago deep dish, I was prepared to wait!) We also got their appetizer sampler. The items were good, but the pizza balls definitely stood out! The dough was so fantastic and clearly homemade. It was perfectly buttery and flaky, yet firm structural. The sauce was also delicious. A must: pairing everythingggg with their house made ranch. My brother got a steak hoagie and was pretty disappointed when a small sandwich with a meat patty and a side of potato chips is what came out. It just didn't match the caliber of the pizza at all. We also got to Italian sub style hoagies, and those were both small and underwhelming as well. The dining room had a bit of a disheveled feel but I couldn't quite put my finger on what was off. The servers were attentive and kind. We parked at the Levee and walked over. Overall synopsis: I actually can't wait to get pizza here again!!!

The food was 10/10, but definitely felt my experience was soured which is why I only gave 3 stars.

The gentleman who brought us our caprese salad, didn't directly say anything to us, but instead spoke only to the bartender (as he placed the salad in front of us) and told him not to place any more orders for caprese. He seemed inconvenienced by our order and more interested in his smoke break. We were surprised at the presentation and at the lack of flavor but assumed that the pizza would be amazing! based on what we had read and heard - but were incredibly disappointed. The pizza was flavorless and Incredibly greasy. Our impression is that this must be a great location for college students or those who have enjoyed their drinking experience and need some grease to sober them up and don't mind what they are eating. We were very let down in our experience and the lack of professionalism from the employee who seemed to think that since he was in the speakeasy, he didn't need to be professional.
