Not a fan. The best things were the drinks, the calamari, and the mozzarella sticks. The pizza they call "garlic bread " was ok, very bland, but fresh. All their pasta is tasteless, bland. I get authentic Italian is like this, I don't prefer authentic Italian. Give me the fake stuff. Way more flavorful. I got the ziti. Not good. Threw it out. Great location. There are better options for pasta. Definitely a skip. Service was whatever. We were the only party on our side, wasn't that busy on the other side and service was slow and he forgot stuff. I don't like that.

Nice food, good ambience, great staff, nice location, free parking. I love this location over the midtown one. It's one of the restaurants in Ashford Crossing so it's easy to drop in or if you don't want to wait you can make a reservation. Convenient and free parking is a big win for me. We've eaten here a few times but our last visit was on Halloween eve after all our trick or treating. We didn't realize but they had a Halloween party with a live DJ all you can eat pizza? On this last visit we got the meatball flight, garlic bread (which is just an entire medium garlicky pizza - so yum), arugula salad (tried the Cesar salad too), Rigatoni, Bucatini, wild mushroom pizza and to end the meal - Tiramisu. The food was delicious - I enjoyed the Bucatini a lot. The pasta is always cooked perfectly and the seasoning and flavors are bang on. Portions are big so you can definitely share - which is what we did. The wild mushroom pizza was our first here and I was impressed. From the dough to the perfect amount of charring on the crust and the delicious mushroom. While we were stuffed the tiramisu was also devoured. Our server was attentive and helpful and the staff were very personable to my kid. They let him fill up an entire bag (they provided him one) with Halloween treats. This is a nice family friendly restaurant and a staple on my list.

I didn't expect to be able to be seated so quickly for a table of 8 for dinner, but we were able to sit down immediately! Granted, it was a Monday evening, but still! We ordered the Pork meatballs - the meatballs were soo tender and I loved the ricotta and sauce on top. I wish it came with more than three though. Crispy potatoes - I loved the crisp on these, and the sauce was delicious. The insides were pretty fluffy, but it wasn't my favorite. Just because it was so starchy inside that it felt kinda dry and it sucked all the moisture from inside my mouth. Brussel Sprouts - I was a big fan of these. They were cooked perfectly, and I loved the combo of the cheese with the slight sweetness of the sauce. Roni pizza - this pizza was good because you can't really go wrong with pepperoni and honey. But it felt a little weird that this was one of the most expensive pizzas, and on par with other pizzas that came with a lot more interesting toppings and flavors. Rigatoni - the pasta was nice and al dente and the sauce was so good! It wasn't necessarily an item I kept coming back to though. And I wish there was more ricotta. Diavola - this pizza was delicious! But you have to really like pickled things like hot cherry peppers. It was an overpowering flavor, and made everything a bit sour. Caprese - this was also delicious, you really can't go wrong with tomatoes, cheese, basil, and balsamic. And it's so refreshing, especially against all the other heavier dishes. But idk if it's worth the price it was. Paccheri Genovese - this pasta was also delicious! Cooked perfectly, and the caramelized onions gave a really nice deep flavor that paired really well with the short rib. I also liked that the short rib wasn't in huge chunks, so that you could actually eat it with the pasta. And have a general meaty taste overall in the creamy sauce. Cannoli - I love that this is customizable, from what type of ricotta, to toppings, to if the shell has chocolate or not. Not only does it ensure that you get what you like, but it also ensures that these are made fresh! And when we got it and ate it, that was confirmed. The shell was still crisp and fresh, like it had just been filled. No stale cannolis here! Plus, the servers were so friendly! They were nice in general, but when they found out we were celebrating a birthday in the group, they let her customize a free cannoli, and gave her a signed card from the staff. It was so sweet!

I am a hugeee fan of Grana. I typically dine at the one in Buckhead. I went to the Dunwoody location and had a great experience there as well. Our server was Julia; she was sweet and very patient considering it took me forever to order. We sat outside, and it was just as pretty outdoors as it was indoors. We started with the brussels sprouts, which is always a great choice, like I wanted to lick the plate clean type of good.... For our entree's we ordered the Panzanella Salad with Grilled Chicken, The Caesar Salad with Shrimp, and we shared "The Figgy" Pizza. As simple as a Caesar Salad is, they definitely are not made well everywhere you go, but Grana's was delishhhhhh, and the shrimp was really just a good extra touch. What really stole the show was the Figgy. I typically lean towards the Roni, but my friend encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone that day. The Figgy is the perfect balance of savory and sweet, the goat cheese and fig and arugula? I LOVED it. I'm so happy to see that Grana is carrying the consistency of great food and service across it's locations. I will be trying the Roswell location soon and hope to have the same experience.

I came here on Valentine's Day with a gal pal and sat at the bar and the vibes were great. The service was awesome and the ceaser salad which didn't make the cut was amazzzzinggg! We split the salad because it was a big one. I didn't care for the fried meatball but the other meatballs were really good. The pizza is really good and comes out fresh. The wine options were fresh and a perfect addition to dinner. I can't believe this is my first time here and I'll definitely be back.

In town for work and craving Italian. Grana is in a great location despite parking being a little limited (fills up quickly). To avoid waiting we set at the end of the bar. Service was a little hectic as it was half bottle of wine Wednesday so our servers were very busy. Enjoyed our pasta and pizza. Wanted garlic bread to start but the only bread app they had was an actual pizza. Fun restaurant. Would love to go back and take advantage of the half price bottles of wine on Wednesday!

I was walking around the area so I still have to stop it. I've been to the other one so no reason why I would consider not going this one. Instead of shopping area and they have free parking so just keep that in mind. There may be a situation to where it's kind of crowded or whatever the case may be going to look kind of line it is, but at least it's free. Last time I went I went for happy hour. They actually have some pretty good options there. A couple of different types of pasta on that happy hour menu. They have a really nice setup. Because it's in a little area with a lot of other things. They have a courtyard kind of situation right outside. And they have indoor and outdoor seating. And that includes the indoor and outdoor seating that is right off the bar area as well. So on a nice day you can really get a good breeze on the outside while still getting the same service. The last time I was there I went to the bar and I got service immediately and everybody was really friendly. Even though she couldn't eat them LOL. We had a good conversation. Roni - this was the standard pepperoni pizza, but it was pretty good. Thin crust and just the right amount of sauce on the pie. They also did not skimp on the pepperoni either. Brussel sprouts - these were more sweet than savory. Not in a bad way though. It's covered with cheese and the glaze that is used is very sweet and tangy. Overall they are a good spot to go to, especially for happy hour. Next time I go, I will for sure try one of the happy hour pasta dishes too (because they have quite a few options).

I lovvvve Grana. Their food is always cooked to perfection. I've had the Brussels sprouts at a different location and they took them off the menu. But they were back! I would literally go back there just for that. They're so crispy yet soft and sweet. Literal perfection. I also ordered the pasta that I can't remember the name of, but it had bolognese in it. The pasta is sooooo good. It's definitely cooked al dente with soo much meat on it. Definitely an be shareable with another person. I didn't have the shrimp, but the person I was with said it was great! So flavorful. A while back I went and had the margarita, pizza and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were so good and very crispy. I don't think the cheese was cheesy enough to have a pull, but it was still so good. And I love margarita pizza so it was definitely a really good choice. The service is always great there and I've never had an issue with anything. The servers are so attentive. And the scenery is just so pretty, this place is definitely great for date nights or dinner with your friends. It's such a nice vibe. 10/10

Great location. Plenty of parking. Great restaurant and seating ,good lighting several restrooms that were extremely clean. Service and attention was great our server Sam answered Annie and all questions since it was our first time. It's a definite recommend. & and I would be coming back. They also have a smaller selective menu option between 4 PM to 6 PM daily . All pasta made in house.

Came here with my family on a Saturday night and had a fabulous meal!! Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about our food and made the evening even better. We started with a round of drinks that included the tasty Hugo spritz and enjoyed the meatball flight and garlic bread to start. Both are must gets! We wrapped our meal with two entrees to share the rigatoni and the short rib pasta-- both were SO fresh and delicious. Overall a beautiful restaurant with great food!

Loved it here! Can't wait to come back. Visited on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Brittany was our waitress and the bartender. By her recommendation , I got the Grana jewel drink. It's made with whiskey rye, pomegranate juice, lemon juice and agave . Chileeeeee omg the drink was so good! Apparently they only have it for lunch and happy hour which is a bummer. You can taste the whiskey taste, but the flavor of the pomegranate and lemon and agave add a slightly sweet touch. Perfect drink and you can feel it. Hot honey pizza was so good. I could taste the high quality ingredients. Not sure about how it would reheat so eat it all here. Chicken parm sand was also good, but I wasn't a fan of the potatoes. Tasted like they needed a little something else. Still very high quality. Grana, I'll definitely be back!

We were in town for a family function and were looking for a place for dinner within walking distance from our hotel. So glad we chose Grana! The restaurant is quaint and has outdoor seating. Olivia, our server, was friendly and so knowledgeable of the menu. We started with NONNA's meatballs and they didn't disappoint. They were topped with a black currant and mustard seed "jelly" that was so different from anything we've had before. Then we had the Fibonacci pizza, minus the spicy peppers. The crust was crunchy, yet light and fluffy.

Great outdoor patio with leisurely ambiance. The service was great. We were greeted promptly with a smile and seated. Food was fantastic. We all raved about the pepperoni pizza with hot honey. It was delicious! Pasta was very flavorful and cooked perfectly al dente. The sheep milk cannoli had a wonderful tangy, lemon flavor that we all loved. Definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner out!

I really enjoyed the branzino, it was tender and the skin was cooked crispy. I loved that the broccolini was charred enough, but wish the potatoes were cooked a bit more. The capers added the needed saltiness to the dish, though I wish this was served with lemon or something to balance out the flavors. My husband enjoyed his ravioli but found it too heavy with the cream sauce. We thought this was a decent place for dinner, but nothing really stood out besides the eggplant balls.

The ambiance is cute. The bread service is some of the best I've ever had. And the cocktails are fire. Had the lemon chicken at the advice of our waitress and it was incredible. The pasta was great. Cesar salad solid. Wine list strong. Can't say enough.

I was wondering why so many people had either recently left poor reviews or had downgraded their…read moreprevious reviews, and after my most recent visit I unfortunately understand why. Something has completely changed about this spot. It used to be one of my favorites, a nice moderately priced sit-down Italian restaurant tucked away in downtown Decatur. Maybe they've grown too big for their britches as we southerners say, but this most recent visit was likely my last. Staff attitudes were terrible, the execution of the food was a joke. My siblings and I had hyped this restaurant up to our mom and thought she would enjoyed being wined and dined. We arrived admittedly about 10 minutes after our reservation time (thanks to the city of Decatur's hostile parking policies), after attempting to call the restaurant and let them know we were circling the building. I say attempting because the number rings straight to an AI voice that doesn't allow you to speak once it asks you a question. I even tried sending messages through the OpenTable app. Either way, the restaurant claims you have a 15 minute grace period. Once we finally walked inside, my sister leaned over and whispered that their posted food inspection score was a low B. We exchanged glances but figured maybe they were inspected on an off day. The host (once she finally stopped avoiding eye contact with us) spontaneously let us know that since we weren't on time, we would be "getting a table in the back by the kitchen". What an odd policy to announce to your patrons that you're going to be punishing them with bad seating. The table was indeed by the kitchen but given how many tables this restaurant has tried to cram into the dining room, none of them are spectacular. I looked around and saw folks at tables bumping into the ones next to them, that's how tightly everyone is seated. Our server was friendly enough, and was able to recommend some good dishes. Word to the wise, while they bring bread to the table, it's one half-slice per person. We learned the hard way (because our server never mentioned it) that asking for more bread (the exact same amount as before mind you) is $7. You could buy a freshly baked loaf for that price. The actual food was fine, not bad but nothing like we've had in the past. It arrived fairly quickly. Where the dinner continued nosediving was when my sister, after seeing that we all had ordered small side dishes of pasta, decided she'd like to order some as well. By small side dish, I mean a fistful in a soup cup. I add that detail because when she asked the server, the server stated it would be AT LEAST a 20 minute wait. We asked her to repeat herself because surely we heard that wrong, right? 20 minutes for spaghetti?! She left for a few minutes, then came back and said her manager confirmed that even if she asked the kitchen to rush it, the soonest would be 18 minutes. You see a pattern here right? This restaurant seems like they relish letting their customers know who's in charge...and here's a hint reader, it's not you. Where the evening actually became appalling was a result of our closeness to the kitchen. They have a sous chef working dining room-adjacent doing the final dish prep before the food is picked up by the runners. I know kitchens usually don't utilize gloves (the whole, hands can be frequently washed but the same pair of gloves will touch multiple surfaces thing). However this gentleman unabashedly practiced some of the worst cross contamination practices I've ever seen. He'd grabbed fistfuls of Parmesan cheese to garnish a plate, then reach in his pocket for his phone. Then he'd arrange leaves of lettuce for salad, then TOUCH HIS HAIR. We watched him on two occasions have, either family friends or familiar patrons, walk up to him excitedly and he'd hug them and shake their hands and pat their shoulders, and once done would immediately grab forks and knives and spoons by their business ends, squeeze lemons, slice bread, fist the cheese container....absolutely disgusting and completely explains the health inspection score. If anything it should have been lower. We were only 5 feet away from the guy and he made eye contact with us several times so it's not like he was embarrassed. A long haired woman came over a few times and did the same as him, though she did put black gloves on once or twice. To top it off, once we received the check was we saw plenty of upcharges and surcharges that our server neglected to tell us she would be adding, so her tip reflected her oversight. To wrap it up, not only is the service and food not worth the price, but this place is actually unhygienic. Unless they change their practices, you're eating here at your own risk. Wish Yelp was like IG and I could @ the health department....
