    Pepperoni piccante pizza
    Alyanna T.

Craved pizza and G's did the trick. My partner and I ordered the margherita pizza and pepperoni piccante pizza - TASTE: 5/5 - the pepperoni picante was fantastic and well balanced: salty pepperoni, spicy Calabrian chili peppers, Gorgonzola cheese, and sweet honey, yum! The margherita was solid too TEXTURE: 5/5 - love Neapolitan style pizzas and this crust was perfectly thin and crispy, while a little doughy in the crust too PRICE: 3/5 - the pizzas were rather expensive at $20 each SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - personal size pizzas that you could either finish in one go or save for later SERVICE: 4/5 - we called in our takeout order, and our pies were ready 15min later! ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - only popped in to pick up, but the il Giallo space is large, moody, and modern PARKING: 5/5 - plenty of parking in the Parkside Shopping Center plaza

I love this place! 2nd time going there & had another great dinner. You must get the focaccia & have it made as garlic bread. It is pillowy soft with a nice chew & crust on top...drizzled with oil & garlic. We got 2 orders! The Pepperoni Picante is my favorite - it's all the notes...salty pepperoni cups, sweet honey & funk of the gorgonzola...perfection. caesar & insalata zucca were delicious with lovely plating. Margherita & plain pepperoni pies were also great. Crust has a nice char with a good chew to it. Service was friendly & on point. it's not an inexpensive pizza dinner for the family, but great pizza with high-quality ingredients.

I stumbled across this pizza joint through some random article on the internet that talked about recent pizza joints that have opened up in the ATL area, and decided to give it a shot. The location is shared with another restaurant - iL Giallo Osteria and Bar - apparently they are both owned by the same person, and you can sit on either side of the wall and order from either restaurant. We sat in the pizza section - it was very intimate and you can see the pizzas being rolled and thrown into the gas oven. We started off with their garlic focaccia bread and also ordered the margarita and the funghi. I forgot to take pics of the focaccia, but it's easily the best I've ever had. It was rich with flavor, light and decadent with butter. As far as the pizzas are concerned, I think they were Neapolitan style. On both the pizzas, the crust was light, airy and yummy. The red sauce on the margarita was super flavorful, but the funghi was my favorite. I may have found my new favorite pizza place.

The only Speakeasy Pizza in ATL! This is by far my favorite pizza place in the area. The best thing about G's Pizza is the offer the same high quality ingredients their sister restaurant Il Giallo has on the menu. I've tried their veggie, cheese, and pepperoni pizza and all of them were fantastic. They also offer weekly pizza specials. It's perfect for a quick grab and go meal or a casual bite. It also reheats perfectly. I find so many pizza places burn their crust. This pizza is always cooked to perfection!

    Calamari was ok.
    Mike S.

The pizza is excellent. Neapolitan style with a twist. All three pizzas we ordered were very good. The calamari was neither bad nor good enough to leave an impression. The service was very good too. The only issue we had was that it was super cold in the area they have carved out for the pizza restaurant. Sitting there shivering kind of tarnished the experience. We'll be back, but definitely on a warmer evening.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, the restaurant was spotless, and the ambiance was warm, modern, and inviting. It was the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy great conversation, and have an outstanding meal. The Star Michele pizza was easily one of the best pizzas I've ever had. My friend and I also decided to try the Nutella Pizza, and it was absolutely worth it--rich, delicious, and the perfect dessert. The Caesar salad was fresh and lightly dressed, which I really appreciated. Every dish we ordered was excellent, and the quality really stood out. I'll definitely be coming back and bringing more friends to experience this place with me.

Also subbed vegan cheese. The upcharge for the two options added almost doubled the price, which is obnoxious, but such is life as a dairy and gluten and 'everything that is good and wonderful in the world' intolerant annoying human. We also split in of their spring mix salads and each got a glass of wine-cab for me, Pinot noir for the beautiful wife. Start with portions-huge. This wasn't a small salad plate that we split. This was a huge dinner bowl with a good 4 servings. We each had 2 full plates and still have leftovers. As for the pizza, most single serve pizzas, especially gluten free crusts, are 8-10". This was 13". It was gloriously big. And like John Morgan or Morgan & Morgan says, "size does matter". I sticking with 4 stars because I can't give 4.5 and there could have been more cheese and it needed a bit of salt and red pepper. There was good flavor but it was very mild. Also, while my cab was okay my wife's Pinot was awful. The pizza is very good though and like all my pizza reviews, it really only applies if, like me, you are intolerant or allergic to everything good and delicious. Take it for what it's worth. I think you'll really like it here though.

My go-to orders are The Cure pizza and the Not So Mellow--both are consistently amazing. The veggie pizza is also really good if you're looking for something a little lighter. And I have to mention the baby arugula salad... it is so fresh and delicious. We also love getting the cheese pizza with basil--simple but done perfectly. The drinks are just as good as the food. My favorites are the pomegranate lemon drop, the pear martini, and the raspberry passion fruit margarita. They never miss. The atmosphere is great too--very family-friendly and even dog-friendly, which I love because I bring my pup with me. Anytime I have family in town, this is one of my go-to spots. My nephews ask to come here every time they stay with me, which says a lot! I probably come here at least once a month, and it never disappoints. If you're in the Sandy Springs area (or outside of it), it's absolutely worth the visit. Highly recommend!

Needless to say, we enjoyed our experience here for dinner. Husband and I came to celebrate my birthday - he was a bit upset they didn't offer anything for my birthday even though he notated it on the reservation, but I didn't really care for it as I don't like having the attention on me. This place is hard to miss as it's right on Roswell Rd. There is complimentary valet parking available, but there's also free parking at a deck just a few steps away from the restaurant entrance. We were greeted by the hostess as soon as we walked in and the restaurant was already very busy for a Saturday 6 pm dinner. Our server was fine, and the food was decent. I opted for the blackberry fiz mocktail, which was super sweet at first, but with a good mix, it was super refreshing. For starters, we shared the eggplant balls (a must get here!) and the bread service. The eggplant balls were definitely shareable and were probably our favorite thing we ate. The bread service you could probably skip - we wish it was served with vinegar instead of just oil and an olive tapenade. For entrees, I ordered one of the dinner specials, grilled branzino served with broccolini and potatoes. My husband ordered the ravioli. I really enjoyed the branzino, it was tender and the skin was cooked crispy. I loved that the broccolini was charred enough, but wish the potatoes were cooked a bit more. The capers added the needed saltiness to the dish, though I wish this was served with lemon or something to balance out the flavors. My husband enjoyed his ravioli but found it too heavy with the cream sauce. We thought this was a decent place for dinner, but nothing really stood out besides the eggplant balls.

We were at a high top where it's not as pretty, so we'll just have to make reservations further ahead of time to be seated in the main dining room. We split 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 1 dessert. We finished all of it. Here's what we got: - Carciofi alla Giudea ($13): The fried artichoke hearts with the garlic aioli were so delicious. - Caprese con Burrata ($16): Good, we think it would've been even better with balsamic glaze. - Gnocchi con Pomodoro e Panna, add Chicken ($21 + $7 for chicken): The sauce was soo delicious. While we normally prefer our gnocchi crispy on the outside, this was so good. - Parmigiana di Melanzane ($27): Good! There was some peel left on the eggplant that was really hard and inedible, but besides that, nice flavor! The spaghetti was good too. We wished they offered chicken parm, but that wasn't on the menu. - Gelato ($6): We got one scoop of the Hazelnut Nutella gelato and true to its name, it was very heavy on the hazelnut flavor. Very creamy and tasty though! We had a great experience here! Reasonably priced, good food. We'll be back!
