He came the following day, tested the water and did a quick clean day 1, and the price was monumentally better than the few other businesses who reached out to me (but at least they contacted me back, many of them never even returned my call, email, or yelp request). He is so friendly, loves animals (didn't freak out when he saw my German Shepherds) and spent actual time talking to my husband and I. We hired him immediately and I sent my friend his info., she has an appointment with him now. There are still companies that will do good, honest, quality work for a reasonable price. He is definitely the best choice. I am posting some after photos as of this posting before he will arrive to do a cleaning. Keep in mind the bottom of the pool is painted a dark grey and it's over cast outside but I can post more soon of what it looks like in the sun *sparkling*. I sent requests for bids to 5 companies on Yelp and 4 of them kind of blew me off... ya know... send us pictures, send us your personal info... blah blah without any commitments to come out and look. Zack was straight forward and said when he could be out to take a look with a free estimate (sat morning). He was running a little late when he came out but was courteous and notified me ahead of time that he'd be a little late... so no big deal. He was very reasonable with his pricing (I had already looked up the pricing for parts before he got there) and was very happy he didn't try to up sell me or pad his labor costs. I said: great, when can you come out? Expecting him to say in a week or two (like the other pool companies usually do). Nope. He said: Monday afternoon. I was thrilled with the quick timeframe. He showed up on Monday and got to work. He got the light replaced first (which was no easy task... the ledge on that side of the pool is raised several feet higher which makes it difficult to access the light without getting in the water). Not only did he replace the bulb but also the housing and cable that ran under the cement to the light switch. Then he took out the 30 year old heater (that sucker weighed over 100lbs easy) and it's 100 degrees out today... also not an easy task. He fixed the pipes and then started working on the motor. He got that installed and the thing is sooo much quieter than the old one. As we were looking at the pump we noticed some water leaking from one of the connections into the pump. So he says that he can fix that (mind you, it almost 6pm... I'm sure he wanted to go home and get out of the heat, but he took the extra step to give exceptional service). He went to his truck found a new seal and fixes the connection. Didn't even charge extra for it. Really, really happy with his performance! World class service! Will definitely use again!

In two days the pool was clear and nearly perfect already. I thought it would take weeks to get any kind of balance. Also they reset the pump flat on the concrete, added guards by the timer, disconnected old chlorinator, added a hose bin to drain the pool, refurbished the DE filter with all new filter grid and new ring seal. After going with a different company to install my pool tile and pebble tec because they were about 10k dollars cheaper I was filling up my pool and noticed as I was cleaning the filters, all my lines were still clogged with mud and slime that was originally supposed to be cleaned out when the charged me 1500 bucks to do it.. no my pool is full of clean water and the lines have this crap in it!!
