On this Speedway trip I was heading to the Milwaukee area to catch the Red Bull event. It's conveniently located off the highway. I think the hidden gem of this place is the gas pumps behind the building. I even tried out the new Laredo Tacos that are replacing most of the Speedy Cafe's. Their breakfast tacos aren't bad but the quality compares to hotel breakfast food. I will say the shelves are stocked. Staff is sub par, bathrooms are fair. Not the best location but it is convenient at least!

But the owner is rarely in the store. They do everything possible not to issue the refund. If you are an out of towner you are out of luck. After about ten calls and four trips, they gave me partial refund. Very unethical business.

I reached out to corporate over the situation and they ignored both my wife and I after an initial canned response. It breaks my heart to sever my once loyal ties with Thorntons over this station's poor customer policies and treatment.
