Today, 10/30/25, I received a call from one of the managers at Milaegers stating that she had noticed that I had called their store and that my call had gone unanswered. She asked what I was looking for and did I still need to find what I needed. I explained that I had found what I wanted and thanked her for her call. She did not need to call me, but she though enough about their customers that she took the time to follow up on and unanswered call. This is what I call real service and is just another reason I enjoy shopping at Milaegers.

Mr. Hernán Cortés: I just want to thank you again. It's been a while since I've taken the time to write a 'formal' letter of my appreciation of customer service. However the additional steps you've taken to insure I received an intact product is worth mentioning. To anyone reading this; I purchased a Kamado Joe from Grand Appliance and TV through one of their eBay listings. The Kamado Joe is a large ceramic barbecue or outdoor cooking product that weighs almost 200 lbs. I've often been wary about purchasing large items on eBay, at some point in your life you'll receive a purchased item that will arrive damaged. And sure enough the first shipped Kamado Joe was broken from top to bottom. The shipper refused to have any involvement and insisted I call whomever I purchased the item from. My fears of an eBay purchase going bad started to materialize. However whatever worries stopped as soon as I was able to contact Hernán Cortés at Grand Appliance and TV. Mr. Hernán Cortés after seeing the pictures immediately agreed to ship a replacement product (in my case since the same item was not in stock, he offered the next product up at no additional cost). As well the timing being close to Christmas he was able to arrange the new Kamado Joe to be shipped, and continued to communicate both by email, and phone to keep up to date. Well, the final part of the story... the truck driver arrives with the 2nd Kamado Joe and gave us the paperwork to sign first. We delayed until he got the box off the truck then I started to cut all the straps while he insisted I couldn't. But good news the Kamado Joe arrived with no damage. So I can't thank-you and Grand Appliance & TV enough for your wiliness to help me. Especially your continuous follow through via email and phone. By the way.... this arrived before Christmas! So my present to my wife although not a surprise is here and we'll be grilling later today for our first try out. Well, the final part of the story... the truck driver arrives with the 2nd Kamado Joe and gave us the paperwork to sign first. Trying to do my part and "Shop Locally Owned Businesses" but this company Should Be Avoided! I purchased a New GE Washer & Dryer in July/Aug 2022 and these people and there Installation Team caused $15.000+ in damage to my home during the delivery and installation(S). AND they refused to take ANY responsibility for the damage caused in our 2nd Floor Laundry Room and kitchenette area directly below it on the first floor. They sent an installation person out to troubleshoot and he said "everything is connected properly." Then, I called the manufacturer (GE) and they came out and said the issue wasn't with the unit but likely internal and caused possibly during installation of the new units. My plumber eventually confirmed this because Grand Appliance refused to assist further. Prior to this purchase and install we had experience NO ISSUES with Leaks. ZERO! Their install team "installed and uninstalled" (moved) the units 6 times, violently shifting the drain tray in which the units were placed and are connected to a floor drain. This jostling severed the floor drain causing sever flooding. My plumber confirmed the root cause and ultimately made the repair. SURELY, the Grand Appliance Installation Team of Professionals have installed MANY units that sat in drain trays and SHOULD KNOW that they are connected to A Floor Drain! The company has disavowed any liability. I won't do local anymore. I'm spending my hard earned dollars with the Big Box Stores from now own. Truly, Truly, Shady!! read more

Of all the people who pitched in to make our kitchen remodeling job a success, Derek is at the top of the list when it comes to sorting through lots of difficult decisions. We went into the project with a fairly strong idea of what we wanted in surfaces and finishes so the designer, installers, plumber, electrician, HVAC pro, and others had a pretty well defined mission. But we were novices shopping for all new kitchen appliances (and laundry machines, too). Derek is amazingly knowledgeable, up to date on performance track records, and intimately familiar with the pros and cons of all the options. He steered us to just the right solutions for our new kitchen and laundry. He also was extremely helpful navigating rebates, deliveries and installation. He is really an all-star, and reflects very highly on Grand. We will be sure to commend him by name to anyone we meet needing help selecting appliances. Buying a new washer and dryer isn't the highlight of most people's shopping experience but the staff at Grand Appliance & TV in Madison were super friendly and my salesperson Derek Neiman was very helpful. This was my first time buying a washer and dryer and he helped me through the process explaining the differences between top loads with and with and without agitators and front load and answering any other questions or concerns. I even changed my mind on a couple of models and he handled all the paperwork quickly and helped me get the best deal by alerting me to all available discounts and rebates. In the end I ended up with an LG front load washer and dryer and even a pedestal washer which is very useful and convenient. I'm extremely satisfied with Derek and the whole Grand Appliance & TV staff. read more

The sales representative was helpful in completing my order online. They let me know when the delivery windows was and I picked the day. The day of delivery I was kept apprised as to what number delivery stop I would be. Then I was texted a link that showed me where they were on a map plus how many stops they completed. I was told when they were 15 minutes away. It was very helpful. There was a little problem when they had to disconnect the old appliance which was not their fault. We had a little language barrier but he was ready with a translating app. I would definitely recommend the company. You get far better service that the big warehouse stores provide. Grand had even a large selection to pick from which gave me exactly what I was looking for. I give them a big 5 stars. read more

Michael was very knowledgeable about all of the appliances we looked at! We were surprised at his honesty in regards to a refrigerator that we wanted to purchase. He took the time to ask to see a photograph of our kitchen and shared that although it is a very nice refrigerator due to the door swing on the refrigerator and the space in our kitchen for a refrigerator, it would not fit appropriately! it is not often that you come into contact with a sales associate who genuinely has your best interest at the forefront of his mind! Ordering was quick and easy opposed to a competitor that want to charge a service charge for ordering. Everything arrived much faster than I anticipated. The big box stores could learn a lesson. Delivery was great. The Freddy AI is nice but I wish it could respond to simple questions or forward information to the delivery team. Frailin, my delivery driver was great at letting me know his ETA. He and his partner were able to wrestle a massively heavy refrigerator and range without much trouble. Someone should do them a favor and supply a pallet jack in the truck or a motorized hand truck. It would make their lives a lot easier and is probably better for ensuring damage-free, safe deliveries. Great first experience with Grand Appliance! read more

My experience with Grand Appliance has been great. From my online order to delivery has been awesome. I have also forgotten to remove an item from my old appliance. I communicated that with Grand Appliance and they made a special trip to deliver my forgotten item. That is going above and beyond. Great communication from Grand Appliance as well. They have communicated every step of the process and delivery. The price of the appliance is about the same as other places, but at least Grand Appliance didn't hide costs such as installation and so on. Everything was explained and in plain view. Our current washer was in need of repair but parts were out more than 2 months. We called Grand, they had the washer we needed, were able to buy and arrange shipment over the phone Friday and delivered Monday. Great phone interaction with Jess Clemens. She was super helpful. Delivery process was really great with the tracking app. It let me know to within minutes of when they would arrive. This is a life saver if you have to plan to be at your house at the right time to take delivery. Definitely will shop these guys again vs Lowes. The service has just been sooo much better. read more

I love Grand Appliance. This is the 3rd appliance I've bought with them. Older home, everything's starting to go at once! It is so easy to buy and pay via phone, text, and email. Their warranty is awesome because if you don't need to use it, it comes back to you as a store credit. Delivery was easy, they give you a 4 hour window the day before but also call and have a tracker so you know the ETA on the day of. Delivery crew was courteous and efficient. Used the Grand website to purchase a new fridge along with several options available with that purchase. The delivery was seamless. The customer service agent texted us as to arrival time and we could track the delivery route in real time.The guys took away our old fridge, installed an icemaker and hooked up the water line on the new one, leveled the new one in place, and were careful about the floor and not making a mess. We purchased our new refrigerator through online salesman, Ken Lafayette. He was great to deal with and worked with us to set up a delayed delivery. Unfortunately, our project was so delayed our fridge was allocated to another project. But Ken was able to find another in Indiana, got it to us within a week, and even got it upgraded to stainless for the delay. I ordered online so I can't speak for a salesperson but as far as delivery goes they were very quick, efficient, and friendly. The selection of products were good with great prices compared to other stores, the only downside is the extra fees(hookup, delivery, etc) that you might pay compared to other companies but even with those added I paid less money than majority of competitors would charge so it was well worth it. read more
