Grand Ave Grill is a locals' favorite. I've had a number of dishes there including the prime rib special on Fridays and Saturdays. Pro tip: Come HUNGRY! They say the cut is 14 oz, but sometimes they don't measure/weigh it and it can be closer to 16 oz. Also, save some room for ice cream. Did I mention you should come hungry? We usually sit at the bar in the back and there is open mic on Wednesday evenings. The performers are good. In fact, we haven't heard a bad performer yet. The fried chicken salad is great and the honey mustard dressing is made in house and a must try, even if you get it on the side. Their burgers are juicy and amazing. I recommend the Castle Peak with fries. Every time we've gone, the service has been top notch. The bartenders are personable and prompt. They seem to know everyone there as well, which is always a good thing. One thing to note is that parking for the restaurant can be limited, but usually we can find a spot. read more

The service was amazing! The staff are so friendly and welcoming! It was absolutely delightful to meet the woman who took our order (she was also very festive for Halloween with her cool costume!) The green chile burrito was satisfying and memorable. The beef hash breakfast had good flavor but the meat was a little tough. The eggs were great. The dish overall was just the right size. The "breakfast in a cup" milkshake - was such a unique fun treat! I'll admit the mini was bigger than I expected. The flavor was awesome! And I'm very glad to have ordered it. I was surprised to see the inside dinner area wasn't larger for the size of the building. I hope they expand in the future because it was such an awesome establishment. Thank you Grand Ave! OK this restaurant is a must stop place if you are passing by Eagle, Colorado or staying in town! Awesome people that run the restaurant, very friendly and family owned business that know how food should taste. My family ate here on New Years Eve and ordered Prime Rib Tacos... soooo good and the meat was flavorful and cooked just perfect! Also ordered a fish wrap w/Cesar salad, fresh and crunchy outer layer of fish w/flaky fish that melted in your mouth. We ordered the egg drop soup it was incredible for a cold snowy day. This restaurant is worth the drive from anywhere, it's a 25 min drive from the Vail Resort. I will definitely swing by again this amazing restaurant in the future! read more

Wow - this place is an unassuming gem! They offer indoor and outdoor dining and also have a drive-thru window! You order at "windows" for both inside and outside dining as well. Food was delivered to our table promptly. I had the Southwest Shrimp Wrap with Fries and it was absolutely delicious. Fries were truly great. Wow! I always worry about the quality of food when I go to places with such a large menu but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Everything is currently served in the style of a burger stand--food is in baskets with paper liners and orders take place at the window (inside) off a large board on the wall. They take your order, name, and payment and you find your own seat, but I TRULY encourage tipping well up-front as you'll find plenty of clean places to sit and have your food in no time at all. All three orders we placed were easily payed for separately while still on the same ticket. All four plates (three entrees and an appetizer) were out to us at the same time, perfectly hot, and under 15 minutes by my recollection. What a cute place! As someone visiting from a huge city (San Antonio, TX), it was so nice to visit a small local business in another state. I had always thought that a restaurant having "regulars" was something you only saw in TV/movies. Grand Ave Grill was proof that people really do come together to hang out with their friends that are both in front of and behind the counters! I felt very welcomed during my time here. My husband and I have been in the area for 3 months for work and when there is a choice to eat out, we usually end up here. Is it the food? Is it the ambience? Is it the service? Yes, yes and yes. Grand Ave Grill hits the trifecta. My favorite thing is the people that run/own it. They are welcoming to everyone and the vibe is sooo chill. And the food is next level (to a couple of Iowan hayseeds anyway). One of the ladies there told us that the chef is from a ski resort. Not at all Covid friendly at all, but good food and friendly service. They do not enforce masking in the front where you order and the tables are SMASHED in a tiny crowded room. This restaurant is def contributing to the spread of Covid but I also understand they they are trying to survive and don't have many options space wise. I'm not sure if there is a solution but if you are high risk you probably shouldn't eat here. As for the food, we both had eggs Benedict. It was excellent and the hollandaise had a unique twist that I actually liked more than the traditional hollandaise sauce. The eggs were also cooked perfectly. We were passing through and needed something to eat. There aren't many options in Eagle for food, so we thought we'd give this place a chance. Now the hours for this place are a little confusing. We found different information on Google, the website, and at the restaurant. 2nd thing to know is that the menu is insanely long. It's hard to find something to eat, and it makes you wonder if this place specializes in anything. It kind of has a diner vibe to it. The staff was very friendly. I ordered the Western burger. There was too much bun. Overall, the burger did not have a lot of flavor. The fries were good though. I also ordered a small strawberry shake. The small is a generous portion. This place has seating inside and outside. Overall, I wasn't blown away by this place. It's a nice place with good staff. It has a lot of potential, but I think the menu needs to be cut down and more emphasis put on flavor for the remaining items. read more

As others have mentioned the large menu on the wall where you ordered has the wrong prices. It says on the menu the prices are wrong but doesn't list corrected ones and when you order you discover they're quite different from what's posted. Seems like it would be easy enough to just sharpie correct prices up there. The food was decent and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Ordering at the front counter has always been fast, and the food is brought out quickly! I love their burgers, fried mushrooms, desserts, adult beverages, and always friendly service! They also have bands and bingo on a number of evenings each week, which is fun for the locals as well as those driving through the area. Mentioning driving through, their drive through pick up is a great convenience, as is the outdoor ordering window for the ice cream! You wait forever at the front counter for someone to take your order only for them to get distracted while taking food to a table and never come back to take your order. Highly disappointed. We've had other bad service situations here before but this was ridiculous. As long time locals we've given them a lot of opportunities to do better. Well, to start this review there is a bit of a background. I had a friend tell me "You HAVE to go on Friday for Prime Rib" Usually a giant red flag . People mean well, but I will decide what I "have to " have. Boy am I eating crow. This Prime Rib was flavorful, cooked perfectly and seasoned. As you can see by the picture, good size portion. The side Ceasar had the perfect amount of dressing. ( some places the lettuce is swimming ) I cant wait to try other things. The ice cream line on tge other side of the building is huge.
