Today I drove down to Antioch for the first time. I've known about this store for several years but…read morethought it was closer to Chicagoland versus just across the WI/IL border. I can only speak for the whiskey. The selection is huge with plenty of barrel picks from which to choose. I found the prices to be very fair, and there's no "secondary market" pricing that has been cropping up in retail locations in the last few years. Today there was a spirits event at their bar in the middle of the store. About a dozen vendors were pouring various spirits, mostly whiskey, and it was very professional with knowledgeable brand representatives/ambassadors. Also, if you're a whiskey geek like me, there's a sealed cabinet with all sorts of full old and pre-Prohibition bottles of whiskey to admire. It's kind of hidden as it is located in a separate space behind the taproom and we actually appeared to walk through some of the production facility to access the space (likely on account of the cold) which was both fascinating and slightly nerve-wracking, similar to the beginning of a low-budget horror movie! The space is airy and large, and accommodated a couple hundred inebriated baseball parents (and two infidels from Wisconsin that snuck into the event and won the whole damn thing!) along with a quesadilla truck and raffle prizes. I don't drink so I can't speak to the beer but others I talked to said they were good. I can only vouch for their Coca-Cola and give that a thumbs up! Really the only issue is that the space never seemed to fully warm up for me and I left my coat on the entire several hours I was there.

Amanda's energy and passion was outstanding. The tour was about 45 minutes and includes a tasting flight. Since I do not drink bourbon, they allowed my to substitute a drink. There were so many options that I was interested in trying, but after discussing what I like with Amanda, she suggested the Lavender Haze. The lavender syrup is made in house and was sweet, with a floral taste . The drink was excellent. They have open mic nights and live music. They are expanding into the adjacent space in the next few months. It was interesting to hear all of the logistics involved in moving equipment into the new space. We will be back !

Unfortunately they do not offer food options but you can bring your own. They make their own Bourbon,Gin ,Vodka and Rum which pairs well with their huge selection of crafted cocktails.
