We chose our recliner in a few minutes. Approached a salesperson and easy salesperson for them. All…read moreseemed good. But, very quickly, too quickly, he rattled off delivery as drop outside, drop inside and then the third was full delivery of some kind. We have a 900sqft condo, the chair was going within 12ft of front door, so inside only was fine. EXCEPT, the guy DID NOT EXPLAIN the recliner would be IN A BOX & that delivery required 36" opening. When we had our first recliner delivered by a different company, it was wrapped, not boxed, and could fit on it's side through the door. BUT NOT A BOX!!!! Disappoint #1 in your service, he should have said it would be a box and did we have the capacity. Disappointment #2 - he also didn't explain WE WOULD HAVE TO ASSEMBLE THE RECLINER!!!!! We've had 3 recliners in the past and they all came as one piece!!! We werd shocked when we opened the box and we had to read the two CONFLICTING instructions (one in booklet that came with recliner & the one emailed to me). We are SENIORS!! If we wanted to assemble furniture, we would have gone to IKEA!!! The salesperson should have FULLY explained that there would be assembly and that would be included in delivery cost number three - - which we would have gladly paid). BUT NO!!! He just was flipping through pages on his tablet for us to sign and get his sale and be done before they used at 9pm. We approached him at 8:30pm to buy the recliner, not as about it, we were already a firm sale. The lack of customer service for the other side of the sale (when we'd take possession) gives me pause to recommend you to others. If we did, we'd have to be sure it was with the caveat to ask if their furniture would come assembled or not, and if they have the capacity for the delivery. We paid for delivery option #2, to be placed INSIDE the condo. It wasn't until I got the delivery notice that it gave all the parameters (or in the fine print in the store that was NEVER EXPLAINED by our salesperson). That was too late. So we could have had drop at door for cheaper since that's all they did. But we would have paid for & ordered the full set up if someone could have taken 2min to explain this to us as we are paying for our item & delivery. You dropped the ball on this one!!!! Bad POS customer service!!! So far recliner seems fine, but the experience was extremely lacking and could have gone badly with us doing the assembly.

I rarely give a bad review like this but I'm very disappointed with customer service on the phone…read more I was supposed to be picking up my order today based on the purchase I made and when I called to confirm it's ready they told me it'll arrive on Friday! (5 days later) They didn't want to change the order to delivery or give any compensation for their delay. The lady was very unhelpful and not even trying and I ended up canceling the order. Shameful customer service...

She was going on and on about H+H she even had come over to her desk so she could show me their website. Yes they had a lot of very cute dog stuff like leashes, collars, and harnesses that you most likely couldn't get anywhere else. I was in the area and said I have to stop by and show some love. The shop is small, very cute, and very well organized. There is a home section and the dog section is in the back. I was very impressed with this shop because the items that they have is pretty much one of a kind. Much of my focus was on the dog section and the quality of the items were amazing. Next time I'll pay more attention to the home section. Every time I'm in the area I'll stop by to see what's new. Great job Home + Hound!!!

Well, I am the queen of color so left empty handed (for me) but spotted many interesting and practical gifts for my friends with dogs, so even if initially did not realize what things they were selling in this store, then I got great ideas for gifts. We were lucky enough to have Eric help us, and he was absolutely wonderful! Even though it was getting close to closing time, Eric was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. He never once made us feel rushed and took the time to make sure we found exactly what we needed. I can honestly say I have NEVER received such amazing customer service at IKEA! Eric is an exceptional associate and a true asset to the Mission Valley location. IKEA is very lucky to have him. Thank you, Eric, for making our experience such a great one!

So that means that I usually skip the upstairs showroom, and head directly to the left where the entrance to the marketplace is. That's also where the elevator and childcare are. I love the basic Corelle style glass plates. The new updated design is the flat-bowl plate, and it's a pretty pale turquoise color. I buy a couple more of the 2 smaller sizes whenever I'm there, lol. At $2.49-- $2.99 it's a good deal. The mini shopping bags make great gift bags when they have them. Also good storage, bath mats, etc. Checkout lanes are mostly self-service now, which is fine because they're fairly easy to use. Keep an eye out for birthday and other random discounts they send in emails. And next time I'll have to get meatballs, haven't had them in a while
