Our rug from Turkey had been sitting in water for several days when we had returned from a one week trip so you can just imagine the humid smell. Also at one end of the rug the colors had "ruptured" and darkened a light area at the end of the rug. Because of the damage, Micah was hesitant on taking on the project, but to his credit, he did. The absolute best! This local company knows their business and they do it extremely well. I have had two oriental rugs for 30 years. Had the first one (Persian Kashan) cleaned. Was so impressed on how it turned out (the colors in the rug so came back to life that it looks like I bought it recently), I immediately brought in a second rug for cleaning and had some minor repairs done on each corner. The second rug is what I would call a deep pomegranate red (as the predominate color) with intricate designs in various shades of light blue, tan, brown, black, red and a pale peach throughout the rug.
