Have been here twice now, one time each for lunch and dinner. Food is tasty and fresh....nothing special, mind you, but good nonetheless. Service was actually fairly attentive, unusual for a buffet. This is an OK buffet but not great. The place is kept clean and has a sushi and hibachi grill area. I have been to places with better selections at a better price. It does have free soft serve for dessert and you can grab a cone as you leave. The vegetable lo mein is one of the better entree choices. Came here for lunch. The food here was pretty bad. They didn't have sashimi at their sushi bar. Just standard rolls and salmon nigiri. I tried the salmon nigiri and it had a strong chemical bleachy taste. It was nasty. The baked cheese mussels was tiny. The selection was very limited. Went here on a Sunday lunch. Buffet price was $10. It was surprisingly crowded. The place is well kept. My favorite thing about a buffet like this is the hibachi grill. I liked this one because you could add eggs to it. The ingredients were fresh. However, it was a little bit over-seasoned. The sauce was salty. Sushi was fine. I'm not a huge sushi guy so take that for what it's worth. I'll definitely be back. I'll just tell the chef to lighten up a bit on the hibachi soy sauce. read more

I've eaten here a few times. It's similar to Hibachi Grill Buffet or King Buffet in Friendswood. Narrower selection but did is good.

This place has lots of open seats at lunch time which can be a sign of bad location or not great food. Well in my opinion it's both the location is kinda hidden an the food sucks. And there isn't much of a selection. But at least you are seated quickly and it's cheap. read more

The food is on par with your regular Chinese buffets in the area, they stick to the basics as far as the buffet goes which is good. Their hibachi grill is the way to go if you're looking for anything above average in the realm of Chinese buffets. They have a relatively good sushi bar as well which is a nice treat when visiting and all you can eat buffet. Where they lack is there service. Always either inattentive or rude. I get that it's a buffet and the service is a little more informal but that doesn't mean it should be non existent. read more

This is the best buffet restaurant I have been to! The food selection is wonderful, tastes DELICIOUS! The workers there are very welcoming too... Sushi there is soooo good as well, safe! We have eaten at the Grand Buffet on I-30 in Greenville, TX for several years and enjoy their delicious foods and variety of cuisine. Lately, however, some of their TVs are showing violent and inappropriate movies for families and children. With all of the violent acts reported on the news and in video games, families need a peaceful place to eat together without shooting, killing, bloody scenes, and violence in a family restaurant. It would be much more appropriate to show cooking programs, educational programs, or other programming that is appropriate for families and children, rather than violent programming. LS read more

First time ive been there and food was amazing so worth the drive from baytown to eat very yummy service was fantastic omg i will go there again any time. Seating was nice and table was very clean no residue on the tables from what ever cleaner they use which is fantastic. The bath room was nice not as clean as I would like but it was clean. Meat is cheap and chewy. Desserts are tasteless. There is a large variety but it's a typical buffet with buffet quality.

I frequent this restaurant quite often and most of the time the food is good. There are certain days I've gone and the food was less than pleasant, But, never often enough to make me stop going. The food was not that great but that is not my beef with them. They NEVER EVER ask how old your kids are. They assume that they are over ten years old and charge you adult prices for them. They have done that with 3 of my 7 children and I will NEVER go back. I have spoken to the managers many times and when I asked the manager tonight why they don't ask the kids how old they are if they feel adults will lie to pay less he never answered my question. We like this Chinese restaurant it's pretty good but on Tuesday 8/29 we went to eat there, it was our daughters 21st birthday. We had been in the house for 3 days unable to leave because we were riding out Harvey....the big storm. We have eaten there several times but we probably won't eat there again. Okay, when it comes to buffets this place is go. However, to-go is where it's at! The prices are reasonable and they give you a lot of food. It's enough for dinner and lunch the next day. This place is garbage. We ate around 4:30 pm and the food taste like it had been sitting there all day. The waiter didn't know what to do when I told him everything on my plate was old and cold. He said he would let the people in "back" know. 10 minutes later I asked the waiter what the people in the "back" had to say and he responded that they're gonna make some fresh food now. I asked him why it takes a customer to complain for y'all to think about making fresh food? He said I could wait if I wanted to so I wouldn't have to eat the left overs from lunch. I said we have been here 25 minutes already, I don't want anything from here. So I got my check and took it to the manager lady at the front where she was very rude. She wanted to charge me for not wanting to eat their crap they call food. She snarled many times and took $10 off the bill. Complained to mgt about constantly screaming kids and he only offered to move our table away from the problem, would not speak to customer that was ignoring her kid that was screaming miommy mommy 2 dozen times in a row before responding to the 4 year old. Could here from every part of the restaurant...ruined entire meal. Also other kids well under the age of 8 serving themselves at buffet without using utensils. Mgt said sorry but they could not see this because walls were too high. Noticed numerous health violations that will be reported to health department. Though have gone to for many years, will not return due to managements complete refusal to take care of reported problems and food safety. read more
