I do like the fact that they have hibachi but I was annoyed that the sushi was all gone when we arrived at 2:30. I tipped the hibachi guy a couple bucks to make more but he was the only guy back there. He tried making the rolls but was interrupted every few minutes by someone wanting hibachi so I got my sushi around 3:15. My appetite had disappeared for the most but I finished my plate. Me and my son came there and a woman offered to pay for our food it was right after New a years and I thought it as kind of her and I accepted I just ordered rice and chicken and it took 30 minutes just to receive the food guy at the front desk seemed like he knew what he was doing and made us wait extra long like we were poor and homeless. He meant to take forever for us to get the food then when we got it it wasn't all that good . He noticed my son getting impatient and then when food arrived he gave me a little container like we were homeless. My son wasn't even going to eat this food he wanted something else the food was for me only. I am not going to detail all the food. It is full of all that you would expect, it is well kept, and tastes ok. I actually prefer going to the hibachi grill and assembling my own plate of food..usually chicken and all the veggies. Then tell him spicy or not, and soon you get a fresh cooked plate HOT off the griddle. There are other things I like (egg foo young) but I don't usually go for all of the buffet. It's not bad for a $10 lunch, I just wish they had more oriental options. They have a lot of american/fried things on the buffet. They recently close the mongolian grill they had and got rid of the sushi. The sesame chicken has really good flavor and the vegetables they put out are fantastic. I am a big fan of the zucchini and green beans. The chicken and broccoli has the perfect amount of sauce on it and the broccoli isn't over done. The wings are pretty delicious. I love this place! The cashiers are very friendly. I usually do the take out menu which gives so much for the price. Their fried rice is wonderful and the wings are huge! Looking at the reviews we must have caught them on a very bad day. We were there on a Saturday. We were traveling read the reviews and all seven adults agreed to go there with five children. Worst the decision ever. We were greeted swiftly by the host and she took us in a back room. The ceiling was leaking and they had a bucket on one of the tables to catch the overflow water. We asked if they were allowed to serve people or food in this room and the host replied "Yes" don't worry we take good care of you. I was headed to Charleston Seafood when I walked past this place. They had a sign for Cajun Seafood so I went in. I browsed the buffet looking for the Cajun seafood - I was born in Louisiana. I could not find anything that resembled Cajun. I asked the waitress but she spoke no English. I thought well give it a try anyway. Hands down the worst food in Charleston. The tea was so sweet that I had to eat some ice cream to get my blood sugar back down. All the food must have been out for days on the bars.
