I had heard that this was good from a friend that first went when it opened and wanted to give it a try. We came at 3:30pm and it was still a very busy place. We were greeted with smiles and shown to our seats and went straight to the Buffett. A huge selection of offerings such as ribs, fried shrimp, pepper steak, sesame chicken, and beef and broccoli with rice and lo mein noodles to name a few. Having an appetite for Chinese food, and knowing that a new restaurant called Asian Fusion opened recently (3months ago maybe, I'm a bit behind) I decided to make my way there last night. Here is my story. Upon entering , my wife and I were greeted by a very pleasant Hostess. No wait to get to the table for us and our beverage order was taken by her as we sat. Looking around the restaurant I noticed how active the staff was ...cleaning tables and chairs and booth seats, thoroughly. I was impressed. When I walked to the service stations I felt I was in a room of mirrors; there were so many! Soup, fresh fruits, sushi, dessert and 3 fully loaded serving bars. I loaded my plate :) and grabbed some Hot & Sour soup. In the interest of brevity, I ask that you look at my photos and comments. If you're not interested in spending that much time, I offer this: The service was very good. The staff gave space with only periodic interruptions. The food (save sushi) was good, especially the fried drumsticks and fried blue crab (a new one for me). Sushi was OFF THE CHAIN! I wanted to go back for Crawfish but I was too full. Environment was impeccably clean and subtle in appearance. The food I had was very good but the flavors seemed to run together so drumettes and fried blue crab win that plate competition. There was a film atop the Sweet & Sour soup which suggested the soup bar was less attended. And I forgot to mention there was an awesome salad bar! As we left the restaurant my wife asked, "well, would you come back"? I gave a resounding YES! I have about 35 other entries to try. I think most people would enjoy this place. read more

This is a new business. There is plenty of parking and a large interior seating area. The buffet had plenty of options and they were continually retocked so you could enjoy all of your favorites. The food was very good. The service was not. Once we were seated we were forgotten. I had to flag someone down for drinks after about 15 minutes. They never checked back to remove plates or provide the check. I think it's a learning curve for them since they just opened and were packed. The food was very good and prices were reasonable. This place just opened. It is like the first Chinese Buffet that I've seen since COVID that hit the industry pretty hard. The food was not bad. I really should have tried the Mongolian Grill but.was really not up for that. Place seemed like it wasn't ready yet. They half blowie waving dancing straw men to welcome you into the establishment. I normally go to kings sushi which is $18 compared to their $14 They had awesome sushi but I noticed that after I took several pieces, they never replaced them The egg drop soup was very oily but the bbq was good. My mom and I went to Asian Fusion for the lunch buffet and this is the best price for a buffet in West Ashley! This is a very new buffet. We enjoyed the variety of Asian cuisines that make a Chinese Buffet enjoyable. We were stuffed after two large plates and dessert. Staff were attentive and very friendly. We decided to visit the Asian Fusion Buffet for lunch the other day in West Ashley. We arrived at the restaurant and it was packed but we got seated fairly quickly. The restaurant provided a wide selection of fresh Asian cuisine. The staff worked hard to keep the buffett full. We tried a little bit of everything and it all was very good. The prices are very reasonable for and all you can eat buffet. The only down-side to my visit was that they were so busy that it impacted the quality service at the table. We were there 20 minutes and had ate our first plate of food before the server provided our drinks. We actually had to ask a second time in order to get the server to provide. We also had some difficulty getting our guest check because or server never came back to the table to collect our plates or fill our waters. We finally went right to the cash register and asked for our guest check. In closing, I would like to say the food was great, the price was right but they need to work on their 5 star service. Been twice so far. The food is very well prepared. I like the food options. My late mother would have loved the pancit. For a buffet it was that good! The variety of food is great. A couple words to describe this place is, terrible, horrendous, disgusting, and overpriced. The meat didn't taste like chicken or steak or shrimp or whatever it was supposed to be. We were very excited to hear about a new asian buffet in Charleston, that quickly changed as soon as we walked in. We were seated (saw our server once) they don't serve alcohol which isn't a huge deal. The quality of food looked like dollar tree rather than authentic asian food. The amount of flies flying around reminded me of a childhood camping trip, gasp! Instead of the workers refilling waters they gathered two feet away staring making the already awesome dinner even better! couldn't get out of here fast enough and hit taco bell on the way home!
