There are ramps and some stairs (going down). Handrails are helpful, especially in the steeper parts.

A group of us (aged 15-95) visited as an adventure for my father's 95th birthday (took the 3/4 mile tour). Ariane was our guide, and she was FANTASTIC; we were appreciative! The Caverns were interesting, and Ariane was informative and funny. Even though Dad manages really well for his age, she helped us make sure he was both safe AND that he had a wonderful experience. We all enjoyed ourselves! Tour price is very reasonable, especially the senior discount!

Very cool place. You can have a meal in the cave. Highly recommend. Great tour and food. The people are informative and friendly.

Post for June 13th, 2025 This is the last stop before hiking into Havasupai Falls. It's an hour away from the Hill Top where you start your descend into Havasupai Falls. The service here has been nothing but friendly and accommodating. The first night of check-in we had no issues other than the wifi not working in our room, which wasn't an issue for me because I'm going to be without wifi or cell service for the next couple of days, what's one more day? Anyways, get here before 6pm to check-in if you're going to Havasupai Falls the following day or the day of. if you stay here they provide you with complimentary continental breakfast. Breakfast was literally 2 hard boiled eggs in a commercial plastic bag, cereal, regular milk, bagels, sliced bread, a toaster for your bread, butter, Philadelphia cream cheese, cups of OJ, cups of Yoplait yogurt, and salt packets. For what it was, I didn't mind it. It did the trick and helped me start my day. The rooms themselves a kept nicely and comfortable beds to sleep in. The restaurant on the premises is nice. The staff are friendly and accommodating as well. My group had the fry bread tacos which were MASSIVE and I had the Zoomie Burger. I had a piece of the fry bread taco and it tasted great. My Zoomie Burger was infuriated over cooked, but I think that's just how they cook them naturally. Nonetheless, it was a fine dining experience next to the gift shop where you sign up for the cave tour

We enjoyed the short tour. Very educational and impressive. We recommend making reservations online prior to making the drive. The lunch in the Cavern is a great idea but the food was horrible. We do not recommend spending the money for the experience. Oh, bring a jacket, it is 58 degrees 220 feet under ground.

The Grand Canyon caverns is one of those special gems on historic Route 66. Just a few miles from seligman but so far from average. I've been enjoying the caverns camp sites for some years and am always satisfied. But in the last few years they have stepped up their game. Cleaned up more amenities and ample staff. We enjoyed complimentary continental breakfast during our stay and Lisa was wonderful, even went out of her way to get my daughter a blueberry muffin. Angel in the camping office helped me not have to move our rv when I accidentally did 2 separate nights instead of booking 2 continuous. They truly love their resort and it shows. Clean shower rooms and updated motel rooms along with a good restaurant that had live entertainment. All that not even mentioning the caverns and their fascinating history. From discovery in the 1920's till today inspiring awe in countless generations. The dinner tour is an awesome offering and they even have a short tour now. I can't say enough. I will be back. 10/10 recommend

We stayed in the motel and toured the Cavern on a quick getaway for the weekend. All the staff was super friendly and the rooms were clean and comfy. The Cavern tour was so neat and the guide was so funny. We ate at the restaurant in the Cavern and that was a unique experience. My husband had the bison burger and said it was delicious. I had the grilled chicken salad and I think I would have rather had the BBQ pork. The salad was weird with sliced zucchini and the ranch was kind of bland. The service was fantastic and the server was very chatty. We definitely had a great time.

Drove an hour to get here and no where on their website did the say you have to book a day in advance. Asked about a tour at 5pm and was told the lady wouldn't want to go right back down after she came up from her other tour. So went to sit in the resteraunt up top and was ignored for 10 minutes before the server finally came over and asked if we have been helped.... their was only one server are you kidding me. Very disapointed

We took the short tour (25 min) with tour guide Dino and it was the perfect length of time. The caverns were very impressive and Dino was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. It was a perfect pitstop on our way to the Grand Canyon that got us walking a bit and intrigued us adults and our little kids alike.

The restaurant was open at a limited time when we were there (11am-3pm) but the owner mentioned that he'll stay open later if/when more people are around. With that said, the owner and one of his guys were just the most pleasant people we have ever met!! Very welcoming, nice, explained a ton of stuff to us that we appreciated - overall good energy kind of folks. After a long morning of driving this was the perfect meal to recuperate and just feel good! My southwestern burger was so so good and you can't sleep on the fries (we ordered extra to go for dinner since we're checked in overnight at the Inn and nothing else is open around the area). Definitely go visit when in the area, they deserve a ton of love and support! The Caves will also be open by end-March (same area as the restaurant)!

Ask the Community - Grand Canyon Caverns

Can we walk around and check out the place without meal or overnight stay?

Hi there! Yes, you can book a standard or short tour to see the Cavern. That is just a tour, without a meal.

Can you still stay the night in the cavern?

Yes you can! When we toured the caverns in late May of this year the guide told us that this was available have fun! great place to visit

Is the lunch menu still served at dinner time?

Is there anything vegetarian on the menu?

Hi Christina, as a restaurant manager, I'm sure they could work with you to design a vegetarian meal. In the Grotto, they have a pretty nice salad bar, and all of the sides for the meal are veggie and root based, or pasta. Vegans might have… Read more

Today, they did just that! I had the steak and egg breakfast and the temp, char and seasonings were perfect. Rest of the family had other items and we all ate 'em up, it was that good. Servers and staff checked on us regularly and had a real pleasant conversation with the proprietor. This man taught his kids well; amazing little family there. The place has great decor for that area and a cool little gift shop. There's not a whole lot of choices in Seligman, but Roadkill Cafe is worth you giving them a try.

The space still has that nice rustic charm with plenty of seating inside and outside on their nice patio. Ordering, however, has changed. Beers, cocktails, nonalcoholic beverages, cans to-go, and food is all ordered up at the bar. There was 1 lone employee working the bar; taking orders, pouring beers, mixing cocktails, and closing people out at the register. This was so incredibly inefficient, particularly on such a busy day. I stood in line 3 separate times (once to initially order two pints, a second time to order a flight of other beers we wanted to taste, and a final time to purchase two cans to-go and close out my tab); each time in line took between 15-25 minutes. The girl behind the bar was very friendly and she was working as quickly as possible while maintaining a relatively happy attitude, but boy did I feel bad for her. Management really messed this up; someone needed to step in and help. With such a big celebration in town that day, there needed to be a minimum of 3 employees manning the bar to take orders and get drinks. As for the beer itself, as usual it's just average. Great if you're looking for something cold to enjoy, but not memorable if you're a craft beer nerd. We went in knowing what the quality would be, but still wanted to try all the new beers since we hadn't been in a couple of years. We didn't eat while there, but in the past when we have, the food is good. The knock of two stars was simply for the horrible management of orders. I don't know when they decided to get rid of waiters and put all the pressure onto the bartender, but geez what an awful decision that was.
