The Historic Brewing House is a chill place to get local, craft beer for a pretty decent price. My husband and I split a flight, and most of the beers were quite delicious. Children are allowed in this brewhouse, but I found it to not be the most exciting place to bring children. The bar had two arcade-like games (a shooting game and ski-ball). The shooting game was broken but charged us anyway (a manager had to refund us), and the ski-ball was entertaining, but with the amount of kids, and there only being one machine, it was a challenge. I wouldn't call this a sports bar either. There were some TVs but nothing big or to write home about. Come here for a chill time with adults to enjoy conversation and great beer. They have a fairly large merch section in the back, with tons of great shirts and items to take home. read more

We've been to this location quite a few times, but it's been a few years since our last visit. We popped in for some ice cold beers after the Route 66 100 Year Centennial Car Cruise and Show a few weeks back. The space still has that nice rustic charm with plenty of seating inside and outside on their nice patio. Ordering, however, has changed. Beers, cocktails, nonalcoholic beverages, cans to-go, and food is all ordered up at the bar. There was 1 lone employee working the bar; taking orders, pouring beers, mixing cocktails, and closing people out at the register. This was so incredibly inefficient, particularly on such a busy day. I stood in line 3 separate times (once to initially order two pints, a second time to order a flight of other beers we wanted to taste, and a final time to purchase two cans to-go and close out my tab); each time in line took between 15-25 minutes. The girl behind the bar was very friendly and she was working as quickly as possible while maintaining a relatively happy attitude, but boy did I feel bad for her. Management really messed this up; someone needed to step in and help. With such a big celebration in town that day, there needed to be a minimum of 3 employees manning the bar to take orders and get drinks. As for the beer itself, as usual it's just average. Great if you're looking for something cold to enjoy, but not memorable if you're a craft beer nerd. We went in knowing what the quality would be, but still wanted to try all the new beers since we hadn't been in a couple of years. We didn't eat while there, but in the past when we have, the food is good. The knock of two stars was simply for the horrible management of orders. First time here, thought this place would be cool. The woman behind the bar was rude and unfriendly to both myself and my boyfriend at separate times. I work in customer service and I could never imagine speaking to customers that way! Also we ordered a corn dog and waited for 30+ minutes. Seems like a cool spot, but the negativity really threw us off! ( bussers and runners were great!!) Cool spot, beers on tap, tasty food, skeeball, and a mini shooting range. Couldn't ask for more! Also loved the music selection playing while we sipped on cold beers. Make sure you order at the bar before you sit down. You can leave your tab open. The fried zucchini were a massive portion and great for sharing. The pulled pork was enough to share as well. Sweet bbq sauce went well with the pork and the fries were nice a crispy. The inside of the building is very cool looking too. read more

(+) Tourist here. Took the train ride, round trip. Arrived back from the Grand Canyon and we already planned to have dinner in Williams. Short walk from the train station, we thought a brewery would have something for the adults and kids. We were not disappointed at all, and that's not because of low expectations or that we were really hungry. (+) Simply order and pay at the bar. Solid menu. (+) The number of beers on tap were plentiful and delicious. I recommend ordering a flight to sample up to 6 and find what you like most! (+) Pizza was good, pulled pork sandwich also good, and the servers were nice and willing to bring us extra sauce and dressing when requested. (+) Ambiance was chill, not too rowdy or loud and crowded on the Wednesday night we visited. Road-trip to Grand Canyon. Decided to stay overnight at Williams so that the drive and day at Grand Canyon is not to long. One of restaurants that is open late in Williams. Really good bar food and the ipa/beers were pretty good. We got a beer sampler including the ale. They have to go options too. Sat outside to enjoy the fresh air. Ordered at the bar and food was delivered pretty quick. Bar has also good selection of merchandise. Highly recommend getting a drink with the bar food. This was a great spot to stop at for lunch on a weekend. You order food and drinks at the bar and then seat yourself. The patio is dog friendly and it was busy but didn't feel crowded. The service was really fast and friendly. We enjoyed our drinks and were pleasantly surprised good how good the food was. The pizza was pretty good, with good flavor and cooked well so that the crust was firm without being dry or mushy. They could have spread some of the ingredients around better rather than in piles, but that's just being pretty picky. The cheesy bread was also really good and I wouldn't hesitate to come back and try more of their food. The sandwiches looked good and seemed really popular too. read more

This was a great stop on our drive to Sedona from Las Vegas. It was nice to cruise down the official Route 66 and then stop in to the Historic Barrel House. Here, you order at the bar, take a number, and grab a seat. Alisha was great behind the bar and the music playing in the place was awesome! We ordered ourselves a couple beers (the Imperial Stout was quite tasty) at $8 for a 16oz and $10 for a 20oz. We also enjoyed the Pulled Pork Sandwich ($17.50) and an order of Fried Zucchini sticks ($13). As this is a casual spot, you grab your own to-go boxes and, if you're up for it, bus your own tables. I don't know that I'll find myself back in Williams anytime soon, but if I do, I'd stop back here! read more

Came on a saturday. They were definitely understaffed. Service was extremely slow. Took almost 30 min just to place our order at the bar. No table service. Brewery is VERY kid friendly. I've seen less kids at a chucky cheese. Take it for what it's worth whether that's a plus or minus for your particular situation. I'm old fashion. Breweries should be 21+ as far as I'm concerned. So now for the important stuff. Pizza took 38 min to come out on top of the 30+ minutes to order. The pizza was tasty, I will say. Beers were average. Had the IPA and a oktoberfest Marzen. I would not recommend this place during the Polar Express season. Maybe on a slower night it would be tolerable. read more

Good for beer, but food was not good at all I had a beer flight and liked all except for 1. For lunch, my party had 3 sandwiches, the Cheesesteak, Pulled Pork, and Nashville Hot chicken. The cheesesteak was the most palatable. The Nashblville hot chicken was the worst. The sauce was more of a BBQ sauce and the chicken was like a super thin, dry patty that seemed like it was a frozen patty. Wouldn't return unless only for a beer. read more

This is a solid place for pizza, beer, and wine. Drink selections are a bit limited especially in the wine, but they have some good selections. They also have cocktails. Love the outdoor seating (although they have indoor seating as well) and the staff is friendly and helpful. Their offerings have appetizers, salads, soups, pizza, and sandwiches . We ordered the Funghi pizza - a mozzarella and goat cheese pizza topped with wild mushroom ragu and thyme infused olive oil. It was pretty darned delicious and different from the tomato based pizzas. Gotta be my favorite brewery. I was dying to come here to get the Undercover Cucumber beer after trying it at Bearizona and it delivered. All of the 5 selections of beer I tried were just fantastic. The berries n' cream, the cucumber, the piehole. Their beers are just awesome. It's really cool inside, very laid back vibe. Nice patio with plenty of seating and good seating inside. Stopped in for a bite before heading to the Grand Canyon . I'd taken a look at the menu on Yelp and was looking forward to a burger & a drink. When you walk in the sign tells you to grab a menu and seat yourself, order at the bar. Food is delivered to your table. The menu had several pizza options, burger, salads and lots of drink options. The place smelled like wood oven baked pizzas.. yum! I went with the burger, it was juicy and delicious. The fries were nicely seasoned and the bun was buttery soft goodness. Definitely hit the spot. I had a prickly pear cider to wash it all down. They have plenty of indoor, bar area and patio seating. There's a small gift shop and skeeball game in the back. Service was fast & friendly. We had a good visit. Service was nice, bartender very friendly, and the food was tasty. Loved the option to dine outside, as the weather was beautiful. I was disappointed, though, in a couple things. The funghi pizza ($23) with "wild mushroom ragu" was regular, thinly sliced, and well cooked button mushrooms (see photo). Overall taste was good but not what was advertised. Hubby's burger ($19) was run of the mill, but the fries were somehow cold in the middle. They WERE still crispy outside, which was interesting, and again, they tasted good. The Italian soup was like a zuppa toscana, and it was fantastic. That's what I'll go with next visit. Yet another spot in Williams that I visit whenever I'm in town. They have a great selection of on tap beers, the servers are always friendly and helpful and their decor appeals to my tastes. They have great pizzas and the cheesy bread is bomb. On my last visit, I ordered their chile verde nachos. When they arrived at the table, they weren't what I expected.. Instead of a nice and saucy chile over chips covered with cheesy goodness I got clumps of shredded pork sporadically placed on a pile of chips covered in a white cheese sauce, pico de gallo and fresh jalapeño slices. Initially I wasn't impressed, but then I took a bite and I must admit, the nachos were delicious. My wife had a pepperoni pizza and my M-i-L had the kids chicken strips and fries. I can't speak for the tenders, but the few fries i had were great! Next time you magically appear in Williams, be sure and stop by the Historic Barrel House. You won't be disappointed. read more
