Dogs hanging out in front of the cabin

We came here over the summer for a family trip and decided that we liked it so much we came back for a relaxing getaway. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. The campgrounds are clean. We rented a small rustic cabin both times. It was clean when we arrived and I love that it has a full size bed and bunk bed. I also appreciate that they provide a small fan and space heater in the cabins. I honestly didn't mind having to walk to the bathroom/shower. Felt like summer camp. lol. And they were always clean. They have a cute little dog park, pool/hot tub and playgrounds too. I think the only drawback is that it is right off the road so there is constant car sounds. But the plus is that it is right next to a Chevron. Overall, I think the rates, friendly service, and cleanliness of this place make it a five-star stay in my book.

The shower floor didn't look like it had been cleaned in months!

We stayed two nights and the bathrooms were never cleaned. The cleanest one had no working lock on the door, so my husband had to stand outside to make sure no one came in. There were at least 5 workers there all the time, but never seemed to be doing anything. One creepy guy (employee) came into the pool area and walked the entire pool then dipped his sweaty head and rag into the pool to cool off.

First of all we booked a reservation by phone my wife did then we got here at the campsite they did not have our name but yet we had a receipt emailed to her really bad management and or bad front desk people because we ended up getting A site the way back of the camp Grounds away from everything so everybody else got sites before us because they got their reservations and second of all the cable tv is out for the price you pay 90 bucks a night and a gravel pit deafly not worth it Wi-Fi signal is very weak and it goes off and on all night long . one of the worst koa I ever been to I will not return to this one ever again.

This is the nicest KOA I've been too. The bathrooms were nice, private, and very clean!! We stayed in a cabin and had zero issues. There was plenty of space between the neighboring party and a picnic table, fire out, grill, and parking space. There was WiFi at the main office and a very convenient gas station and snack bar at the entrance. I love KOA, and I loved this site!!

I wanted to write a review because of how awesome our experience was. We were so scared because of the negative reviews but this place was so awesome. Very family friendly and super clean. The pool was very clean and the staff were so so friendly!! My son was crying and one of the staff gave him a little snake toy :) the train ride is free! The playgrounds were clean and my kids enjoyed them. They had a projector play Stuart little Saturday night for the kids which they loved. The showers had hot water and were clean. Bathrooms were clean. They have affordable campfire wood. The Wi-Fi was NOT spotty. I didn't have a single issue with it. They take security seriously! There was an incident one night at midnight where I was waiting outside the bathroom for my daughter and a man jumped out of the dark yelled at me and scared me I called the security number and they came right away and even followed up with me the next day. They exceeded all of our exceptions with how friendly they were and how clean everything was. Thank you! !

Honestly the best spot we could of asked for - a true cabin! With ceiling fan and a space heater. The bathrooms had a heater - so it was a cozy shower or bathroom break! Well lite facilities! Loved our experience! Will return here for sure! This cabin is a luxury because I'm accustomed to overlanding and car camping - so a warm cabin and hot shower with lights is amazing! Will add KOA to any multi night stays anywhere across the country!

We had stayed before at this location in the smaller cabins. But if you can get a deluxe cabin go for it. Room for 6, the cabin comes with everything you need, the location is quiet and it looks like the campground is getting some work done on it. I'd say the only bad part about the cabin was there are a million light switches, kind of confusing and the fridge froze our food. We stayed in deluxe cabin 2

Oh my goodness! This is the largest gift shop with all the handmade gifts in this part of America!…read more I found Cameron Trading Post during my drive from Page to Sedona. There is a restaurant, hotel and a giant gift shop in the building. The amount of amazingly beautiful handmade jewelry, pottery and accessories ... just mind blowing! Very hard to walk away from buying anything, so be prepared to spend some serious money here! Besides more turquoise jewelry, I also bought some Prickly Cactus Pear Jelly, and a Prickly Cactus Pear Marmalade. There are multiple cashier counters, so you don't have to worry about waiting in line for too long. The cashiers are very nice and helpful with any questions you may have. Taking pictures or videos without permission is not allowed! It's a great place to stop during your trip, for a restroom break, or shopping or just a scenery around the area.

Guessing based on their breakfast that their lunch/ dinner is good... but it's hard to find good breakfast places and this is definitely one! * Highly recommend the Warrior Surprise and the Ranch Hand. *The Navajo taco with an egg anyway you want it... not only tasty but such a huge portion. Get the fresh onions and salsa on the side and you can decide how much you want if it. * The country fried steak was tender and that is some of the best gravy that comes with the Ranch Hand. Recommend opting for the fry bread for an extra 1.75... totally a treat! *Service was attentive and friendly * Dining room views of the outside was pretty. * Didn't stay at the lodge but would consider it given the pretty landscaping and access to a restaurant within walking distance... a good restaurant. *Clean restrooms *Can get busy when tour busses stop *Def will return

I should have gone sooner! Here are some tips: -Be prepared for a long line to get in when the weather's nice -Make sure you bring plenty of water and snacks! You can go for miles without any sort of vendor -If you're afraid of heights, prepare to be MORTIFIED. There are steep drops everywhere, so beware! If you have the time, this is something you should enjoy over a long weekend. You can spend hours walking around and driving between the countless parking lots and still only see a fraction of what it has to offer. A real contender for best park in America, if not the world.

You're not too mad and you're not too sane And you don't compare and you don't complain, All you do is just sit tight, 'cause it's all so, so, so, so down-right, right...:) We arrived at the South Rim very early, we parked in the Raven 1 Lot, up front, please remember where you parked..:) As you approach the edge of the Rim, You loose your breath in the exhilarating view of this Canyon. The Rock formations, the colour of the striations, the depth of the Canyon, with a River far below is quite mind boggling. We spent 6 hours exploring the South Rim from end to end. Free Shuttle busses help you make it back to the area of your car. Regardless of your age "you're a kid again"..:) As you hike, avoid stepping on loose dirt or rocks. We had no trouble. Our GranTyke liked our slower pace. We eventually made it to their Geology Museum which explains it all. This is a must destination for everyone. Simply the best, with no time restraints. Arriving very early gets you there before any crowds that might arrive. It was a slow day, so we had access to staff when needed. We avoided tours and did a self discovery trip so much fun and worthwhile. Bring lots of water and energy bars/food easy to grab and eat on the move. Though this was not our first trip to the Canyon, It was the First for our GranTyke, which made it seem like the first for us..:) Ha-ha-ha! Ho-ho-ho! And a couple of tra-la-las.. That's how we laugh the day away.. In The Merry Old Grand Canyon Best, Avram WizardOz Jr.
