They did a lunch catering to our office [today] of more or less 25 people at Torrance. They set the table so beautifully and the food is delicious! The representatives who serve us, Maria and Andres are so nice, polite and respectful. They arrived early and everything is beautifully set by lunch time. All we have to do is start eating! I have been remiss in writing this review as I have had The Grand cater many events over the past 6 months. Food: 5/5 Presentation: 5/5 Professionalism and timeliness: 5/5 Team members: they rate 10 stars out of 5, they are that good! Dan D'Sa, the director, is always accommodating and flexible when working with us. He encourages us to be creative if we are looking for something that is not listed on their menu. He ensures the food is always top shelf, not only the flavors and quality, but in presentation as well. The catering team is the star of the show, other than, of course, the food. Over the past 6 months, we have consistently had the pleasure of working with Carlos, Maria G, Maria M, Vanessa, & Jorge. This team are the ultimate professionals. Whatever is needed, I have confidence in everyone on the team and their ability to make our event perfect!. They have their set-up down to a science. Their displays are beautiful and colorful, and set in a timely manner. This team provides top-notch, proactive, professional service and we are confident and secure knowing our event is in their hands. Many a time we have needed an extra linen, napkins, or whatever, and they always had extra accessories on hand and were more than happy to accommodate our last minute requests. What can I say but wow!!! I reached out to this company to see if they would be able to make a special dinner for two. I was worried as I have a lot of dietary restrictions )gluten free vegan and allergic to certain nuts), but the other person in my party does not have any. I wanted an enjoyable experience for both of us and THEY CAME THROUGH! Wow!!! I can tell this company truly cares about their clients. From the minute I reached out to the date of the meal, I was greeted with professionalism and kindness. Devin really showed me that she cared for us! The experience was absolutely amazing. Maria was there to set up promptly and began dinner upon the arrival of the chef. They both followed COVID protocol and were extremely clean. The dinner was PERFECT! All of my dietary restrictions were followed and it still tasted amazing. The Brussels sprout and tomato bruschetta appetizer was to die for! Even my guest who doesn't frequently love veggies loved this. The portobello mushroom with the spinach, veggies, and rice pilaf was perfect! My guest was served steak and mashed potatoes with various veggies as well. The steak was perfectly cooked and he said that the mashed potatoes were the best he's ever had. Desert was vegan ice cream with peaches. I forgot to take a picture because it was SO delicious. They also plated all of our leftovers so that we had a second meal! I would recommend this company to everyone! The quality of the people and food are worth every penny and more! They are very reasonably priced and are willing to work with a budget. Grand Food & Beverage catered our backyard wedding. I want to start by saying, "wow!" The grand was so accommodating with adjusting the menu to our liking after doing a tasting; all suggestions were taken and executed as there were "no egos in the kitchen". Devin was great at communicating, answering any questions we had, and making any necessary changes needed. On the day of the wedding, both Devin and Carlos were present. The entire event ran so smoothly; I didn't talk to Devin or Carlos much on the actual day as there were no further issues or questions they needed me to answer so I got to mingle with guests all night. Their amazing team of staff was polite, hard working, and had smiles on their faces all night. As the bride, my drinks were constantly refreshed throughout the night and they made me feel like any request I had was reasonable. Overall, I highly recommend Grand Food & Beverage. Wow! I Just finished a three day wedding event in the Palm Springs area at The Morrow Ranch- The catering team wad amazing! The rehearsal dinner on Saturday evening was perfection! The filet mignon melted in your mouth and the Sea Bass was the best I have ever had. The wedding pizza and tacos were out of this world. Lastly the made to order omelettes and bloody mary bar were over the top Fernando Licea raised the bar on service - he went over and beyond anyones expectations every ( long) day. Wonderful service! Delightful staff! Beautiful furniture and tableware! Delicious food! We booked our daughter's wedding reception through Marissa Hofer. She attended our every request delightfully and with enthusiasm. When the staff arrived to set up they were directed efficiently by Fernando and Carlos. They even helped to decorate with a few extra pieces that we provided. The service staff - Maria, Jorge, Jorge, Gladys and Lorena - served our guests pleasantly with beautiful smiles and professionalism, including a champagne toast and cake service. I have also attended MANY special events at The Grand including weddings, fundraisers, and anniversary parties and they have all been fabulous. They have a variety of sizes and room lay-outs to pick from for your event. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant to work with.
