    Fresh naan

I've been here a total of three times for lunch buffet, each time bringing along someone over 70 that had never had Indian cuisine before. They all were wary at first but they all loved it! Having lived more than 10 years of my life through Central and Southern California where there's an abundance of ethnic foods to try, I was thrilled when this place opened. I hadn't had Indian food in a good 7 years! This did not disappoint. If you've never tried Indian food, buffet is the way to start. Most items on the buffet are gluten free and they are awesome about answering allergy questions and accommodating customers with menu items. The buffet changes daily giving you an opportunity to try new things along with favorites you'll discover. Different rices, noodles, veggies, chicken, goat or lamb, salads, chutneys, desserts, yum! The food is super fresh and packed with flavors you might not be able to identify but can't stop eating.and their fresh naan, I wish I could have gluten! Looks, smells, and I've been told is delicious! Very reasonably priced. It's very clean, modern yet comfortable and relaxed. The service is wonderful and they don't rush you out the door like many places.

5 out of 5! No doubt. My favorite restaurant in Amsterdam! Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, delicious food, super affordable, love the buffet... I can't say enough. It's a must try- especially if you're a vegetarian, like myself.

The well organized menu includes good descriptions and fair prices considering the high quality of the ingredients used. Orders can be placed online or by telephone. Parking is easy. Now that we have tried it, we are happy to have this recently opened take out restaurant three miles from home. We definitely will order again soon! The family enjoys Indian/Pakistani food locally, especially at Karavalli, Spice Malabar, and Shalimar in Latham. We think this food was as good as we have had there. A few dishes were even better. Each of us was very pleased with our food choices. Our order included: Pakora as an app. The raita was outstanding! Best I have ever had. Chicken Tikka Masala -- flavorful and with very tender moist pieces of white chicken. Chicken Buryani -- excellent Tandoori Chicken Beef Kabob Goat entree Lamb with Creamed Spinach -- tender meat with delicious spinach Dal Tadka -- lentils Garlic Naan I am including a few photos. They also offer DoorDash and GrubHub food delivery and online ordering for pickup. I placed my order online and headed over here and my food was ready bagged when I arrived. I ordered 2 Vegetable Samosas ($4.99 plus tax) and a Shrimp Biryani ($14.99 plus tax). The vegetable samosas were pretty good, which had a firm flaky crust shell filled with potatoes, seeds, spices & curry with a sweet & spicy dipping sauce and a yogurt dipping sauce. The shrimp biryani had a mild spicy flavor with 8 tender shrimp (with shells on) over soft rice mix. However, I did find a piece of goat meat in the mix, no biggie. Overall, pretty good food at a fair price.

But then the bill arrived... and suddenly I felt like I was skiing at Gore mountain and went off the right trail. Every entre we ordered magically secretly went up $2. Fish? +$2. Lamb? +$2. Garlic naan? +$0 (no bubbles). Onion naan? +$0 (also no bubbles). Same food, same table, same night -- just resort pricing. Apparently we were dining during peak season. Then we found out rice was already included with the entrées. That would've been great to know before we ordered extra food. A quick heads-up from the wait staff could've saved us from over-ordering -- kind of like knowing the lift ticket already includes access to that trail. When we asked about the price differences, we were told prices are "subject to change" and were shown a different paper menu with higher prices, complete with prices creatively crossed out and rewritten. Unfortunately, that was not the menu we were handed -- and I didn't realize I needed to check which "pricing tier" we were on. So yes -- great food. But dining here feels like skiing in New York: the conditions are nice, but the price jumps when you least expect it. My advice? Take a picture of the menu before ordering... or assume everything is black-diamond pricing. Proceed with caution Have fun!

I'm more attracted to non-fried food so the Grilled Haddock was right up my alley. This time I had that with the side order of baked beans and macaroni salad. Again I was not disappointed. My wife gave me the thumbs up on her food also. So I guess I did good. I read the review about the cleanliness. Let me say this, this place is clean. I'm sure they have food inspectors that come in and if it was not able to pass, it would not be open. On the other review which they gave one star, I don't know when this individual called in an order but must understand that you only have a certain amount of people working, trying to please their customers so you have to give them a break. Obviously they don't want to lose customers. If it is a certain time when people are calling in phone orders and coming inside for take out, things happen. Nobody is perfect unless you walk on water. I have been telling a lot of people about this place. Thank God I'm retired and can go there anytime I want. Now I don't have to make seafood at home anymore. The only thing I'll continue making at home is the baked Salmon. Going two days in a row, I guess I'm trying to make up lost time since he has opened up. I'm good with that for sure!
