My wife and I recently stayed at the Grand Pequot Tower at Foxwoods on a Thursday night. I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews because we thought our room was very nice. We had a room on an upper level floor with a great view. Everything was clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was that I reserved a room with a king, but they only had rooms with 2 queen beds. Annoying, but not terrible. The rate was very reasonable. With beautiful casinos and restaurants right downstairs, we both thought it was a really fun stay!

Rest assured before you enter your room, it has been properly sanitized. A sanitized seal is attached to your door to signify cleanliness. A quick run down of the hotel. PROS: 1. Reasonable price for the rooms on weekdays 2. Large LED TV screen with decent channels and pay per view options 3. Bed was firm and comfortable 4. HVAC worked flawlessly and kept the room comfortable 5. Vending and icing machines on the floor fully stocked 6. Safe, mini fridge, Hair dryer, iron and ironing board provided. 8. Elevators are quick to get you moving. CONS: 1. Dated furnishings and sheets. 2. Only 2 bottles of water provided in the room. 3. No glass or ceramic mugs provided (Covid restrictions?) 4. No USB ports 5. Funky light switch set up in room 6. The distance of the water faucet is installed too far back causing you to awkwardly bend your torso to place your face over the basin to wash your face 7. No Microwave in room and not available from housekeeping. 8. Room is too dark and could use an improvement with higher LED light equivalent bulbs. 9. No Pen or paper in room 10. I forgot my razor. During check in they had No complimentary shavers or toiletries available. 11. Gym, pool, arcade and some restaurants closed 12. Daily $25 resort fee charge, why? Since I cannot use any of the resorts amenities closed due to Covid. The Covid pandemic is real and affects us all. It must be especially challenging for hotel casinos. I hope when this pandemic is all over the Cons can be addressed to bring this place back to its glory days. Stay healthy and safe everyone.

The way they made reviews on this Tower seemed like it was so out dated but I loved this place. Hallways are so big. My room was clean and the view was nice being in the middle of the Puquot Tower. I loved my huge tub the water was nice and hot. I know people are use to the new bathroom with separate shower but this did just fine for me. This tower is close to everything in the Fox tower everything is a walk away far to get the goods. Pool is inside in this tower open for adult swim 2-6pm. Fox tower till 8pm and that's outside and a little walk away.

Took a short trip to Foxwoods for the weekend, and decided to stay at this hotel within the Foxwoods connected resorts. Prior to booking with this hotel I read up on some of the Yelp reviews and kind of knew what to look out for. My biggest concern was to be given a room next to rowdy-drunken guests (thankfully it didn't happen), or worst yet-unclean room. Check-in was quick and easy, requested a courtesy extended check-out time and staff was more than willing to accommodate. Stayed on the 17th floor, overlooking the luscious trees (very pretty). Room itself was spacious, and CLEAN! I still lysol down the tables and chairs myself though- Covid habit. I chose this particular hotel due to the indoor pool and since I took my kid here specifically for this purpose-glad I chose it. Pool was modern/clean and family friendly with huge bathroom/changing room. Foxwoods hotels also connects to Tanger Outlet mall, the casinos, and best yet a children's arcade for a couple of hours of kids' play. Walking around these connective Foxwoods hotels does get tiring, but there are eateries at every corner, so you can stop take a rest and grab a bite. My weekend here was very enjoyable, and relaxing. Overall, a good experience.

Jr suite. 1-1/2 bath. Comfortable for sure. Wet bar and nice living room

Easy valet parking. Easy check in. Nice upgraded room (jr suite). Great view on 20th floor. I'd stay here again. Easy to get too all the casinos from here smack in the middle if the whole place. Mid week was perfect. Not too crowded. Housekeeping was really good. Small noisy fridge at the wet bar but all in all very comfortable. Lots of games to choose from. Service overall was good. List my eyeglasses and the list and found people were good but security people were so less than helpful and responsive. Barely paying attention. The bell people were really good and helpful especially Linda. We will be back!

Company party was a disaster choosing this place. Huge to the point it's employees don't know where the rooms are! Phone service in the room is terrible. Bathroom tiles are filthy as well as clothes hangers. No amenities. If you're going there you're going to loose your money for gambling then sleep in a big prison cell with a bathroom and a window. Don't expect anything else.

I loved staying here. The staff, rooms and the spa were amazing. It was pricey, but a priceless weekend with friends is fun once in a while. More to come on the food and I'm not a gambler so there were no winnings just excessive fun!

Grand pequot. The pool area used to be beautiful. Now I'm afraid of what i might catch if I go in. The windows to the solarium were dirty.

Grand pequot used to he top notch. The hotel common areas had trash from the day before still hanging on window sills. Pool area has really been let go. Mildew everywhere and screaming childred playing ball in the pool. Staff no where to be found. Ordered room service for breakfast and twice was brought the wrong order. Waited over an hout and was offered $5 off? Complained at the front desk and had it comped as i still hadn't had breakfast. Was told to go to the horrible buffet but wasnt offered a voucher? I complained some more and was given a room credit for $20 which i wasted at the veranda breakfast buffet. Buffet had cold sausage, soggy bacon, and cheese blintzes which were pathetic. My plates were never cleared and my server was extremely hard to find. Morning ruined :/ Update: They asked me to reach out to them for what? This was there generic reply.   Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback about your recent stay at the Grand Pequot Tower. Foxwoods is always striving to provide a clean and enjoyable environment for our guests and I will share your comments with the Norwich Spa management. I apologize for the lack of customer service from our room service staff and that Veranda Café did not meet your expectations. We hope one of our other 30 dining options will be more enjoyable next time, including Cedar's Restaurant which also has a breakfast buffet.   Thank you again and we hope to visit us again soon.   C. It was the day after Thanksgivings and it wasn't too busy , check -in /check-out was a breeze no line. The hotel was clean ! The bed sheets smell like fabric softener , the bathroom was clean with bright lighting. There are plenty of outlets and charging ports in the room. Room had a fridge , microwave and a coffee maker. There was two bottled waters , unless you are a Hilton Member , do not drink the water , you will be charged $3.50 per bottle ! They have a small restaurant , during check we got a ticket for a free appetizer with the purchase of a cocktail or mocktail. For breakfast they offered 10% off any breakfast menu item , otherwise breakfast was buffet style. When we were checking out, there was complementary coffee and tea in the lobby. I would stay at the Hilton again , this was the only off site hotel I seen. It's convenient and close to the Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos as well as Tanger outlets. Front desk staff was helpful.

If you're going to Foxwoods it's super convenient, 5 min away. The restaurant in the lobby had a breakfast buffet for $16.95/person. Not sure if I'd stay again; pricey for what you got!

I'd like to highlight the first sentence in particular, if I may: "The Fox Tower offers a modern hotel experience." Modern, huh? It's funny to me because one of the first things we noticed after getting settled into our room was the TV. See, it was immovable - which in of itself isn't all that unusual. But it DOES immediately torpedo any hope of accessing something like, say....an HDMI port for guests to plug-in their iPad, laptop, or whatever to stream from. Speaking of streaming, it's totally impossible to do from these "modern" TVs. Because....they're not Smart TVs. Flat screens? Yes. WiFi ready? Not a chance in hell. Granted, my lament can be aptly filed under "First World Problems". But in 2026, ya gotta admit this is a pretty silly setback. It seems we also apparently got one of the few rooms with a non-functional desk lamp. That's assuming, of course, all the rooms don't suffer from this same issue. Not only were both outlets completely inoperable, the switch to turn on said lamp was missing. I guess the ostensible hole where the button USED to be should have been a warning sign, but....that's what I get for being slightly optimistic. I'd have swapped rooms if we were staying longer than a couple nights. Apart from those two anomalies, the room itself was fine. A bit overpriced due to the holiday weekend? Sure. But considering this IS a resort after all, I can just be grateful we're in Mashantucket and not Las Vegas. Now, for those unfamiliar with the Foxwoods lore, it's technically 3 hotels in one; two towers and a third dormitory known as "Great Cedar Hotel". This becomes apparent the minute you attempt to check into the wrong desk by accident like we did. So, bit of advice: whichever residence you book under, proceed to THAT respective lobby for check in. In hindsight, it seems so obvious. But at the time, we figured they were digitally interconnected. Based on that inventory, combined with the pricing options that populated from lowest to highest, we can safely assume The Fox Tower is the LEAST luxurious of the 3 contenders. That is to say, there are still aspects of luxury sprinkled throughout TFT. But the gaps become more noticeable as you glance at things like.. The In-Room Dining Menu: This one varies tremendously between TFT vs the other two choices. Whilst the former gets an abbreviated edition of Junior's Coffee Bakery's menu, the latter gets a 4 page, full course menu with far more enticing options. The In-house Restaurants: Nearly every fine dining or even remotely fancy restaurant required us to invariably leave TFT and walk all the way to the opposite side of the resort on the Great Cedar side. Not that we don't appreciate a good stroll every now and then. But this is something folks should know prior to booking. The Rooms themselves: Going off the site photos alone, it seems that maybe, just MAYBE....the latter two hotels probably have movable Smart TVs. Didn't realize the privilege of streaming your OWN subscriptions costs extra but...here we are. Oh, btw - their check-out process was plagued with technical difficulties. Ya know how almost every hotel allows you to check out digitally so you can just drop the keys off in the outbox (or better yet, leave them in the room as you exit)? Yeah, no. TFT epically fumbled this one because that email they sent me.....was broken. As in, I clicked the button (multiple times, mind you), only to be greeted by a blank page. Which meant we had to check-out the regular way. How do you #@$! up something as basic as check-out? Don't know! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It's not like our stay was bad, per se. But when it comes to ranking a resort that's clearly trying to be the Vegas away from Vegas, such consideration goes into my rating. That said, the biggest positives were the check-IN process, the staff, valet service, the extra layer of guest room security, and that huge ass bathroom. Plus, I must admit those dual shower heads were quite nice. Ultimately, we'll return to Foxwoods one day. Just not TFT. Far as luxury towers go, this one's pretty mid. If I'm gonna be paying millionaire prices, I may as well aim for the stars next time around. The Fox Tower is worth 3 spacious showers with dual heads out of 5.
