I was in need of window treatments for 2 sets of extra large sliding glass doors. I found Grand Valley Window Coverings on Yelp and was not disappointed. -I submitted an online request to see if they would be able to work with me -Harun called and was very familiar with the doors as he had done others in the neighborhood. He gave me his honest opinion about what will work based on his experience and also what he has tried in his own home. -When Harun came out (he wore a mask), he was spot on with his recommendations and provided me with 4 great options. I later received an email quote from Brandon in the office for all 4 and was advised that sample fabrics were being sent through the mail. -I opted for the Hunter Douglas Vertiglides for the doors. - Be advised that due to Covid, the Hunter Douglas factory is operating with a reduced staff so the treatments were delivered a little after the 5-6 week timeframe. Harun was great with calling to keep me updated. -The installer, Kirk, was professional, prompt and friendly. The doors look beautiful! I decided to go with Grand Valley Window Coverings because of all the great ratings, and I have to say, I am so thankful I did! All the people I dealt with at Grand Valley, including Brandon & Harun were absolutely fantastic and they went far beyond what any other company would have done. For my new house, I ordered Hunter Douglas Roller Shades for my great room, Horizons Roman Shades for all the bedrooms, and Graber wood blinds for our laundry room. The Hunter Douglas and Graber window coverings were absolutely perfect, but there were a few issues with the Horizon products, so Grand Valley went to bat for us, and they got Horizon to take back the first roman shades at no cost, and we ordered and received wonderful roman shades the 2nd time around. Brandon & Harun were amazing to fight for us, and their communication with us was superb! I don't even know where to begin. We were moving into our new home and got several bids for motorized roller shades. It gave us pause, as the bids were all over the place, for the same fabric selection and the same vendor. We were comparing apples to apples. Then I found Harun from Grand Valley Window Coverings. His approach to customer service is exemplary. He didn't push for our business, but at every step made us feel that he wants to provide what is best for us in terms of our budget and the shades. The service we received from Grand Valley was awesome! They came to our house two weekends ago and put together a beautiful combination of blinds, valences and curtains for this very decorator-challenged couple in about an hour and a half. They came back yesterday (only because that's when my wife could arrange to be home) and installed everything in about 2 hours. If we had to do it by ourselves, driving from store to store like we had to do for our furniture, we'd still be shopping. Overall the cost was probably close to or a little bit more than what we would have paid at a home store, but what it saved in stress and time is huge and it never would have looked this elegant if we did it. After getting many quotes for plantation shutters, we decided to go with Grand Valley Window Coverings. We read all the reviews and were very impressed with how a lot of the reviews noted how meticulous this company was both in measuring and installing. Although we are very easy to please when it comes to the actual product, we're very picky about what it looks like when it's finished. Brandon was very patient and explained the job from start to finish. He even advised us how the windows should be measured regardless if we used his company or not. He was priced slightly higher but competitively, so price was not a stumbling point in our decision. It all came down to customer service. He followed up on everything from deposit to installation and kept us informed the whole way. The delivery date was accurate and we were able to plan painting and repairs to our new house around their installation date. When you're dealing with multiple vendors, everyone knows how difficult coordinating things can be. George and his team were awesome and installed the shutters with absolute precision, measuring, measuring, measuring, everything was perfect and our house was neat and clean when they left, they even took away all the old broken shades that were on the windows.
