My wife's entire front tooth broke and fell out and we were in town for a family funeral. However, when I was taken to the room, the assistant said it would actually be $309. When I asked why, she said, "It's just a $10 difference," which is not true -- it's $19. I told her I would be paying cash (no insurance) and that I didn't appreciate the price changing before we even started. She said she would go check the price and never came back. After 40 minutes, I went out myself and found her just standing there. She said they had increased the prices and that the front desk "didn't know." Then the doctor, Robert Huggins, came in and said prices were higher because I made the appointment "a month ago." That's not true -- I scheduled it three days before. He apologized and agreed to honor the original $290 price, and even said he'd do it for $280. He gave me anesthesia at 11:10 a.m. and said he would start in a few minutes. But he didn't come back for almost an hour -- until 11:55. By that time, the anesthesia was already wearing off. When I told him this was unacceptable, he said, "You're right, I should've told you to come next week, because I'm too busy today." Then he gave me two options: he said he could either start right now and finish everything in 15 minutes, or reschedule me for another day. So basically, after sitting in that chair for three and a half hours, hungry, numb, and ignored, he suddenly decided my treatment could be rushed in just 15 minutes. That's not normal, and it's absolutely unacceptable. Even though it was an emergency for me and I decided to let him fix the tooth that day, I left the clinic completely drained and disappointed. No one offered water, no one apologized. At the end, he gave me a $50 discount, and I ended up paying $618 in total. I will never come back to this place again -- and I don't recommend it to anyone who expects respect, honesty, and professionalism

Instead of helping, the woman on the phone flat-out called me a liar and insisted someone had called me "numerous times," which absolutely did not happen. That alone was enough to ensure I'll never return. The dental side isn't any better. You never get the same hygienist, even if you specifically request one. There seems to be extremely high staff turnover. The same goes for the dentists--you never see the same one twice, which makes continuity of care nonexistent and confidence in treatment very low. Overall, the customer service is terrible, the office is disorganized, and the experience is frustrating and unpleasant. There are plenty of dentists in Myrtle Beach--do yourself a favor and choose literally any other one.

They do not use anesthesia but Dr. H made sure I was numb and felt no pain, only some pressure, and it was done in no time. Fast forward 1.5 years, I shouldn't have waited so long but I just had my permanents made and I couldn't be happier. The price again was very low and I can't imagine them being more comfortable. I feel that Melinda was my angel, from impressions to the final adjustments she nailed it. I can't be happier and so glad I went there from start to finish.
