Beware!! I have never experienced such unprofessionalism in my life!! I had an appointment for a root canal in August, my appointment was on a Monday. Friday morning I get a text to confirm my appointment, and I did that. A couple of hours later I get a text canceling the appointment saying that the "Dr." Would be out of the office so call to reschedule and btw call as soon as possible to reschedule because we are scheduling 5 weeks out! Don't you think they would try to fit you in as soon as possible beings THEY canceled the appointment???Nope!! They made it impossible to speak to someone and for over a month I left messages when I could because most of the time you get a message saying the mailbox is full and it hangs up on you!!! I finally got a call back from Tiffany saying they still weren't in the office after a week and a half and she assured me that someone would call me to a set up appointment when they get back in the office. So I waited another week before I started to call again still not able to reach an actual person. Finally after 3 weeks I talk to a person named Janet, she was a nice woman who tried to help get the ball rolling.She gave me an appointment for Oct 25th which was still about a months wait. I called several times and spoke with Janet concerning questions about the appointment. I then gave her my insurance information. 2 days before my appointment I sent in my preregistration that they had sent through text. I called that day also to make sure they received my referral and X-rays from dentist that I was told they needed for my appointment. Well, the day before my appointment Tiffany called and left a message saying that she had no insurance information for me and told me what the total was including a consultation, X-rays and the actual root canal ( without insurance). I tried calling her back and there was a message on her mailbox saying they were out of the office because of medical sickness. I left a message and she did not call back ( surprise!) So the day my appointment was supposed to be on i was a work, see I had a missed call from her(no message) so I call her back, again getting a message that the office was closed for a medical sickness. I was confused at this point not knowing what was going on. So I leave another voicemail. After a couple hours of her not returning my call I called the other number for the office, I was informed that it was in fact open and they transferred me to Tiffany, she insisted that she had no insurance information for me at her desk( wouldn't want her to have to look) so I stopped what I was doing at work and got my insurance card which I used at the dentist who referred me to them). She called me back about 2 minutes later laughing, saying oh I know what the problem is, we aren't in your network!! At this point I'm SO angry!!'n I have waited a total of 5 months because I waited 2 months before THEY canceled my first appointment!!! Not to mention Tiffany informed me that they had to take more X-rays so then why didn't they insist they needed the first set that the dentist took??? I'll tell you why, so they can charge your insurance again for "special " X-rays!!! Never in my life have I seen a Business that is an aspect of healthcare be so unprofessional and unorganized! read more

Cons: - the front desk gives wrong information about prices. I was waiting for the appointment for a root canal for 5 weeks. During this time I've called them 3!! times to ask the price for root canal retreatment. Cause I don't like to get any money surprises after the visit. They said one price. But after the visit, they charged me $135 extra. Very disappointing. And no way to find who is right who is wrong now... - NO ONE tells you before the procedure that they put only a temporary filling for a MONTH and you need to go to your dentist for that. They give you the paper saying this only after the work is done. Which is another surprise for those who aren't familiar with all dental procedures. Another $1500 to spend..... - they took me inside just 1 hour after my appointment time Pros: - the root canal is done vast and very accurate. No pain, no complaints about the endodontist - the endodontist's assistant is so attentive and caring. Very professional read more

Needed a root canal. Made sure Intercoastal Endo took my new insurance(Delta Dental). My initial appointment last month had to be postponed due to the Dr. being ill, but finally had my procedure done this past Monday. I only have nice things to say about Dr. Conard and his assistants, Rachel and Lydia. All were very professional and explained in detail everything they'd be doing and what I was going to be experiencing. The best part, No Pain! The office was clean and the appointment ran right on schedule. Highly recommend. read more

Needed a root canal. Met with Dr. Conrad and staff. Very professional and explained each step of the procedure. My insurance ended up paying more than they originally thought so they sent me a check for the difference. Nice to find honest people. I made an appointment some weeks ago and was very specific about my needs due to medical issues. Thought the ladies at the front desk were very nice, the older hygienist was very rude when I expressed my concerns about what she was doing. Then after finding out that they could NOT meet the needs I had expressly and specifically requested when I made the appointment, I was going to leave. As I was getting out of the chair, my I lost my balance, so touched one of the arms of the equipment trying not to fall, crazy lady started fussing at me about how expensive the equipment was! And I am handicapped! Never mind me falling on the floor for god sake's just don't touch the equipment. Nobody apologized about her rudeness or the lack of communication that caused me to have to cancel my appointment and leave. I wouldn't step a foot back in that office if my teeth were falling out. read more

We are going to Mt. Pleasant, SC today, taking my grandson out of school early to travel an hour and a half one way. Why? Because Mark Conard in the space of a week, choose to refuse to accept Medicaid. An appointment was made, they knew he would be using Medicare for his treatment. Then, all of a sudden, Medicare was no longer accepted! What blatant discrimination. Either the employees are extremely confused or there is a case of discrimination against a child who is in pain and depends upon Medicaid for help. This poor treatment must be publicized to warn others that this dental office has some serious issues. By the way, someone should remove the telephone from the rude, uncaring person who has zero customer skills. What a sad office this must be in which to work. But, good news! The dental office in Mt. Pleasant is exactly that-PLEASANT! Good, kind people. read more

Dr. Conard and his staff at Intercoastal Endo are the best. Suffering from the effects of a tooth fracture, Dr. Conard offered to stay late on a Friday afternoon and perform an impromptu root canal on the aching tooth. I left the office pain free, and am deeply grateful for his, and his staff's professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile to address my issue. read more
