Food = The food is generally good. However, the menu is different at each Breckenridge brewery and this one leans toward spicier offerings. My only (BIG) disappointment so far was the Creme Brûlée -- the custard underneath was cold and runny. [One star deducted for limited variety and disappointing dessert.] Service = Always friendly, often prompt. They will generally go above-and-beyond like make menu item changes, add condiments, substitutions, etc. Ambience = It's a brewery. It's spacious, sometimes loud, and is for general audiences. They also have an outdoors area which often has some sort of entertainment (often with food trucks) or reserved event. Beer = It's a brewery. The beer options are plentiful and their own lineup is pretty tasty. I'm not a fan of IPAs but everything else is generally good. Location/Parking = The location off of Santa Fe is easy to access. However, parking can be a challenge sometimes. They have a lot of gravel, overflow parking which accommodates for how busy they can be. read more

I would say a solid spot for groups, beer, outdoor space and great food, but, they have a pretty glaring issue. They do not serve French fries and other common items outside - They have only a reduced menu, because, as a server said, the kitchen can't keep up. Given the wonderful space outside, it's really a problem you can't get certain things outside, and they will refuse to serve them to you at the bar if you intend on bringing them outside. Really disappointing and enough of a bummer to turn some folks off of it. I do expect more of such a large and successful brewery. If you sit inside, you'll have a wonderful time and enjoy everything you have. read more

I was here for my friend's birthday and had an exceptional experience. I was able to taste a couple of interesting beers and then decided to order a couple of Ridgerunner IPAs. That is one of my favorite IPAs, but I've never had it at the actual brewery. For food, I ordered the little farmer cheeseburger from the kids menu lol. I didn't want a lot of food so it ended up being the perfect amount and came with some of the best french fries I've had. I tend to be very picky with french fries but these ones came out hot and fresh and were exploding with the flavor and deliciousness. I was here with a large group, so gratuity was added automatically which made for convenience. The brewery is huge. And on a Wednesday night was busier than I would've expected. After sitting down and having some beer and food, I definitely understand why. I really enjoyed my experience here and we had great service so I would definitely be back. read more

Came in for a bite to eat and a beer as the start of our FC brewery tour. The French Dip is the special on Fridays and the staff said it was fantastic, but we found it to be a bit dry. We also got the HH 1/2 order of nachos, which were just ok, nothing to write home about (probably the cheese that grossed me out), but the jalapeños were fresh and fire! The guy next to us did say that he thinks the chicken tenders are the best in town. ‍ We thought the beer is ok, but definitely not our favorite of the day. read more

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Great service, with good food and beers. Our party of four were the first ones in for lunch, and were seated by the huge gorgeous fireplace. I started things off with the Breck bloody, which was nice and crisp. The hubby got a hazy IPA, which he enjoyed. We ordered the following: - cast iron bread to share (was like a giant biscuit, with a great slightly smokey butter and homemade jam) - mushroom puttanesca (great sauce, but the pasta was a bit over cooked) - Mac and cheese (excellent) - side of boiled green beans seasoned with salt and pepper (exactly as it's described--no more, no less) Our server was great, and the general mood was very congenial. As an original Wisco, we love our Friday Fish Fry and love it even more when there's a large patio to wash your dinner down with a cold beer especially after riding your bike for a few miles. We were really impressed with the food. We knew their drinks were great but they didn't skimp out on food quality either. This will likely be my new go to for Friday Fish Fry as I keep up with my Wisco tradition. Definitely meets the WI standard of great beer and fish fry. Love this brewery! They have a massive outdoor area in the grass with tons of tables to sit when it's warmer out. The bartenders are super nice and helpful. This was my first time visiting this location and previously had been to the one in Breck. This place is huge first of all and they staff is great! We got several things when we cam and it was all yummy. The Cast Iron Bread to me tasted just like cornbread only better! The chili cheese fries and wings were so good and are definite must when coming here. The wings were crispy and the buffalo sauce was amazing. The chili on the fries was really good too and I for sure need the recipe. The burger was meh and I think could have had more seasoning or something cause it was just blah. Now the ribs and mac and cheese though were both phenomenal and tasted amazing! I love this restaurant and thought it was a great place to stop and just have a nice meal and drink. read more

Fun brewery tour -- we've been on it a few times before (this is a good places to bring out-of-town visitors), and it's always enjoyable, and not just for the copious free samples. The Farmhouse restaurant across from the tour room is a fine place to go afterwards. Mostly burgers and sandwiches (and, of course, a wide variety of beer), decent portions, okay service, kind of loud, but the interior is nice and cool during the summer. We'll almost certainly be back with more visitors. read more

Breckenridge Brewery is one of Colorado's proudest establishments. Although we went here with the intent to have a few beers (only) we were encouraged to do the brewery tour spontaneously (at the last minute) by a lovely young lady upfront. She said that the tour had just started so we might possibly miss the first 5-10 minutes of it but we really didn't care so after we were rushed by being led by her to the brewery tour building right in front of the Farm House (where we had our beers prior). Once we reached the tour group, we met with our wonderful tour guide, a young man in his mid-20's named Hance. Quick gist of the tour before I go into our tour experience: -Lengthy of the tour: is about 45 minutes (approximately) -Cost: Only $5 -Perks(s): Free selfie photo booth at the last point of the tour which you'll get a copy of it by entering your email in the machine and a free beer of your choice at the reception when you pay for your tour Hance, a young Texan who had been a tour guide at Breckenridge Brewery for only 3 days were thoroughly educated in the Breckenridge's history. There was no stutter in his speech throughout the tour. He always asked us if we had any questions at the end of each segment of it. All the beer making information he had shared with us was too "above-my-head" to comprehend. Maybe I will do the tour in a year or so to ensure I will have a good understanding of its history and their state-of-the-art way of making beers. So with all of this said, If you have time when you go here next time, I highly recommend this tour. I would like to go back to our bar dining experience prior to the tour a little bit. We sat at the bar. If you go here with a small group of people (no more than 3) then bar seating is the best option (unless you want to be outside in the lawn to soak up the sun or listen to the live music etc.) We got all kinds of attention from several different hardworking bartenders for all of our bar needs. I got the "ST Lemon Shandy Wheat" in the smallest glass; he got the "Avalanche" in the pint glass. He then went for another one ("Juice Drop" which is a hazy IPA) after "Avalanche". All of them check the kind of refreshingness (is this a word? Well, you know what I mean, right??) and the overall IBU level that wasn't too bitter for our palates. Since the temperature outside (on the past Father's Day Sunday) hit the 90's, having an ice-cold beer (although I'm more of a wine person) with some fruitiness was something that cooled our minds and souls. Including the tour, we spent a nice chunk of the afternoon being at this establishment for about 4, 5 hours. Good ambience where the background music's volume was just right where it wasn't a distraction to our (or anybody's) conversation(s). Lively and yet we could still hear each other. We enjoyed our relaxation time which made us reluctant to leave. P.S. We didn't order any food items so we can't speak for that; maybe next time. read more

We had our friend group monthly meet up here and it was the perfect spot for all our toddlers to play while the parents got to talk and enjoy a beer! The food is solid for brewery food and there's always a lot of great drink options. This place is HUGE. There's a tasting room, sprawling outdoor space with picnic tables, corn hole, a stage, multiple outdoor trailers pouring beer, and beautiful views. There's a large restaurant too with rooms of seating both tables, a large bar, and other seating to accommodate large group hanging out for a beer. I had the fried chicken sandwich and the chicken was well prepared and delicious. I built a flight and tried a stout, Porter, IPA, and lager so there was a variety of pours options. It'd be a nice place to come with friends and hangout outside they had nice area with sprayers to keep people cool. read more

We hosted our rehearsal lunch in the tour tasting room & it was perfect for our group of 40+! We got so many compliments on the atmosphere, food, and ability to host indoor + outdoor. We loved that it was fully private + the fire place outside. The staff made it so easy and were super attentive the entire time. Before we left the Breckenridge brewery representative had kindly packed up all our food in to go boxes for us. 10/10 spot for a rehearsal dinner. read more

Something is definitely consistently wrong at this restaurant. I don't think they have the appropriate systems in place or enough staff to effectively run a restaurant. Nobody greeted us after we were seated. The manager stopped by and apologized and had to send someone over. Our food had been sloppily put together and rushed (hard broccoli, burnt meatloaf, unchopped kale salad in a small plate with no knife), or our waitress did not communicate the order correctly to the back of house. The manager handled these issues well by comping us beers, but this never should have happened. Something is definitely wrong here and upper management needs to step in. All in all, things tasted good and we'll be back when we come back. read more

What a great evening at Breckenridge Brewery with family while visiting Denver. We did the brewery tour and learned so much about the brewing, history, locations and history of this fabulous operation. The story of the founders was pretty impressive as well. Our tour guides were very informative, happy and ready to guide us with enormous energy and smiles. The variety of beers was quite interesting and flavorful. We then moved into the restaurant for dinner with a great room and perfect atmosphere, plenty of TV's showing the college games in both the dining room and bar area. Our waiter Jeff B was fantastic and helpful answering every question with his wit and guiding us with choices, well done w Jeff B! Our food was amazing and so many choices from the menu, dishes came out warm and plentiful. Such a great time and our belly's were full. Staff in every aspect was amazing warm and friendly, walking out we saw the patio lighted with chairs and a fire pit for future. Our tour guide in the brewery mentioned multiple events and Oktoberfest festivals grown each year. The menu is interesting and the beer selection is amazing and our food was good. We were not impressed with the service. I only tip 20% as I was once in the service industry, so I get it. Today, I tipped 15. Our server took our order and then we never saw him again. I tried to flag him down for the check, but that was unsuccessful. As he passed the table, I actually used his name "G" to get his attention . He turned and raised his finger ( like a school teacher) to summarily tell me to wait. It was unexpected and unnecessary. We've always loved this restaurant and regularly visited when traveling to Colorado, which makes this experience disappointing. My children have eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), so we rely heavily on accurate menu labeling. This visit, a dish labeled vegan/plant-based was served with yogurt and was initially confirmed as vegan before later being corrected. Additionally, salmon ordered grilled with no butter appears to have been prepared with butter. Although staff tried to correct the mistake quickly, the exposure has triggered an EoE flare, and my daughter will now be unable to eat solid foods for several weeks. We had hoped to make this a family tradition and share this feedback in hopes of more careful attention to allergy and vegan markings in the future. read more

Wanted to pick up a couple local offerings while on a work trip but ended up staying because the ambiance was just so welcoming. I sat outside the enjoy the nice weather with the flight and board. The local cheeses weee so good I wanted to purchase some to take home but they would definitely spoil. I highly suggest getting the flight if you're thinking about getting some bottles because I had considered a couple bottles based on the name but ended up going with different bottles after tasting. I used to go there almost every weekend with my dog to hang out on the lawn, have a beer and now you have reduced the size of your beers by a third and you're still charging the same amount of money! We weren't impressed with the food cart options so decided to snag a table inside for dinner. Service was alright. The WINGS- wow. Favorite part of the whole meal. Should have gotten those over the ribs for my meal because I absolutely devoured them. The ribs were great, but the wings (and the chunky blue cheese!) were next level. Ate at Breckenridge Brewery last night and it did not hit the mark. Service was good. We were seated within 10 minutes and, Jeff, our server was friendly. I ordered the Smoked Turkey sandwich and thought it would be pretty good since it's smoked in-house but the flavors just weren't there. I didn't taste smoked turkey and it was covered in flavorless cheese and overcooked mustard greens. The bread was also bland and not toasted so ended up making the sandwich even more uneventful. Unfortunately, I didn't capture a photo before I started eating but not missing much. I ate most of the fries because I was hungry but they're nothing to rave about. I have eaten at BB before and had no complaints so I'm hoping it's just this particular dish that could use improvement. read more

The Farm House pub at Breckenridge Brewery has a nice, open atmosphere. The beer selection is excellent, and the beer is good. The food, is below average in quality. We had the meat and cheese board, and it was AWFUL. The sandwiches are overpriced for the quality served. The service was average at best. There isn't a waitress that comes by the bar tables, you order at the bar. The waitresses that brought the food were nice and courteous. The staff at the door were friendly. I don't recommend as a restaurant to stop in for a good experience. read more

We do think this is a good place, especially if you can get there before 5 for the happy hour. We are vegetarians so we often get the falafal. This time it was overcooked and the pita was dry and hard. When Christina asked us how the meal was, we told her the falafal was dry and the pita hard. She then schooled us on falafal always being dry, which we know is not true. It would have been easy to just thank us for the feedback and relay the info to the kitchen. Service- average Food- Muffaletta focaccia bread so salty I couldn't hardly eat it. Fair amount of cold cuts but that's what it felt like- no character and not enough tapenade. Needed something else and the bread was not good at all- overwhelmingly salty. Crowd: Loud either employees sitting at the bar or regulars -every other word was the eff word. Lots of details about being drunk and driving and an overall conversation that was not super interesting at decibel levels that could have come down, a lot. I don't frequent this place and I remembered why today. Much prefer Angelo's. read more
