I walked into this store quite by accident, because I didn't look through the many clear windows or…read moreeven at the store sign before I walked in. The many scents that hit my nose as soon I opened the door hit me hard, but in a good way! I, at first, thought I was in a soap store, Candlefish is at the north end of Ponce City Market close to the parking lot. It's a nice, open, bright space, with welcoming and friendly employees. After I realized that it was multiple various candle scents that I was smelling at the same time, a smiling employee came to me, and told me to let her know if I needed any help and if she could help me find anything. I told her that I was just looking. After picking up a variety of candles, such as mimosa, pina colada, Bloody Mary, and others, and smelling each of them, the candles started smelling similar. Not that they actually did smell similar, it's just that the scents throughout the store were just overwhelming me. This was my queue to leave. I will most likely be back to take a closer look at what Candlefish has. The store smelled really nice.

The concept of this location is absolutely brilliant. The candles do not have names but numbers…read more They do this so you do not have an opinion on a candle based on the ingredients. One thing I found very amazing is the fact that they have candle workshops, where you can make your own candles. They have over 100 scents you can choose from. If you love good smells you need to come here.

The little touches made the experience even bette; doublesided tape to help place your candle wick (my long nail girls get it), scent cards so you can recreate your custom candle later, and conversation cards at each table. Know before you go: parking is rough. I recommend using the paid lot behind the studio instead of trying to squeeze into the main parking lot. It was well worth it. Overall, such a fun experience.

Ehh, not the best, but it is definitely worth it and it was free. I was invited here for a real estate event. Don't know how I got on the list, but I'm not going to question a free experience in the A. This place is divided into two sections. One section for body scrubs and butters and the other for candles. We chose the candle experience. It was really fun! Very engaging and interactive. There was plenty of staff readily available to assist you with any questions you had. Regular price would have been $43.56 per person, but even then it would have been worth it. The whole experience lasted an hour or two if even. You'll have to forgive me, there was some alcohol involved in the process which made everything all the more lively. The owner is the sweetest! She made sure to connect with everyone. The candle aroma oils were expansive and you could quite literally create just about anything and everything you could think of, including any of the premade candles (available for purchase) on the walls. The best part? You get to name and keep your candle to take home. 10/10 ATL experience. Highly recommend.

At the end of the session, we were told the candles would take about two hours to set. However, we were also informed that they would be closed on Monday, so we stayed in contact throughout the week to coordinate a pickup. Unfortunately, we've attempted to pick up our candles on three separate occasions, and each time the business was closed. I also reached out via email and never received a response. After multiple attempts with no communication and no way to retrieve the candles we paid to make, the experience became very frustrating. While the class itself was fun, not receiving the finished product completely changed my overall impression. It felt very unprofessional and, honestly, a bit scammy. I hope they improve their communication and ensure customers can actually receive the products they've paid for
