I never have to think what I want to eat because Jodeci always has a suggestion waiting. Her smile and personality lights up the room and makes for a memorable experience. Sav is one of my favorite bartenders. She's quick, fun, easy to talk to and seems to always be in a good mood & smiling. Which is great when playing keno. I can sit at the bar for hours when she works. & not to mention I love her espresso martinis. Kyle is a new bartender at Cirtrus & he has quickly becoming one of my favorites as well. He's super friendly & just overall a cool dude. He can talk to you about anything and guarantee plenty of laughs. Now his specialty drink is an old fashion. Now to Hannah, the hostess. She's warm and friendly as soon as you walk through the door & still the same way as you are leaving. When it gets busy she is always helpful to her co-workers. As I've heard this ALoft is a very new hotel, and it shows (in a good way!). They have a nice ambiance and between their furniture and the rest of the ALoft lobby, there is a pool table, there are board games and TVs, there's also an outdoor patio to take drinks. I've tried their food once, their burgers were pretty good. For drinks, I tried one of their seasonal Smoked Old Fashioned's (made with Buffalo Trace) which was pretty good and a good price ($13), as well as their frozen drinks (pina coladas and strawberry daiquiris, $15 each). Two different bartenders worked my drinks this trip and they both did a good job. I've enjoyed hanging out in Vegas off-strip and Henderson, I still have a fun time, I've gotten good food and drinks that weren't so pricy. Before ordering, we specifically asked our server, Crystal, whether choosing two flavors for a single hookah would still cost $40 or if it would be $80. Since we only wanted one hookah, we wanted to make sure we understood the pricing. Crystal went to ask her manager and came back with waters but never answered our question. We had to ask her twice before she finally said, "Don't worry, he said he'll do it." Based on that response, we reasonably believed we were ordering a single $40 hookah with two flavors. When the bill came, we were shocked to see we had been charged $80 for one hookah. If there was an extra charge for adding a second flavor, that should have been clearly explained before we ordered, not left as an unpleasant surprise at the end, that made us felt totally BLINDSIDED. To make matters worse, the menu states that an automatic gratuity is only added for parties of five or more. There were only three of us, yet an 18% gratuity was automatically included on our bill anyway. The entire experience felt misleading. We were left feeling overcharged and taken advantage of.
