On our way to Grandfather Mtn........found this little restaurant located right off the highway 105, almost drove by it. Big parking lot. Casual diner ambiance. Had to wait 10 - 15 min. for a table (on a Saturday) but they are super organized. Great service! Recommend the stuffed French toast.

Stuffed French toast

It solidly did the job. We stopped in during mother's day and was seriously worried of where we could find brunch. No issues here. It is seat yourself, so we opted to sit outside. There is corn hole and a bunch of picnic tables spread out. Brunch wise, I ordered a ham biscuit and Hubs got the corned beef hash with grits and biscuits. We shared the stuffed French toast given the favorable reviews. The food arrived and the biscuit looks so tiny that I'm glad we got the French toast, too. Despite being small, the biscuit was solid with pieces of southern country ham. The French toast include sandwich bread with strawberry cream cheese grilled in between, with strawberries and blueberries around the plate. It's an interesting take on French toast, which we approved. As for the corn beef hash, it was standard fare, nothing to rave about. The grits were a bit bland and needed more time. All in all, glad we stopped by.

Our breakfast was good and service was great. We enjoyed the views as well. We would be back!

All day breakfast!

Rise and shine! Time for breakfast. Actually, no need to rush because breakfast is served at all times at the Grandview restaurant. On the last day of my mountain trip, my friend and I decided the night before that we would get breakfast. Well, it snowed! We had to wait until later for it to melt some, but it was no issue since they were still serving it up there. Inside it's just your simple diner vibes, pretty large but not quite as many tables as it looks from the outside. Everyone was super friendly, and inside seemed like it was a go to spot for people. I ordered the "Grandview Morning" which included 2 eggs, hashbrowns (my favorite), and toast. Pretty standard, can't mess up. I was satisfied and ready to tackle the day and drive home.

Came again today and it was even better than last time! Try the tater cake instead of hash browns or grits. Totally leveled up my breakfast ! Service was great.

So I forgot to take a pic of my food when arriving, I did however show you as my daughter's would say a "Happy Plate". This place is very cozy. Our server Jess was amazing. Maybe cuz she's from California. This place has a very homie feeling. I would recommend this place to everyone. I know I'll be coming back.

"Grilled cheese"
Alex L.

Was hopeful when I read the reviews and sadly wrong. Service was so slow and I understand being short staffed but they just seemed miserable working there. The soda was flat, the food was atrocious. You can see from the photo the grilled cheese wasn't melted. It was two pieces of cold cheese between burnt bread, thick onions and tomatoes. I was hesitant to leave this type of review since we love supporting small businesses but there's no way the owners could know that this was happening. I hope they weren't there and take this in and speak to their staff and cooks. Still thinking about the taste of the unmelted cold cheese in my mouth

Close to the turn for Seven Devils of 105.

The Venue The experience begins long before the first bite. A winding drive through a ranch-like entrance sets a tone of quiet anticipation, leading to a stunning property that feels both secluded and intentional. Valet parking is seamless, and from that first interaction, the service establishes a standard of excellence that carries throughout the evening. The Food The prix fixe menu is a true celebration of farm-to-table cuisine. Each dish is thoughtful, seasonal, and executed with remarkable precision. No two plates felt repetitive; instead, each course revealed a new perspective, a new technique, a new flavor story. We were told the menu evolves constantly with the seasons--aside from the bread, which thankfully remains a constant. And rightly so: it is nothing short of spectacular. While every course impressed, one dish remains unforgettable--the chocolate wasabi ice cream. Initially, we hesitated. Wasabi in a dessert seemed implausible, even risky. Yet our server confidently assured us it was exceptional--and his personal favorite. Trusting his expertise proved rewarding. The result was revelatory: balanced, nuanced, and utterly addictive. So much so that after finishing both desserts, we wished we had ordered a second serving of the chocolate wasabi alone. It was a moment of culinary brilliance we will not soon forget. The Service If the service could be described in one word, it would be excellence. Attentive without intrusion, knowledgeable without pretense. One gentleman, distinguished by his accent and effortless professionalism, stood out as a true asset to the establishment. Service of this caliber elevates the entire experience. Final Thoughts Living five hours away is almost unfortunate--but also an invitation. This meal alone is reason enough to return to the Appalachian Mountains more often. We are grateful to have experienced such a memorable and inspired expression of modern cuisine. Thank you for an evening we will long remember.

Without reservations we were seated outside without a wait, I'd recommend making a reservation though. We split a NY Strip medium, a baked potato with all the fixings, & creamed spinach. Looking forward to our next opportunity to sneak away from the kids and have a steak at Stonewalls.

My son's sprite came out quickly, and the bar drinks followed. I loved my holiday punch drink! The restaurant was still decorated for Christmas, but it made it more charming since we are in town to ski for the weekend. She brought out bread, but it wasn't warm, so that was odd. My son and husband still ate it; I did not. The escargot was ok ; not as good as other places we have had it. The fried deviled eggs were INSANE. We loved them so much. My son got the ribeye and a baked potato. He ordered it medium rare, and it was more on the rare side, but he still enjoyed it. As he kept eating, it cooked up a little bit. He ended the night with a cinnamon roll bread pudding with ice cream and caramel. The server lit a candle in it. Overall, we had a great time!

After looking at our choices of restaurants for breakfast we chose Bella's, our wait was as long as it took to wipe down a table across from the side entrance. The hostess was very outgoing and struck up a conversation while leading us to our table, our server continued the hospitality as she took our drink order and made a few recommendations. The restaurant was busy being it was nearly filled but it appeared like us no one waited on anything the service here was outstanding. We both order different versions of the egg plate one with two eggs over medium, link sausage, creamy grits and an over-size biscuit, the other one egg scrambled, fresh made home fries, country ham and a biscuit. The food was outstanding and delivered to our table hot from the kitchen just waiting for a fresh pat of real butter for the grits and biscuits. The service was nice and attentive. It definitely is a smaller mom and pop type of restaurant but very fun! The TVs had good variety of Olympics and College basketball playing on them so you can catch whatever game or event you want to watch. Now on to the food! To start we got the onion rings. They were cooked very well and I liked the breading of them. I do wish they came with some house dipping sauce or maybe a spicy ranch just to dip them in. They do have ketchup to use but I just feel with onion rings you need some type of spicy ranch or aioli dip with them. Now onto the Fries! I love me some crinkle cut fries and once I saw they had them I needed to get them! They are pillowy with a slight crunch on the outside. They have salt and pepper at the tables to use I do like a bit of old bay or something of that nature on crinkle cut fries that would be my only critique. Now Burger time! I got a patty melt which had onions, cheese burger patty and I put mayo on it. I enjoyed it a lot I do wish the onions weren't red onions and that they would've been caramelized. But the burger itself was seasoned and cooked to perfection! The bread it was on as well was a good rye bread and blended well with everything. The hamburger with jalapeños was good as-well the only critique on that would be the bun. If it had a different bun it would take it to the next level I think. For playing Pool they charge by the hour I believe and the prices were very good! Overall a great little spot to go chill and eat while watching or playing pool and not having to burn a hole in your wallet! I would definitely recommend!
