Sloooooow service through the drive thru and I mean super slow. I ordered 18 rolls as a treat for the office. They're going to think I don't like them after eating these. My first job out of high school was Grandy's and I remember those Sinnamon rolls...they were big and delicious! These were hard as a rock, as in STALE. I can't believe you sold them to me this way (or anyone else for that matter!). And you charged me for 18 but gave me 17. HUGE disappointment. I don't know who owns or runs this place now but the guy who used to run it NEVER would have let product like this leave his store. That was a complete waste of $36! read more

So sad! It was a long Monday and all I wanted was some comfort food. We have been here before, but earlier in the day. Today we went closer to 7pm. Took our food to go. Chicken fried chicken was so dry and hard to cut into. The edges were so hard. There was hardly any gravy so it's not like it would soften up. Our rolls were hard. The top part was the only part I could pinch off, barely. You could tell all of it had been sitting out for hours. Eating out is not cheap and while this didn't break the bank, it's still my hard earned money. So disappointed. We also waited for some tenders to get cooked and they were also less than satisfying. Well...I grew up on Grandy's. This location had a really bad, bad night. This restaurant has been here for years and my experience was awful, so it had to be just bad luck for me, right? The hot food was cool, off flavor, dried out and stale roll, greasy fried okra and the chicken fried steak was the most memorable one I've had. It was cold on the inside and dried out on the bottom crust. The iced tea tasted like there was soap in it. The gravy was hot, but way too watery. Customer service was poor and I felt like I was imposing on them to order food. I won't be back. read more

Waited 25 minutes because they kept forgetting our order. The restrooms were dirty and the salt and pepper shakers look like they had never been wiped off very dirty. Sweet staff! Always friendly whether drive through or dine in. This place is so nostalgic! Growing up we would come in bc or the breakfast and the buffets. Still the same Grandy's!! Best iced tea around. read more

Customer service here sucks don't trust the people that make your food they're might get sick

Went here for breakfast with my husband, we hadn't had Grandy's in such a long time. I ordered the sausage and egg burrito and my husband ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast. It was empty maybe 2 cars in the parking lot and nobody in the drive thru. The girl at the window was very polite. Food took a long time to come out. My burrito was good, nothing too special. My husband's plate was ok, it came with a little piece of steak not even a full one. Not sure if we would return back. read more

Waited 18 minutes parked outside the drive thru for this 4 tender meal. The package was so light I decided to check the order and took the picture attached. Pitiful sized chicken tenders, these look like chicken fingers or nuggets. I went inside to see what I could do; exchange, refund, add full size tenders etc. The shift manager was no help. She didn't apologize other than saying "well that's how we git em, from a bag to da fryer". So much for Hand Battered!!!! They come frozen in a bag! She said she couldn't do refunds and couldn't offer anything. There was a younger teen worker behind the counter too in slide on shoes and an Adidas shirt on, he chimes in being a smart aleck asking if I wanted the chicken tender he was holding. I called him out on his shoes not allowed back there and he said "I ain't workin tho".... I told him he brought me our food and he was packing food. Anyway... stay away from this place. The staff was super helpful in recommending meals that are popular since I hadn't eaten there in a while. It had been closed for a long time, but glad they're open again. I really love Grandys food, especially their white gravy. I was crushed when the north garland rd. store was closed due to covid, but they took the time to remodel. I have never had a problem with them. Until the last time I was there. I ordered the dbl country steak and the fried chicken dinner. I get it home and there is no fried chicken, just a chicken patty. I ordered corn with both, but not only was the order wrong, but when I got home there was so much white gravy that it had drowned the corn! It was ridiculous. Instead of going back that nite to complain, I just held the receipt and got the managers name. Finally caught up with him and explained everything to him (dwight), and he didn't even say he was sorry. Didn't even offer to comp my next meal or ANYTHING, actually was kinda rude. I asked for 2 pieces of dark meat. Thought I would get a leg and thigh. No Igor 2 legs. I asked for double fries. I got cold limp fries. The chicken was not hot. I live 6 minutes away. This is probably the best fast food I've ever had in my life. Everything was cooked perfectly, the dining area was clean, and the sweet tea was PERFECT. Not borderline iced tea and not diabetes in a cup. Wonderful work. read more

Ordered scrambled eggs breakfast and coffee. Told to park to wait for coffee at breakfast. Really?! No coffee at 9:30am!

The absolute worst service. 3rd time they have gotten my order wrong. I drove back this time to have them fix it. No apology. Nothing. I was extremely nice walking in but to not at least getting an apology for the inconvenience was very poor. I even asked them why they can't look me in the face and say I'm sorry and instead they walked off and the drive through kid, blamed it on the other guy and said he didn't do it. I asked for the manager name, and they never came back out from the back. I get that they are teenagers and could care less about being there but rule of thumb is be courtesy to others and if you make a mistake at least apologize. They will never get through life with their attitude. The manager needs to either train in customer service or clean house. Maybe the manager doesn't care either. Terrible staff. read more

They had great food (amazing sweet tea), and even better customer service all of my food came out extremely fast and the workers are extremely nice if you are looking for somewhere to stop anytime of the day for cheap food that tastes expensive this is it! read more
