One of the best burgers I have ever had!! Everyone was friendly and good came out super fast!!

Nice location, on the smallish side, so I suspect it is a marketing test, with the high visibility to drivers on the President George Bush Turnpike. Staff was very informative, pleasant, and dedicated to their restaurant. I counted a dozen seats, in a clean and vivid retro diner look. I came for a pie to go, and the glass pie display case is first thing you see upon entry, like a knockout punch! This display is packed with a variety of whole pies, and some mini versions. You can buy whole, half, or slice, or a mini version! The takeout box is nice & sturdy, with a view window. I got a whole No Added Sugar Apple (these have leaf markings around the edge to tell apart from regular pies) This had good natural flavor, light cinnamon, flaky crust. They cook premium burgers here, and some breakfast dishes, and serve pies! If this is your lane, take the offramp! Nation's Giant Hamburger is in an easy place to access right off of George Bush Highway. I specifically went in for Blueberry Cream Pie. It was just a quick trip to grab some extra pie for Easter. I decided on my way to grab my family lunch to go. I ordered a bacon burger with no sauce, cowboy burger, French fries, pancakes and bacon. I ordered a half of a blueberry cream pie, mini chocolate cream and a slice of key lime pie. The diner was very clean with some booths as well as some individually seating that faced out the window. The pie display case was very nice with beautiful pies displayed. I loved that you could order breakfast or lunch items even in the afternoon. The customer service was very friendly and she reviewed my order to make sure everything was correct. I usually would double check an order before leaving but the bags were double knotted so I headed home. Upon arriving at home my daughter was excited to see pancakes and bacon. She said they were good. I handed my husband his burger and he came back very quickly noting it had mayo and mustard. Usually, this would be a loss but luckily he likes bbq sauce so I switched his burger for mine since mine only had bbq sauce. I went to put away the pies and noticed the half order of blueberry cream pie was only a slice but I was charge for half a pie. If it wasn't a 20 minute drive, I would have gone back in but due to the rain and time I decided to not head back. I know these things can happen but it does put a damper on returning with two errors with an order placed in person. read more

The burger is so salty. I like seasoning but it is so salty it is not enjoyable. The onion rings were average. They are very thicke which some prefer but I like a thinner batter so it is a better ratio. The pie is horrible. It is worse than grocery store pie. The crust is not even on par with a store bought pie crust. Terrible I spit out the first bite. read more

Came in after running errands for a cool spot and a yummy Burger Did not disappoint. Our cheese burger was delicious, moist, bread was fresh and right amount of lettuce, tomatoes and onion Service was great, helpful with us choosing our pies. I personally don't eat hotdogs, but my husband was craving one and Nations had just opened so we gave it a try We got take out so nothing to say about the service other than it is fast casual. The chili dog was good but way over priced. It scratched the itch and it us nice that they are here when he gets that craving again. He said the interior was set up similar to a waffle house. read more

Soooo, my wife and I had a hankering for a real good, juicy, homemade tasting burger. There's a new joint in our neighborhood in Sachse called Nations Giant Hamburgers. So of course, I went straight to Google and did some research. They have some pretty good reviews, so we had to check it out. Nice, clean environment, fair prices, you can even sample some of their pies. We ordered the hamburger combo (2). We got two burgers, but only one order of fries. We also ordered a side of onion rings. When we checked our burgers..., no pickles, there was too much lettuce on the burgers which is why it's called a giant burger. The meat was bland and the burger itself was just o.k. The fries were very good, but we had to share them. Good thing we ordered onion rings which were pretty good as well. The service was sub par. The cashier did not listen to what we said when we ordered. I was not impressed with Nation's at all. I give Nation's 3 out of 5 drinks. Cheers! read more

After I took my middle school son to see jujutsu kaisen, my brain felt like I was part of MK ULTRA experiment by the CIA. My monkey had fun so I took him to eat at this new place in Sachse. The place is located in a strip mall so parking might be an issue. You enter and order at the counter that has samples of pies. The menu is basic burgers, hot dogs, chili, all day breakfast and pies. Those behind the counter greet you and are welcoming. I ordered the double patty melt and fries while monkey ordered Cowboy burger. The seating area is limited so if busy, it will be tight. While waiting, we washed our hands and it was great to be in clean restrooms. The food arrived and the Cowboy burger was big with that onion ring. The patty melt was sloppy and juicy. The meat was fresh and didnt taste like a franchise burger place. 2 burgers and fries $31 bucks. The friendly team members and taste makes it a return for sure. read more

It's a pretty basic burger. Big on mayo, onion and lettuce. No pickles. The burger was over salted and overcooked. We tried it twice and were disappointed both times. Service was lackluster; asking for no onion still yielded a patty-sized chunk of it on the order. Fast food ambience. 2.5 stars for the $8 basic burger. read more

First. If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would, but you have to give atleast ONE star in order to complete a review. TERRIBLE service with not so friendly employees working here. If you live in the area do NOT eat here. I repeat DO NOT eat here! Save your money or go to any of the other food places in this strip. I live in the area and decided I would treat my kid and I to this "new" place in the area. We arrive - I order my kid and I food. For my kid I ordered the cheeseburger with bacon that you see circled in the picture w/ fries and a drink and for myself I ordered the original burger (as you can see THAT burger has no cheese. I emphasized NO mayo and no cheese as I cannot consume dairy. My son's meal was ok - my burger was made w/cheese. No biggie right? Mistakes happen - so I bring it to their attention so that it can simply be fixed - they then proceed to try and just scrape the cheese off until I said, "No, there needs to be no cheese at all on it." So this is when they attempted to redo my burger. Not ONCE was it, "I'm sorry! We will get this fixed for you." It was almost sudden attitude (if you will) that they took the time to complete a wrong order and now it's "wasted" - they remade my burger - this time with no choose (like I originally asked for) BUT added Mayo to it. Again - in the very beginning I was VERY clear that I did NOT want Mayo OR cheese on my burger. At this point - I am frustrated. The burgers are made fresh so I already had to wait an additional 10-15 for them to remake the WRONG burger yet again. By time the SECOND wrong burger was made - my son was already done with his meal. I did not get to sit and enjoy dinner with my son. When you go places you expect quality service especially when you could spend your money and time elsewhere - and I was simply FAILED on tonight. My first and LAST time EVER coming to this place. I asked for names and I was given Liam (who took my order) and Laura who attempted to give me a refund for my order.
