"The bathroom redecoration will take about four months to begin. Our team will arrive at 7:30 AM on…read morea Monday and will be finished on that Friday." That was the impression with which my wife and I were left when we agreed to the deal. The four months was correct. Our impression that the "team" would descend upon our bathroom like flies on a drop of honey did not appear to have been correct. We had one "fly" he came at 10:30 AM on a Wednesday and it looks now as if he will be finished next Tuesday which will not be five (as your website states: New bath in 5 days or less), but thirteen days. We have no problem with the people involved. Everyone has been easy to deal with and we feel you have our best interest in mind. But something is very wrong with the process. The best marketing tool any company has is, "word of mouth." This is usually based on the latest contact with the company-- the delivery of the product. Poulin dropped the ball on the delivery. We all know what it's like to have a critical room like a bathroom basically out of service for any time, not to mention almost two weeks, when that could have been avoided. This is not the fault of our "team" of one leader. He is doing all he can with what he's got, which is basically himself. We personally would have waited even longer than the four months if we could indeed have a team that finished a quality job in as short a time as possible. Quality and speedy job completion should be the objective of each team. You have good people. But they are prisoners of the process. Don't start a job you can't complete in a mutually agreeable time frame. Give your field people the resources they need to keep the customer happy. They should not be around enough that they become part of the family.

She aggressively challenged me saying they were the same then asked where I got my interior design expertise. I was honest and told her the internet. She snapped back at me stating she was a credentialed interior designer. Poulin lost a sizeable sale that day because of their uppity employee.

Here is one of the many great things about Pluma construction, they are really good! I've had the…read moreopportunity to work with the Pluma team on projects I needed done at the house including a new driveway and adding in a glass block window. They totally nailed both projects in the best possible way! They also do bathroom remodeling and a host of other home focused projects (even though they also provide services like a general contractor). #ThankYouThursday

If you are looking for work and have a family, I would not suggest working here, my wife was hired…read morehere as a project manager(the only project manager), there other PM is on a hiatus apparently, she worked a full week, than spring break started, we have two children who would have no school, anyone who is a PM knows companies work with you when it comes to your kids, however that is not the case with pluma, they allowed her to work from home one day that we didnt have anyone to watch our children, the next day after she has been at work for two hrs already, let her go, the operations manager quoted "youre messing with the contracts too much and ive been around the block and we cant do this"? What the hell kinda company doesnt allow their PMs to mess with the contracts? Or contract vendors or subs that are better for the project? Thats the job.... They are messing with families livelihoods and not looking back. Apparently they had hired another person as PM and that person they also let go after working there for only one week prior to hiring my wife. I see the pattern of a company that doesnt give a care in the world for the people they hire and their livelihoods, thats what i see. So, if u fit 95% of the general populations living situations (having a family) i wouldnt suggest working here. Just my opinion...
