STAY AWAY!!! Worst…read morecompany I've ever done business with. Had them do a kitchen remodel and was the worst experience with a company that literally does this for a living. They hire unprofessional installers for cabinets; their contract states they do everything but paint which is fine. But once I saw what kind of electrical work they were doing, I refused to let them do any electrical work on my home. They state that the work is not done until the final inspection is done and paperwork signed, the work was so horrible they did not even attempt to inspect or reach out to me after months of me showing pictures and requesting they do it correctly. Still have not had any contact with them and have the texts them refusing to correct or pay for the damage they did as well as many photographs and video with time stamps of their "best work". Don't be fooled by their website google reviews check YELP as well. On google go to lowest rating still don't see how they have a high review on google. Cons: -installers had the install plan for a simple kitchen on how/where each cabinet goes, could not figure it out. -took out drywall and tried to install cabinets over open exposed area that goes into the attic/roof/outside wall. -destroyed my power cable to the stove during the demolition and refused to pay to replace it. Did not know it was damaged until after work was completed and tried to reconnect it and power no longer worked. -would say they would come by early in the morning to work on the kitchen, wouldn't show up till 3-4pm -crew threw out garbage disposal adapter to sink, had to get another one -crew cut and hid the power cord to garbage disposal, had to get someone to fix that -crew did not know how to find studs inside drywall to hang cabinets and made multiple holes in new cabinets -crew did not measure counter tops correctly and when the countertop company came to install, it was too short and had to have them recut and install. -crew cut and threw out base board trim and had to get new ones put in because they were thrown out -cabinets were supposed to be flush to the ceiling and if ceiling was not even, a space was to be left to add a trim so there wasn't a awkward uneven spacing. Didn't do that either and now there's a weird uneven gap along the top. -my 9 year old could do a better caulking job then what they attempted, had to go back and repair it -multiple trim edges and multiple holes made by crew not knowing how to properly install cabinets. -multiple unnecessary holes done for plumbing -kitchen light power cable was hidden in ceiling and drywall installed -Would not change out a piece of drywall that clearly needed to be removed that was behind a dishwasher, had to get another person to fix for me since they would not. Pros: -ordering cabinets took about 3-4 weeks

The details and arrangements can be overwhelming as well as not knowing what to expect. However, D'Best put me at ease with their 30 plus year in business credentials and their veteran staff. My thoughts: Great work quality. Arrives on time and finishes after a full day. Usually 8-5. Great clean up and great experience. I love my new flooring. Thank you D'Best.

Junior came out and met with us and somehow managed to translate my insane ramblings about shadowboxes and faux islands into exactly what I was wanting. He was able to make some recommendations for things I would have never even thought of (moving our stove down a few inches for extra drawers and building our fridge into the cabinets so we have more over fridge storage) and had our drawings to us immediately. He was up front about the pricing and we were able to pick and choose from options that met our needs but kept us within budget. The only real snag we hit was when my husband decided to go out on his own for places to buy granite from, but once we shopped from the list that Junior had given us things went a lot smoother. I was impressed with how organized everything was throughout the entire planning process. Junior gave us a timeline on when our work could begin and things went according to plan. The crew was friendly and worked really hard, they kept things as neat as you can expect from a kitchen remodel. Given everything I hear from other folks that have done kitchen remodels, I was braced for a lot of pain and delays, so I am pleased to report that things actually went faster than expected once I understood that the granite takes about a week to have cut after the cabinets are installed. I am so happy with my new kitchen, it is literally my dream come true. I cannot rave enough about Junior and the team from I4. =)

He asked me to send pictures and measurements and that he would be out the next day. 30 mins before he was suppose to be there, he called with a price over $9000 the highest estimate that I received. We talked about differences, and I mentioned that we had terrazzo so we did not want tile. He did not know what terrazzo was. I told him thank you, I was not interested in the estimate and hung up. I am sorry but if a estimator/designer in FL does not know what terrazzo is, I have issues since this is the most common flooring that was used in the older homes.

Mo refused to call or text my wife back. Mohommad then attempted to mark up the cabinets 70% and tricked us into letting him dump the cabinets on us without inspection. The cabinets were in fact in flat boxes and RTA (Ready to Assemble) and not ready to be installed or disclosed as cheap RTA cabinets until his driver tricked us by buying the cabinets at like $5000 or $6000 and then dropping them off for "inspection" and saying they were custom cabinets worth over $16,000 without improving assembling them in any way, insisting they were custom built when in fact they were simply colored cabinets boards in a box. He refused to refund any money and left 5-10 exposed electrical wires hanging out of our wall to try to put pressure on finishing the project for the price he wanted for a customer cabinet kitchen. Marking up cabinets by close to 200% is a scam when trying to pass off RTA cabinets as custom built when simply let in the Indonesian Manfacturers unbranded cheap boxes. We are entering our lawsuit in the next week. If you look at Orange County Lawuits in the past few year you will see where Mo/Galaxy did the same thing to another customer. Well this one isn't Small claims court and we will insist on legal fees.

I knew exactly what I wanted but also know how picky I am based on my 16 year career in construction and new found passion for interior design. After researching and speaking to several local companies and even obtaining an estimate from Home Depot, my co-worker referred me to Remodel Surplus. They completed his kitchen renovation the year prior. A pleasant experience doesn't even begin to describe my encounter. I initially designed my kitchen but was determined to pay cash so I didn't place my actual order until several months later. At no time did I ever feel harassed or pressured to place the order before I was ready. Jose and his team were patient, kind, and met every commitment made in order for me to have the kitchen of my dream. The hardest part was just waiting on the cabinets to come in. If I ever remodel another home, I know exactly who to call because anyone who can still have a smile after dealing with a new mom/ contractor with a newborn is a keeper in my eyes.

On June 13, 2025, we signed a contract with them. Work began July 21, 2025. They finished on May 26, 2026. The contract stated that it would take 4 months, possibly 5, to complete the project. It took them 10 months to complete. There was a total of at least 15 weeks (a week being 5 consecutive working days, i.e., Wednesday through Tuesday) where NOTHING was done at the house. Prior to beginning demolition, they required a total of 60% of the contract to be paid. At the end of demolition and rough-in, which took 4 weeks, they required a total of 84% to be paid. Then they wanted payment for the project to be substantially complete and usable prior to the installation of the glass shower walls or the master being usable. That would have been 95% of the contract. The supervising contractor stated that he would not have the shower glass installed until they were paid. I sent his boss a copy of the Florida legal requirements for being substantially complete and usable, and I also hired an attorney. When it came time for the final walkthrough and final payment, they didn't want to provide us with the Affidavit of Contractor's Final Payment, which shows if there are any subcontractors who have released their lien and those that haven't been paid and how much they are owed prior to receiving the final payment, even though we had the right to have it according to our attorney. Then, when we received the document, it was a "waiver and release of lien upon progress payment."

Well after the project started and the things promised were not, it went downhill. They measured incorrectly and the countertops did not fit. They had to cut out the finished drywall in order to fit without redoing the countertops. Now the new appliances do not fit properly. they stick out past the cabinets. The appliance installers (subcontractor) told me this was their first job, and it showed. They had to return to try to make things right. The appliances still do not fit properly. Their subcontractor plumber installed the new kitchen sink, and I had to call S&W to let them know there was water now leaking on our new cabinets. The subcontractor tile installer had to return several times to complete and fix tile issues. I had to call our own plumber because sewage and wastewater was backing up in our new shower and the toilet was overflowing. Our plumber spent several hours removing grout from the new plumbing, because he said the pipe was blocked by grout from the tile installer who installed our new shower tile. When I sent the plumber's invoice to S&W Kitchens, they refused to take any responsibility and said they were not accountable. The new shower glass wobbles and their solution is for us to pay more to try to make it work or remove the glass and pay again for new glass doors. There are a number of other things that were not done properly. I have spent a lot of my time trying to get these things corrected. Their communications is poor at best, unless they were reaching out for a check, then they call or stop by with their hand out. Their lack of accountability, supervision of their subcontractors, and overall quality of workmanship is why we would not recommend S&W Kitchens to anyone.
