My car was towed to Nissan and Josh in Service submitted the claim to Assurant. It was denied. I had to provide service records and did so. It was still denied. Over the past six weeks, I have called both Somersworth Nissan and Assurant scores of times to get an explanation. Ultimately, the warranty company approved the claim but the Somersworth Nissan underwriters are the ones who denied it. They vehemently denied this and said it would make no sense for them to deny it. Bullshit! I have read the horrible reviews. I have dealt with the idiots in the Service Department as they lie to me and tell me things such as, "I've never known the Kicks to have transmission issues." When you google Nissan Kicks (Nissan in general) transmission problems are a given. I have absolutely no respect for this company. I used to send people their way. At least when Ethan worked there, I felt treated with respect. Now, I am lied to and taken advantage of. This is the last Nissan I will ever purchase. Please don't patronize this business. Thought we were all said and done and would come back the next day to sign as it was past closing for them. Next day came, they told me wasn't ready and come back Wednesday with my fiancé who was also on loan. Wednesday came and we went. When we sat down in finance office, two completely different numbers were pitched at us with higher interest. Told him we were told something way different Monday and we thought it was a done deal as we even took the car home and gave them my old car and gave them a down payment. As I was furious thinking we were gonna be going back to old car and switching everything over, they ended up working the numbers and discounting the vehicle to numbers that worked for us. I appreciated their dedication to making sure we left happy and with the car we wanted. At the end of the day, I got a car at a good price. Things I think they may need to work on, is emailing back. Calling back and keeping us in the loop better. I do recommend them, however definitely be cautious as you should with any dealership.
