I've played mini-golf there several times, and some of the holes are pretty challenging, which keeps the course interesting. Pay for mini-golf in the pro shop. Sometimes they give you a ticket to take to the hut next to the mini-golf course, and you check in and get your putter there. Otherwise they give you the putter and scorecard in the pro shop. I've also used the driving range a few times. You walk into the pro shop to buy whichever size bucket of balls works for you, and head out to the range. The pro shop has what you would expect, and often offers fittings with specific club manufacturers. Check them out!

We played yesterday and left quite disappointed. The course is in very rough shape and in dire need of some TLC. I understand the fact that some of the holes couldn't be mowed due to the recent rains but it doesn't appear that any of the course has seen the lawn mower or a weed wacker recently. Our group lost a bunch of balls that were hit near or on the fairway. Hopefully changes are coming as we sure did like coming here over the years.

The greens are always in fantastic condition, and the entire property is truly a hidden treasure. But what really sets Woodland apart is the people. Every time I stop in to grab my cart key, I'm greeted by Angel. She is genuinely one of the highlights of coming to this course. She works incredibly hard, always has a smile on her face, and makes everyone feel welcome. On our most recent visit, we decided to add another nine holes. The weather took a turn, and I was debating whether to play because I was so cold. Angel actually offered me her jacket. That kind of kindness and hospitality is rare these days, and Woodland is lucky to have her. (And as a bonus, she makes an amazing Bloody Mary!) I attended a wonderful wedding last night at the only barn wedding facility in the state. Women…read morewore dresses, skirts and pant outfits. Men wore suits, business casual and jeans. The barn was nice and clean. They have beautiful bathrooms. The wedding ceremony was at 500pm in front of the oldest hickory tree in the county. They set up 200 chairs with an aisle down the middle for the wedding party to enter. The property has a nice area to take pictures and enjoy and outdoor pre-reception. Our reception was inside the barn we ate comfortably and heard bride and groom stories, prayer, a charge from the father of the bride. Dinner was catered by Thunder Bay Grill. The wedding party DJ played nice taped music during the dinner. Dessert was a cheesecake. At the end of the reception we launched balloons with lights in them sending off in the air on a new adventure, just like the bride and groom. A beautiful night. I highly recommend this facility.
