GrapeSeed spa is a hidden treasure in Temecula! I have been there 3 years in a row to celebrate my birthday and we have had a wonderful experience every time. The service you receive at the front desk, over the phone, or from the spa attendants has always been 5 star-everyone is friendly and extremely welcoming and helpful! I really enjoyed my massage but 50 min flies by & I had a late start-so not a full 60 was given. I want to give 1star to the front desk lady. I specifically asked about a massage prices & she did not tell me about the $159 special which I think is completely dishonest. I said what is the price of a deep tissue vs a regular massage? So I paid $210 when I would have had the special had I known. I didn't realize the specials because the flyer was at the opposite register until after my massage. GrapeSeed Spa left a lot to be desired. My spouse and I agreed that we didn't get our money's worth. The massage was anything but relaxing as our masseuse kept talking to us during the service and upselling extras which killed the vibe. It was also our least favorite "luxury spa" massage as we have been to a handful. No pressure, no rhyme/reason, and spent way too much time fidgeting with the blankets than actually massaging. The lobby is way too crowded and does not allow for comfort nor relaxation. The front desk was in a rush and did not have a friendly demeanor. The locker room attendants were awkward. Paying $180 for a massage should leave a person feeling completely relaxed and satisfied. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of that expectation, as the quality of the massage was below average. We had heard from several colleagues that one particular masseuse at the spa was excellent, so unfortunately, we were disappointed that we did not have the opportunity to be treated by her. At a price point of $180, we expect the masseuse to be highly skilled, experienced, and consistently capable of providing a high-quality massage. When I found out the location for a work event, I looked into their spa services online. I saw they had a march special, but I couldn't book it online for some strange reason. I tried calling for assistance, but they were closed. Time went by and I made another attempt to call and got patched through. They still had their march special and they had a time slot available for when I would be able to go. They mentioned to me that with my spa purchase, I had the ability to access their facility (pool, fitness center, sauna, jacuzzi, etc.) Fast forward to the experience... I got lost. The property is huge, and the signs were really small, hard to read. I tried calling the phone number but it went straight to voicemail. I stopped at what looked like a hotel check in and asked for directions. They have villas on one side of the property and the Spa is at the very end of it. I wish there were more signs. Even when I found the building, it was a little confusing still. I entered the building and the front staff were extremely friendly. In the women's locker room, there was a host that would help you get your locker set up. Inside the locker, you get a robe and some slippers and if the robe didn't fit, they have other sizes to swap it out for. There is also a sauna, whirlpool jacuzzi, and another room that was out of service. They also have a fitness center. There were about 4 showers, they were deep. A lot of space and they provided towels for you along with some eucalyptus aromatherapy for the shower. They have some amenities that came with the locker room. I have take a photo of it so check that out. Faye was my masseuse and she was wonderful and so sweet! I only got a 50 minute massage and some hair scalp treatment. I wished I got a longer one! She said she has been working there for either 15 or 19 years! Talk about a dedicated worker! The room was very calming, spacious and dim. When i first got onto the table, I noticed the table was heated! It felt so relaxing! She didn't want me to use any muscles that weren't needed for the session. I want to say there was a weighted blanket too, but that got removed (I was a little sad, but its okay). I started face down and I was about to snooze off and she gently told me to flip over. She sprayed some eucalyptus aromatherapy onto the pillow that supported my neck. She also put on a heated eye mask. My spa service included hot jade stones. Let's just say I remember snoring, so i ended up getting some ZZZ, but i woke up shortly after because my session was over. Came here for Women in Military Appreciation Day sponsored by South Coast Winery (10 min from my home!) Hello Auto Group, and the Military Women's Collective (MWC). Our complimentary treatments were a pedicure or 20 minute massage. I chose the massage. I was greeted warmly at the front desk then sent to the dressing room area, where the lockers, sauna, hot tub, and restrooms are located. I changed into the comfy robe & slippers and took the elevator upstairs to the massage rooms & waiting room. There were snacks & drinks available. Adjacent to the waiting room was a balcony overlooking the pool. My masseuse was the beautiful and sweet Elizabeth and she led me to a room on the left. I told her to avoid my right shoulder due to my surgery. She was wonderful and I was so relaxed that I had to peel myself off the bed! We were given lunches and gift bags. I chose the delicious cilantro chicken salad from Urbane Cafe along with some iced tea. I met with some other female vets and one that used to be in my squadron. It was a great honor to meet Rina of the MWC. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. The facility is beautiful. I appreciate that they offered this for female veterans. Love the pool area .My advice, get there early if you are planning a pool day because unless you rent a cabana you will not be guaranteed seating. The shade is limited so if you are looking for shade go early. They have a cafe where you can order food if you are not up to packing a bag of snacks if you want hot food the restaurant does delivery which is made by a phone call at the desk where you order your other food. We were a group of 5 mamas that take an annual spa day away from the families for a day. We decided to get out of San Diego and try GrapeSeed. One of the mamas scheduled all our treatment appointments and brunch time, and it was super easy. What was enticing was that our massages come with a complimentary pre-selected drink of your choice. We arrived around 10am and we were greeting by the wonderful hosts. We signed our waivers and were taken to the women's area, where you are given a locker. Inside the locker was slippers, robe, and a small bag for your wet swimsuit. The locker room had 3 showers, 3 toilets stalls, soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels, hair dryers/curlers/straighteners, and water/cups. There is a small sauna and spa in the back (not shared with men). We did not go inside the sauna or spa, but it is small and maybe good for a group smaller than 6. The massage treatments are located upstairs where you can overlook the pool area. You can lounge with water and tea until your appointment. You can also access the pool, but you would need a pool key from the front hosts. You can spend the entire day here which is awesome because it's so tranquil and not super busy (during the time we went). The massages were great. I had Lauren and she asked me my preferences before she started. The room I was placed in was fairly large and dimly lit. I would have preferred a dimmer room, but that's personal preference. As soon as we were done, my mimosa was hand delivered straight to me. After we all got our massages, we hung out poolside where we ordered another drink and waddled in the pool. The pool is heated, but it was still cold for me. We dipped in the nearby spa and that was amazing. Service was great and we enjoyed our visit. We hope to visit again real soon! read more

Came here for a Seasonal Facial. Jeremy the Spa Manager checked me in. He was super kind & helped me choose a pre-selected wine to enjoy after my facial. He then led me to Joanne in the women's spa area, where she directed me to my locker and helped me get acquainted to this space. I enjoyed being in the sauna, steam room, and private jacuzzi area prior to my treatment. Before my facial, a group of women came in. They were super loud, but more because, they were marveling at all the amenities. They weren't familiar with spa decorum, but at the same time, I understand their excitement to have time away from their usual routine. Joanne gave me the heads up that my esthetician Christina was a fan favorite. I really had a relaxing experience with the facial and Christina explained to me what products were being used and what was being applied to my face. I do recommend her when you book a facial. Afterwards, I enjoyed a glass of Merlot rose on the relaxation area on the second floor balcony. The same group of women had finished their treatment and were chatting a lot- so I just moved to the other side. FYI- There is a large fan noise coming from the first floor on the right side of the balcony space (when you face the pool)- which can be distracting if you want some quiet. For lunch, I dialed the phone to order from the restaurant versus the cafe, as I wanted a meal that was more substantial. Shaun came and brought me the food. Everything was perfectly packaged from the wine to the condiments to all that was part of the order. I really appreciate that Shaun came and walked it over to where I was at the pool. Makes the entire experience more convenient and enjoyable. There was a young women or two that would walk around the pool and check on guests to see if they wanted to order drinks or food. I did notice that as the afternoon went on, sometimes the guests' trash would remain on the tables by the seating (bottle service and food items). As a way to improve the experience, it would be great if the leftover food items and bottles were picked up as guests leave, especially if and when the pool area gets busier and or more crowded. At the end of my experience, Valentina checked me out and also gave me a cute gold tote as I had bought some products from my treatment. She was so spunky and kind, and I loved her personality and overall customer service. I will definitely go back and book a massage or some other service. The overall property is older compared to other spas I have gone to (Rancho Valencia Spa in Rancho Santa Fe), but it is a nice sanctuary in the midst of wine country and a beautiful oasis for a solo spa trip or a time to relax with friends. I did visit this space during more off-peak hours so cannot speak for what it would be like on a weekend. Had a relaxing day at the Grape Seed Spa. I had a Swedish Massage and it came with a complimentary glass of bubbly or wine. The sun came out around 10 so we got to enjoy the warm sunshine. The pool temp was on the cooler side, but I think if the weather were warmer, the temp would've been perfect. A disappointment. I went there with clear skin. Have the same face cleaning routine at the spa and home care. I have been a loyal customer for at least 10 years. I have referred Grapeseed spa to friends and family. The past staff I use to see regularly there knew how to deliver quality service. Unfortunately, they are no longer there, so new employees. They lost my e-file information due to software changes. Several times the sauna has been broken. I have spent $$$$ there and generous gratuity. Over the years, I have taken my family and friends with me for massages, facials, pedicures etc...They just lost that business. I had Claudia (Esthetician) for a facial who had INJURED MY FACE LEAVING A SCAR. The manager (female) directed me to the lead esthetician. Dissatisfied with Monica (lead esthetician) as well. Her services are low quality. Spoke with another manager (male) and his response is to not get the facials, and when Claudia gives him facials, he has never had a problem. He just lost a lot business from me and the community. In the years I have been receiving facials here, I never had issues until the new staff. I informed my friends and family about their now poor quality service. They just lost the upcoming family and friend's wedding party I had planned on reserving for spa services. We will not be returning. The quality of services has gone downhill. There are several other spas with quality services. read more

Came today for a hydra facial. A little hard to find. Front desk crew is very nice. Was given locker with zero privacy, if you're modest, not for you. Well appointed locker room with any beauty items you'd need. Hydra facial was good but was odd the facialist didnt hit my entire face with the machine? She even said "oh you have a lot of congestion around your nostrils" but didn't even suction around my nostrils? Then would rub the machine down my face but not in any clear fashion? I would expect you should do it how you vacuum carpet-- and when I've had this type of facial before, that's how my face was treated. She just hopped it around my face in an inconsistent pattern. First off, I'd like to start by saying this little property. It is a hidden gem snuggled in the vineyards of wine country We found this place on a whim because we needed a date. We decided to hit the spa which was grape seed spa and we were not disappointed. We started the day by checking in and being allowed to use the locker rooms and the pool area. So we spent a few hours at the pool. Had a few drinks which were very delicious. The Pinot colada was amazing. After we enjoyed a few hours by the pool, we each went to our own locker rooms and spent some alone time in the jacuzzis and then got ready for our massage. Headed upstairs for our massage appointment. We booked the romantic size couples massage they took us upstairs and let us relax for a few minutes before being called back for the massage. Once we were called back for the massage the room was very clean. Smelled really well and the masseuse was very kind. The massages were exactly what we needed literally. So amazing. So relaxing. So calm. I'm not sure what the name of my masseuse was, but it was a male gentleman who was very tall and he did a phenomenal job. We will definitely be heading back here to celebrate more milestones in our relationship and enjoy all the amenities this place has to offer. read more

I love it here! The grounds are beautiful. The staff is wonderful. The spa is small and quaint, which I like. A spa service gives you access to the spa amenities and pool. I have had facials and massages here many times over the years and each time the services have been excellent! Downstairs are men and women's changing rooms. The women's area has all of the usual accommodations (which I am sure mirrors what you will find in the men's area): showers and bath products, dry sauna, wet sauna and a small outside jacuzzi. There are two small locker rooms. It can get a bit cramped. They could use more chairs for sitting as you get changed. Upstairs is the quiet area for men and women while you wait for your massage. There is a beautiful outdoor patio that overlooks the pool and a fabulous view. It's a great place to settle in with a glass of wine and just chill. Facials have their own small waiting area downstairs. Lunch is from their poolside cafe and is served by the pool. Today it rained so thankfully we were allowed to eat inside a cabana with heaters. Today I had a chicken wrap and a glass of Grenache red wine. All was all very good! I always book spa services when they offer specials, which usually come with a spa service, a glass of wine, and lunch. What a wonderful treat this was! A special sisters day for my birthday. It's a beautiful place even during a wet cold day. I had a great facial, the special they offer. Marie did a great job, massaging my shoulder and arms and my face was glowing after I was done. I only wish the locker/dressing area was a little roomier. They have two small areas with a couple of ottomans but it's a tight squeeze. Otherwise it was great. You can use the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and pool. Masseuses are always professional and good at what they do. My only complaint is the price, which I feel has gone up drastically since covid. I was very fortunate to be gifted a GrapeSeed Spa gift card. Even though I live nearby, it's not a place I would consider as a local. I held on to the card for 7 months and picked just the perfect day to use it. From the minute I arrived, I was impressed with the flow and ambiance of the spa. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. The flow is efficient, but you've got to pay attention to the instructions or you'll miss something. First stop is the locker room on the first floor. They have showers with complimentary toiletries, toilets, a sauna, and a women's only spa. There you change into a provided cozy lined robe and put on flip flops. Once you stuff all of your belongings into a locker, you head up to a waiting area on the second floor for the massage. Agnes called me back promptly at my appointment time. Her room had wonderful aromatherapy and glow relaxing music. The only light was coming thorough the closed window shutters. She was thorough but didn't over ask my massage preferences. There was some up selling then we got down to the good stuff. Massage was absolutely wonderful. Agnes has a nice touch, applying perfect pressure but gentle and smooth. She asked how I was a few times. We had some off and on conversation throughout and found we have a lot in common. I have a bit of back pain and she really relieved about 95% of it. She was great! I really love this place and it's not over-crowded. The facilities are wonderful. The style/decor is a tiny bit dated but totally reasonable. The quality of services and the tables are very high quality. The skin care items sold in the store are EXCELLENT. The staff is really lovely. Everyone is so nice. The gym is great. It's hardly ever used so it's kind of like you have your own private facility. It's the largest gym facility that I have seen at a spa (or hotel for that matter). I can't say enough good things about this spa. Oh, wait! I can! You get a glass of wine or champagne after your treatment. I have never had that before. Final thought... Came in for an aromatherapy massage and was pleasantly surprised by the women's locker room. They provided a very comfy robe and slippers. The steam room, sauna and jacuzzi were lovely. They even had lavender scented soaps and iced towelettes as an extra touch. (No photos as they ask to please not use your device in the locker room for the privacy of all guests - which I love). I have been coming to this spa for years. It has changed over time, as with everything else, but we have had some amazing therapists over the years. Visiting the spa is something I have always looked forward to during our trips to South Coast Winery. We enjoy relaxing on the patio after a massage. This has always been a great place for us to get away. We love the wine, love the casitas (even though they are now a bit dated, they are still fantastic), and always loved the spa. The last couple of times we were there, the massages were OK, but not great. However, the last massage I received was HORRIBLE! Deep tissue doesn't mean rough. Also, when guests wear undergarments, that is a clear boundary, so respect it! I was so disappointed, we opted for another resort a couple of hours away for our most recent getaways. I am sure one day we will circle back to South Coast to see if things have improved, but for now, we are going to have to explore our other options. read more

Our day at the pool was going fine until a server copped attitude. She was a young blonde who was servicing guests by the pool. She walked by and asked her for a cup of water. She gave me a dirty look but said yes. I told my friend that maybe I was wrong thinking she copped attitude. But, she never did come to give me water. No idea why she was rude since she was polite the previous times she engaged us. So weird. What a lovely oasis set in wine country! The membership program is a great way for locals to take advantage of the spa amenities, including the gym and steam room/sauna. The pool deck is spacious and well-appointed with a piping hot spa, restrooms, and a cafe serving up wines and yummy snacks. Inside, the locker room facilities are clean and well-stocked. The outdoor hot tub set off the locker rooms is private and relaxing, perfect after a spa service! The staff is, to the last man, warm and friendly.
