So I had a date and I picked this place because of reviews and it was close for her, 40 minutes for me. We were meeting at noon and when you first pull in it's like a gravel parking lot and you're looking for the building, however, there's a big sign and there was a young man helping people park. There place is surrounded by basically a marina. They have an outside bar and a large outside seating area. I found out they have live music from 4 to 8 Thursday through Sunday so that's a plus. I got a table inside and sat down. My date was a little late, but the coffee is good and I appreciated the service I received. I didn't catch his name, and then my date sat down and we talked and then we ordered. Because the place was very busy, even though the inside there were tables available, but because of the outside seating and the bar there was a lot of people that ordered ahead of us, so it took a while for our food to come out, but the company was good and I forgave it. The food was great. My date had a BLT. She said it was outstanding, the bacon cooked how she asked for it, and her coleslaw was very good that came on the side. I had the number 1 Shipmate, two eggs, two sausage links, two pancakes. Everything was cooked perfectly. Pancakes fluffy with plenty of whipped butter, the way I like it, sausage links were sliced open so they were grilled and the scrambled eggs were light and not overcooked. Definitely will be back to try out their dinner menu and listen to some live music!

This is a windy day but we have a small dog and sitting outside. The breakfast is delicious and filling. Service is very good!

This was our first visit to Dockside. There's inside seating and 'dockside' seating. We opted for dockside. It was quiet and perfect weather for outside dining. My husband had drunkin clams with spaghetti and I had the shrimp tacos. The tacos were huge! There were 3 fried shrimp, fresh pico and lettuce, and a tiny side of coleslaw. Our waitress was attentive, checking on us frequently! They have drink specials and a full service bar outside. Watch your food! We were dive bombed by a seagull!

Eaten there several times, the food is always good. The servers are always pleasant and I love the waterfront atmosphere.

One of my favorite places in Tuckerton, NJ. The ambience both out doors and inside is wonderful. They are dog friendly outside-providing water and treats for your pet. The food is made fresh with great care. The servers are friendly, happy and helpful. They have music in the late afternoon, which is a nice treat with a couple of drinks and friends. I highly recommend.

Casual family waterfront dining with friendly service! We called ahead and they easily accommodated our multigenerational group of 10. Waitress was exceptional accommodating our picky eaters and large group. Large menu and everyone loved their meals. I had the California Eggs Benedict expertly prepared with fresh produce. Cakes tasted homemade like my Grandmas recipe. Would love to return someday to be able to eat outside when the weather is nicer. Perfect final meal for our family's vacation week!

Check for yourself, a quick search on Gemini or Grok yields the same response "No, it is generally not legal for a NJ restaurant to charge a 3% fee on a debit card transaction, even if they label it as a "credit card" fee." When I questioned the manager about this, I was met with excuses rather than a resolution. Point is that management can help prevent this by adding the debit card fee everywhere the rule is posted. It is clear this practice is about padding the restaurant's bottom line rather than covering costs. While our server was wonderful and not at fault, the management's lack of transparency is unacceptable. I like Callaway's but don't like their management who take no responsibility in rectifying this simple problem.

She did not ask me to take down my previous review or make this update. All she did was take accountability for her staff, tried to get to the bottom of it, and looked to remedy the situation. This is truly an example how a business owner should behave and so kudos to you! I can tell from our interaction that she takes pride in her business and wants everyone to enjoy their time there. Although I still stand by my last review, I also want to edit my statement that I would never go back. I would give them a second try if I'm ever back in the area just based on how this situation was handled by management. Hoping that changes can be made positively in regard to service so it could match up with food/drinks and overall ambiance.

They had several dishes on the menu with their own unique twist. One of my favorites that was tried was burrata over a beet puree. I've seen burrata prepared easily over a dozen ways but never with beets. It was an excellent combination and left me wanting more. More my entree I had the sesame encrusted tuna. The portion was huge! They do not skimp here. The tuna was cooked perfectly rare and was very fresh. Surprisingly, one of the best things I ate at Manera's was the caramelized onion mashed potato's that came with my fiancés veal dish. These were out of this world and easily the best mashed potatoes I've ever had. I could have eaten an entire plate of them and that's saying something for someone that typically doesn't eat mashed potatoes! Another big perk is that Manera's is BYOB and much more reasonably priced compared to any restaurant on the island. You will surely leave satisfied after a meal here!

The waiter was caring, friendly, and professional. Secondly, the food was great, and actually even better than the last time. I started my lunch with a cup of their Chicken Tortilla Soup, which had a lightly spicy tomato-based broth infused with loads of shredded white meat chicken and garnished with a few tortilla strips. It was flavorful, comforting, and a perfect vehicle in which to dip their crusty Italian bread. Now the real improvement came from my selected entree. While the Asian Shrimp Salad that I had ordered previously was just mediocre, the Seared Tuna Salad that I got this time was delicious! The plate included mixed greens, sliced avocado, julienne cucumbers, pickled onions, cherry tomatoes, and sesame-crusted, sushi-grade tuna, which I ordered seared to a medium rare. The fish was tender and perfectly cooked. Cups of wasabi and Asian dressing were served on the side and further infused a tangy heat to the dish. It was colorful, textural, and simply delicious. It was a real winner! Manera's Restaurant provided yet another enjoyable meal with dedicated service in a classy, yet casual, atmosphere.

Initially, things seemed promising as everyone placed their orders and most of the group received their meals fairly quickly. Unfortunately, another family member and I, who had both ordered the same entrée, were left waiting. Approximately 20 minutes later, when the rest of our party was nearly finished eating, our server informed us that the restaurant was out of tuna and that we would need to choose something else. It was very disappointing that it took so long for us to be notified. I ultimately ordered the mahi tacos, but they lacked flavor and were quite underwhelming. I attempted to ask for Tabasco sauce, but our server did not return to our table for quite some time to check on us. When she finally came back, I ordered another Tito's and soda and asked if it could be made as a double because my first drink tasted mostly like club soda. She informed me that the drink I had already been consuming was a double, which was surprising given the taste. At that point, I switched to water.
