Giving this 5 stars for the grandma and chicken parm square pizza and the super hard working staff. We ordered take out on a Friday night and it was very busy so I knew we were in for a really good pizza. The sauce on the pizza was really good and the well done thin crust was so good. They also have a dining area- with servers if you what to dine in. Planning on trying there dinner entrees next time. read more

Naples doesn't deliver and it's been around since my childhood of folding boxes with one of the original owners Paul's daughter. They are absolutely so nice in this pizza restaurant. I usually enjoy sitting up front but the other day my hubby and I dined in the dining room for the first time probably since a birthday party he threw for me. I wasn't that hungry so we shared the Parmesan trio, substituted the veal because we don't eat lamb's LoL... They gave so much food I could have fallen off my chair. Service was good. The only take away was the group behind us wouldn't leave me alone! Seriously! They kept talking to me as if they knew me and the older gentleman was trying to make me uncomfortable for some reason. Pizza crust is superb. Best I've ever had. I will return. Parking lot for easy parking. I ordered at the counter, then sat and ate at the booth. Food didn't take too long. Had the mussels and the eggplant parm pizza. So yummy. The hot mussels with the rolls they give you were excellent. I could just slurp down the mussel sauce on its own. The pizza was very flavorful and good but a little soggy. Next time We'll ask for well done for a crispier crust. read more

I took the recommendation of local Yelp elite squad member Denise Z. and tried Naples Pizza and Restaurant, 550 N Main St. also know as Route 9, Barnagat, NJ. This unassuming little pizzeria is part of a strip mall with plenty of lot parking. They do not have a liquor license so bring your own. There is a liquor store in the next strip center to the north but it has very little selection if you drink wine that cost over $15.00 per bottle. There is casual seating in front and a dining room. The dining room is not very special. Stack chairs and cloth covered tables in a very nondescript room. One table stacked with 150 assembled pizza boxes waiting for takeout. It was a Monday holiday evening so they were not busy at all. Four of us shared an appetizer of garlic bread with mozzarella and it was so good that it instantly disappeared. I had a pasta fagioli which they spell incorrectly but who cares since it tastes so good. For entrées we had pasta bolognaise, chicken with sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms in a cream sauce, eggplant parmigiana and lasagna. All were fresh and delicious. The portion size is huge. Our server was exceptional. While Naples Pizza and Restaurant lacks romantic atmosphere it more than makes up for it with with great tasting food at a fair price. This place is fantastic! Stopped in for lunch with our two small children and loved everything. We had the baked manicotti, kids penne and meatballs, penne vodka slice, grandma slice, and some regular slices. They grow their own basil right outside the front door giving the whole place a great fresh smell. People couldn't have been nicer. DEFINITELY get the Grandma Pizza. I placed a simple order. I ordered a California Cheesesteak wrap. They asked if I wanted lettuce, tomato, and onion on it, and I said yes. When I got my order they only included raw onions. Keep in mind people, their menu lists lettuce, tomato, and onion on their California Cheesesteak. I recommend you go somewhere else to eat. A place like this, that can't get a very easy and simple order right, does not deserve anyones business. read more
